The staff were very helpful and pleasant and the buffet breakfast was nice and an excellent price.

The family room was VERY small, considering it was potentially for two children and two adults, with no seating area other than one desk chair on castors which all had to share! Wasn't prepared for the location being immediately next to the football club or within an industrial estate with an elevated motorway outside the window. The walk-in shower was modern, however it did flood the entire bathroom floor each time it was used which meant that we had to use some of the towels to mop up a very wet floor.

Double bed for son - a novelty for him! Walk in shower & design of bathroom. The feeling of space in the bedroom, with no wardrobe overcrowding.

The provided soap was difficult to get out of the dispenser. Lack of breakfast choice for my little boy. The gap between bed & headboard as the pillows fell down. The lack of wifi facility in the room - when I booked the website said wifi was available - it did not mention limited access. We could hear the baby next door crying - not great soundproof - although we didn't hear other external sound.

Resturant had very basic menu eg. burgers and chips. The walk in shower sprayed the bathroom door and wet all of the floor by sink and lavatory. The paint on the bottom of the door is already damaged by the shower

I agree with Scott's (Wokingham)comments exactly: Once inside experience was first class throughout. I was even allowed to use a disabled shower, because our room had a normal shower. (Ishould have requested a disabled room when reserving, but it didn't occur to me.)

Exterior could do with a makeover, and proximity of motorway (although no noise problem) and football ground detracted from first impressions.Actually, Sunday market next door was beneficial - found an anniversary present for our son!Security chain detached and also unable to deadlock door.

Modern, clean and bright hotel. The room was virtually identical to a Ramada Encore I had statyed in recently right down to the bathroom layout. I enjoyed my stay there too. Room was quiet no roudy neighbours. Check in and check out was quick and simple.

The heating system. It was quite cold outside and although the heating was set to a warm temerature the heat didn't seem to extend all the way to the window. I had to increase the temperature quite significantly to heat the entire room up. Lighting - could have benefited from a single ceiling light to light up the entire room.

The map on the bookings dot com website showed the hotel to be on the opposite side of the ring road- driving round Walsall at 11 pm was rather intimidating- fortunately when I phoned the staff were very helpful in giving directions.
