Breakfast was excellent,
Bed was very creaky, and wifi would be good in bedrooms too.
Good value for money
The sofa bed had sharp edges which was dangerous with a toddler
Easy to find, not far from Birmingham City centre, all necessary shops like Morissons , McDonald's , halfords etc. close by. Although hotel located close to busy road you can get good night sleep.
Staff seemed to be miserable and unhappy. We had to speak to staff from 3 departments and all 3 of them seemed to be unhappy and not enjoying their job.
tried to order room service as per menu in the room which said served til 930 on Friday. Not available as only served til 9pm - I went hungry!
food and staff
shower were good but flooded the whole bathroom which was very bad.
Rooms Pool table 24 hour bar
£15 for a burger that was poor quality (rest of the menu is no better)
No longer value for money. Would help if they had a pc available for guests to use , even if a small fee was charged.
Quality of bed linen / towels Facilties
Bathrooms are like mini spas with a really good shower. Plenty of towels and nice complimentary toiletries.
Beds not premier inn standard. Creaky and hard. Restaurant pleasant but food expensive.
Staff very helpful. Neat and clean accommodation.
No rood fridges available. Although they kept our stuff in their fridges.
1. Air Condition in the room was very excellent 2. Wifi Was excellent. 3. Car Parking was excellent. 4. Price was good
1. Room size was very small for a family of 4. We stayed in room 305. 2. No fridge in the room. 3. No storage cupboad / wardrobe 4. The double bed was uncomfortable and pillows was just two, which leaves me struggling with some neck aches when I woke up. 5. shower room/toilet not good enough. 6. would suggest putting carpets/rug the rooms and upgrading the shower area to an enclosed glass one. Also, attention should be giving to families with children when allocating rooms. Children need space especially when in the same room with parents/adults.
The receptionist was particularly helpful and even printed off my boarding pass for my flight home for me!
Great hotel managed to book at very last minute was great value for money amazing choice of breakfast in the morning staff was so helpful and friendly. Hotel is near everything would recommend to friends/family great hotel and service.
Family rooms were tiny. Nothing to do for children at all. Very basic hotel Not worth the money at all Far too expensive for bog standard food Would not come here again.
The choice and quality of food for breakfast was fantastic .The staff were friendly and helpfull ,we would stay at the hotel again
When showering the floor was like a skating ring, resulting in myself and son slipping over.
Nothing that I can think off.
1) Location not that good. A bit difficult to find. Safe by satnav (tomtom) to find the place. 2) bed is so uncomfortable to sleep. 3) noise like water is flowing all night.
Booked very late as decided needed somewhere to stop mid-journey so grateful to find somewhere with space! If we had arrived at a 'sensible' time ie when it was light then most of my grumbles would have been easily resolved. Bed was big and comfortable. Room was quiet despite being able to see motorway.
Arrived after dark, room was very poorly lit and couldn't find a 'main' light switch. Room was very hot - found air con unit in the morning when there was some light! Pillows were too thin for my liking. Kids had to share a sofa bed. Only a shower.
Windows facing M6
I was on a training course in walsall so booked this hotel , the location good staff friendly and nothing to much trouble . Rooms were clean and spacious. Definatey stay again as so near to all major transport links .
Poor rooms No cot bed when asked for one. Glass vodka bottle left under bed heard crack when child jumped on bed.
Staff are friendly location good
We have stayed at this property for the 4th time now and things are getting worse The room had the sofa taken out of it, no hair-dryer works and have to go to a separate room to use it, room wasn't cleaned when we were there either.
The food, warm white wine. After 6 hour drive, being told that the kitchen was closing so we'd have to be quick didn't appeal. Being told that I would have to share a double bed with my carer was frankly ridiculous and so on.
