good budget hotel. we stayed in the family room with our two pre school kids. One room plus bathroom, the kids slept on a pull out sofa next to our double. Room was pretty small but clean enough. I would stay again if i needed a clean cheap hotel for a night. A little noisy, our room was on the ground floor and we had quite a bit of noise from other guests until quite late.

Good parking Not near any facilities (other than football ground) needed to drive to a pub or restaurant. Hotel used by budget tour companies en route toCadbury World, hence very high proportion of excited noisy children. Not good when one has just settled down for a relaxing glass of wine and meal in the restaurant(by the way which was cold enough that I kept my coat on

Helpful and attentive staff. Pleasant atmosphere. Wonderful breakfast. Just what's required for hectic city 'leisure' trip. Have been before and will come again! Thank-you. Hard to find something to grumble about - obviously had some problem with electricity in some part of the hotel but this did not impinge on our stay.

Good location for our needs. Beds comfortable. Good, hot shower. Reception staff could have shown a little more personable enthusiasm. Breakfast was very mediocre.

Location, opposite a station with trains to Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton etc Even with the walk to the station none of these woild be more than 30 minutes away and no hastle with driving or parking. Food is good and food prices (for a hotel) are good, I had the same problem as on my last visit, Obviously as this is a regular complaint and this was two years ago they are slow to react. However I emailed the manager (who was not on duty) and he was quick to respond saying they are attending to the problem on a room by room basis. I will try this hotel again in a couple of months time.

I am very fussy when it comes to Hotels. This hotel was good in many ways: price, offered breakfast, clean double rooms, even the sofa bed was made up. Was just worth the money spent. Every thing was to taste but the only let down was the room phone didn't work.

I like the reputation of the Radisson but not the Radisson Birmingham Walsall. Keys had to be reissued every 24 hours. Shabbiness - parquet flooring missing, thick black scuff marks up utitlity doors. Ignoring guest request for top floor without explanation. Poor internet facilities in rooms (but not in reception and bar area) Corner of beds a shin hazard when duvet tucked in.

Location to where I need to be. The location to the motorway is a problem on the front of the hotel with noise, I was warned about this prior to getting there by a friend and asked for a room at the back of the hotel, they gave me one with no problems. I would of like free Wi Fi in my room so I could work, but you have to pay for that and it is only free in the bar area, which is very good but not if you are trying to write a report surrounded by people drinking and watching football on the TV.

Checking out. The couch in the room had a large portion of the material covering it missing. It had been torn off and not repaired. I took photos of it to show friends and colleagues.

Although there was a problem with our booking, all the staff at this hotel did their very best to help us in a very polite and friendly way, especially in accommodating our friend with a small baby. I cannot speak highly enough of them - they were outstanding.

i have just returned from a one night stay at this hotel a very nice and clean hotel with very pleasant staff the only downfall is having a front room and listening to the lorries on the motorway so my advice to anyone is ask for a room at the back.
