The staff were good and the room was clean. The design looked good but in reality the functionality was poor. For example, the bathroom door when opened crashed into the front door of the room. The shower did not point downwards in a central position. The bottom of the bed overhangs the mattress so that you can bash your shin too easily. The kettle did not function unless you pressed down on its lid. The floor was wood- and the chair provided had wheels. This meant that when I was trying to work I had to place a towel under the wheels to keep the chair stationary.

Location, opposite a station with trains to Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton etc Even with the walk to the station none of these woild be more than 30 minutes away and no hastle with driving or parking. Food is good and food prices (for a hotel) are good, I had the same problem as on my last visit, Obviously as this is a regular complaint and this was two years ago they are slow to react. However I emailed the manager (who was not on duty) and he was quick to respond saying they are attending to the problem on a room by room basis. I will try this hotel again in a couple of months time.

I am very fussy when it comes to Hotels. This hotel was good in many ways: price, offered breakfast, clean double rooms, even the sofa bed was made up. Was just worth the money spent. Every thing was to taste but the only let down was the room phone didn't work.

I like the reputation of the Radisson but not the Radisson Birmingham Walsall. Keys had to be reissued every 24 hours. Shabbiness - parquet flooring missing, thick black scuff marks up utitlity doors. Ignoring guest request for top floor without explanation. Poor internet facilities in rooms (but not in reception and bar area) Corner of beds a shin hazard when duvet tucked in.

Location to where I need to be. The location to the motorway is a problem on the front of the hotel with noise, I was warned about this prior to getting there by a friend and asked for a room at the back of the hotel, they gave me one with no problems. I would of like free Wi Fi in my room so I could work, but you have to pay for that and it is only free in the bar area, which is very good but not if you are trying to write a report surrounded by people drinking and watching football on the TV.

Checking out. The couch in the room had a large portion of the material covering it missing. It had been torn off and not repaired. I took photos of it to show friends and colleagues.

It was close to my office Evening check in staff were extreamly rude. Unable to get a table to eat, so had to order room service - took 20 minutes for them to answer the phone. Room walls are paper thin - you could here every single word the people in the next room were saying. Wooden floors in hotel rooms is not good - the noise carries too much

Although there was a problem with our booking, all the staff at this hotel did their very best to help us in a very polite and friendly way, especially in accommodating our friend with a small baby. I cannot speak highly enough of them - they were outstanding.
