Location was really good, it was a short 10 minute walk and you could get to the centre of the city along the canalside oassing the mailbox, ideal for shoppers and those out on the town. Rooms were Clean, spacious and comfortable. There was a wet room instead of a bath shower combo, which is a better use of space and make the bathroom feel less enclosed. The price of the food, particularly the breakfast was rather expensive, considering the close location of all the chain restaurants and local Cafes i thought it would have been more competative. |

A clean, modern hotel which is close to the City Centre. The staff were very helpful and the rooms well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was very busy and they didn't handle the volume particularly well. In the end we didn't have breakfast as the wait was too long. |

Modern rooms My partner and I spent an hour and a half driving around the city centre trying to find the hotel, as nobody on the reception desk was answering the phone to give us directions. Eventually we had to pay a taxi to direct us there! On arrival we were told that the car park was full - therefore we would have to park in an NCP carpark a 'short walk' away, and my partner was on crutches!! Terrible service and not at all apologetic. Definitely not worth the money. |

the beds were comfortable, and its a good location, also my boyfriend and i went to have something to eat he had the angus burger with stilton i tried a bit and it was lovely!! we stayed in room 605 and i guess all the other rooms are pretty much similar? the lighting isnt the best in the rooms, doing your make up is a nightmare in that light. adding little touches like shampoo conditioner and not just that shower/shampoo combie, would be nice and having an extra two pillows in the room would be good so you dont have to go all the way down stairs to get them, waiting time for the food was quite long for what we had and we were the only ones eating in there. and the carpark was full which was annoying as we had to park a fair bit away from the hotel |

Any problems were sorted promptly. Staff were friendly. No Bath, No extractor in the bathroom, limited TV stations, no biscuits. Temperature was fairly cold. Not much variety on the restaurant menu. No mini bar.The Ramada hotel was a higher standard and I expected this to be on a par with it. Noisey at night - hotel guests talking loud and banging doors at 0100am...No wardrobes or drawers to put clothes in. |

They allowed me to check in early as I arrived at about 11am and they had rooms available. This was really useful. My friends who were booked into the other Ramada hotel at the mailbox nearby came to my hotel to meet me to get ready to go out, but as it was after 11pm at night, I wasnt allowed guests to come to my room and they had to sit in reception. |

The staff were very polite and helpful re taxi's and best areas for night life in Birmingham. Only problem was the 'petrol tanker' supplying the nearby petrol station at 6:30am |

a reasonable price for an overnight theatre break. The hotel was very close to the city centre, but far enough away from the noisev and traffic. We were lucky to also get one of the few secure parking slots( £10 for 12 hours). |
