The staff were very helpful.The Hotel was excellent standard. And would use it again.

Breakfast could of been warmer.

This I our third stay and we noticed a deterioration - things looking a little shabby. Breakfast had particularly deteriorated: stale dry croissants no juice problems with the coffee machine. Felt that if you wanted a reasonable breakfast you had to get up early. Staff seemed eager to close down well before ten and not replenishing.

The heating in our was not good! Very little response from the staff!

Nice rooms, good sized bed - en suite was very clean and pristine. Decent breakfast.

I liked the fact that the staff wet out of their way to accommodate my wheat free diet.

The staff were very pleasant and went out of their way to help at every opportunity. The hotel was spacious and the rooms were very nicely laid out. We have stayed in a few hotels in the Crewe area now and this is by far the best and is central to all ammenities. When in Crewe again it will be Holiday Inn again!!.

Room was a bit too warm and we couldnt get the TV to work. We sent down and to be fair someone came streight away. They were unable to fix it and ofered us a room swap which we declined so they very kindly gave us a drink in the bar on the hotel which was fair enough as we only stayed 1 night and didn't realy want to watch TV. This I felt was handled very well and very proffessionaly by the staff. Will stay here again no problem though

Need more staff. We had two rooms and were on seperate floors. When I called front desk had to let phone ring forever.

Young, helpful staff. One staff member even offered to clear our breakfast things away! Basic, but sensible breakfast options. Clean bright room.

A lovely building with a welcoming and frienly entrance.

Both rooms booked had problems. My daughters room - the shower was cold, although reported after the 1st night the same problem occurred the 2nd night resulting in the use of our shower. As far as my room was concerned - one roof blind was stuck fully closed, the other tuck half opened. The fan in the bathroom sounded like a force 10 gale sufficient to wake both myself and wife. This did not go off resulting a a request to move rooms. The 1st room we move to the tv didn't work and the second was cold. Although the shower was adequate it 'pulsed' hot & cold. In handling these problem your team didn't seem to work together. There didn't seem to a record of issues or actions so that when we returned after a day out we had to repeat the problems.

Very good value for money, especially with complimentary breakfast. Would definitely use this and other Holiday Inn Express Hotels again.

We didn't like the fact that our room had a tiny double bed, room 202, where as my sister in law room111, which was booked on the same basis was not only much larger, but also had an almost 6 ft wide double bed. I'm not sure how you justify having 2 different bed sizes in double rooms, for us it made the whole night very uncomfortable and cramped.

Staff were friendly and helpful - gave us a new room as our tv didn't work. We had the room for people with disabilities - lovely and big but with some downsides.

The food was not good. There were just 2 staff trying to cover reception, bar and kitchen on a Friday night. One of them was on her first day! The food was not quite what it was supposed to be and very basic - my soup and ciabatta was soup with a slice of bread; the burger was literally a burger in a bun! My caesar salad was just salad etc. the room we had - the shower was not great for us or for someone with a disability - the shower surround was awkward and difficult to manoevre, the shower itself went hot and cold - the tiny sink sprayed water everywhere if you wanted hot water... All that said, the hotel met our needs, just not with any style!

The room was far too hot and the air conditioning did not work and seemed to be controlled centrally, when reported to staff they were unable to rectify
