I liked the location which was within walking distance of Derby County Football Club as the purpose of our visit was to see Leeds United v Derby County. I liked the very modern bathroom. I disliked that the bedrrom had a wooden floor as I could hear the other occupants walking around intheir shoes. I disliked the position of the tv in the corner of the room as it was imossible to watch tv in comfort in bed. I disliked the the low backed uncomfortable chairs in the Reception seating area. I disliled the £9.95 cooked buffet breakfast as been out too long bacon hard, beans dried up, no eggs and I reported the fruit salad was off but there was no concern apology or replacement.

Location for my trip Would not let me check in early. When I checked out (4am) they were runnign a computer backup and would not/could not interupt the computer run to give me my bill. While they did eventually their attitude was that of inconvenience to them vs service to me, I did tell them I would be checking out at 4am and they said they would be ok with it.

Modern design, excellent bathroom/shower. Overall style is clean and modern. Staff were very professional and friendly. Facilities such as movies-on-demand came at an extra price, and the promotion of sky channels was misleading as the only sky channels that were included were Sky News, Russia today, e4 and CBeebies. These limitations were not made clear on the hotel's website. Food was also excessively expensive (a simple sandwich costed £5, although far below par to that of london's finest).

All the staff were extremely helpful and obliging, which made our stay a pleasure. The led bedside reading lights were a bit too glaring. In order to get the right balance of light you needed to have the room lights on and these could not be switched on/off individually.

I was not happy as I walked in the hotel in my wedding dress and they gave us a twin room when I had booked a double I was to tired to do anything so me and my hustband slept in a single bed. The breakfast was very good value for money.

Very handy for Derby County's ground at Pride Park. Not too far to walk into Derby though. Apart from a Harvester and car showrooms there is nothing near the hotel.

The hotel was clean and modern and was in an excellent location a few hundred yards from the train station and a 10 minute walk from the town centre. It also right next to pride park stadium for anyone going to the football. Would definitely use this hotel again.

Very lovely room, easy to get to, friendly and helpful staff. The beds were too hard -- we both had a sore back when we woke up.

Great weekend price for the quality of the accommodation. They also did a good deal on the breakfast whilst we were there. The buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.

The 'business park' location, although it was close to the city centre. I would not have been happy there alone day or night.

Very pleasant, friendly staff. Quiet location, no loud parties at night, comfortable bedrooms. Free parking right outside front door. Half price breakfast between certain hours.Good value for money hotel. The hot food at breakfast wasn't so much hot as lukewarm - a pity because it tasted otherwise very good. The half price that we paid for it was reasonable enough, but for guests who couldn't be at breakfast within the stipulated hours it would have been a bit pricy at over £9.

The Ramada is a relatively new hotel, the staff are very helpful and room clean with a comfortable bed. Not keen on a wood floor in the bedroom as it has a cold feel, especially as the heating is off/very low when you arrive. The bar and restaurant are located in the reception area with the main entrance locate here through lobby doors. However, the lobby dodrs are open at the same time when people enter and leave, which results in cold gusts of air entering the area at regular intervals.

The hotel room was excellent value for money, very clean, modern and comfortable with a wet room. The location is just outside of the city centre, very convenient for local shopping centre and nearby bars/restaurants. The noise during the night from the wind was really terrible and kept us awake. The hotel is situated in a business park and there must be a wind trap which caused very loud noise on the side of the hotel where our room was.
