The room and bathroom decor were lovely and the bed was incredibly comfy. The wi-fi was easy to operate with none of the having to log-in nonsense. The breakfast was not bad and the location very central.
The scrambled eggs were a bit cold and the vent in my room made a background humming noise all night meaning I was unable to sleep properly which was unfortunate as the bed was very comfy. The balcony door didn't lock and although I was on the 3rd floor I didn't like the thought of the door being unsecured for the night. I wanted to like the hotel more as I really liked the rooms but don't know if I would especially for not more than one night.
Quiet and clean
Poor tv and wifi reception. Limited evening food choice
Location good near railway station, plenty of room. Would stay here again only because of location.
Asked for wake up call at 5am on first morning which we did not get. However did get the call on second morning when we did not want it, no apology offered. Room was hot, in particular ensuite was like a sauna. Breakfast not that good.
Stairs a little cramped
The staff and hotel room were better than expected, iron and ironing board instantly delivered when requested. Breakfast good. Plenty of tea and milk for our room.
The TV channels constantly breaking up which got very irritating.
Nice location. Clean and tidy. Convenient bathroom.
A fridge in the room would be useful.
breakfast was poor
Clean Room Power Shower Comfortable bed Comfortable desk and office chair Location to everything else Courteous staff
Breakfast was the same everyday
The food wasn't so great, also having mc Donald's right next to it was abit loud Parking area was really small.
Value for money and good location. Friendly staff and clean.
Very clean and good quality finish, comfy bed, stylish
The noise from mcdonalds, loud screeching of cars/motorbikes, shouting. Breakfast was poor, only sausage scrambled egg and beans. Cups werent big enough for a latte therefore overflowed and no coffee went in!
Convenient for the station and trading estates but it's not a place you'd stay except for business. Typical HI Express but not as smart as some
Needs a bit of money spending on it; creaky floorboards, noisy bathroom fan & air-con. Not much else in the area to see or do.
The staff were wonderful, polite and helpful, breakfast was of decent quality, the bed was comfortable and the room clean, overall what I would expect for the price paid.
The extractor fan in the bathroom (which turns on with the light and stays on for ages after) sounded like a bag of bolts... Not welcome after a 2am toilet visit.
Staff Always polite and most obliging Room very clean and fresh Good parking for customers on the premises Easy to find
Very Close to 24 Hour MacDonalds and noisy early in the morning with deliveries or cleaning trucks Shower floor in room 220 very slippery needs a non skid mat or rougher surface Sugar forgotten on tray one of the days for tea. Hot breakfast rather uninteresting when staying for any length of time with little variation.
Very spacious room. Proximity to train station. Breakfast buffet.
Shower: we couldn't regulate the temperature. It kept going from cold to boiling hot
We arrived very late at night and were worried that we had missed check in. The staff on the reception were so helpful nothing was too much trouble not even at 1130 at night! They even offered to change one of our rooms so my dad could have a double bed. We declined but thought how nice that they had offered it.
The breakfast was a bit basic (no bacon) but still excellent value for money
The room and ensuite was beautiful. Breakfast was really nice. Staff were professional and lovely. I would stay in this hotel again. Also having a car was a bonus to the hotel.
entering and exiting the car park, also as a pedestrian need crossings to walk across.
Air con good, room clean.
Breakfast cold, not even any bacon on offer, orange juice diluted so much it just tasted of water, the tea tasted very odd, staff looked pretty fed up !. Area very cramped & grubby !. Only 2 of the 5 ceiling lights worked in the bathroom.
The rooms fab, shower brilliant friendly helpful staff couldnt fault a thing!
A few smiles in the morning would have been nice.
Well located and easy to find. Rooms spacious and good order.
Beds not that comfortable and pillows poor. Some lights in bathroom not working so a bit dark. Wifi was rubbish and impossible to stay connected so planning following days work not good. Resorted to using 3G on phone!
Very nice and practical bathroom and large towels.
The size of the bed was rather small.
Ease of booking and checking in.
Only spoilt by the noisy doors. Our neighbours let the doors bang regularly. The need something to stop them banging. The scrambled eggs were inedible but apart from that breakfast was good.
Missing a shaving mirror in the bathroom
Ease of parking, and being able to unload and obtain easy access to lift from car park.
As George has difficulty walking, he found the shower was very slippy and not safe for him to use.
Really impressed with the quality of the hotel considering the great value price we paid. Perfect location, had all the facilities we needed (free parking; free wifi; comfortable room), would definitely recommend if you need somewhere convenient to Crewe, especially the train station which is literally 5 mins walk away
We didn't get the double room we requested and this wasn't highlighted to us when we checked in, however it was fine as they were unexpectantly short-staffed that even, and fully booked.
