Requested to sign a piece of paper with my room number on it then being given that to keep... doh... pointless...
Very friendly , skilled staff and great food
We didn't have breakfast as the price was too over the top
Staff were friendly and helpful
The bed was a tad firm and there was no good available for room service late in the evening.
The staff were really pleasant and helpful. The room was modern, clean and well equipped, much nicer than some budget hotels I've stayed in.
No tea replenishment. No toiletry bags for women in toilets
No WiFi in room
Great value for money
Accommodation looking on to car park , an essential requirement ,
Location /Facility's ,
There was no hot water in the morning (6:45). The wifi didn't work and neither did 3G. Phone signal frequently dropped - overall a poor location to be in for a business trip! Breakfast is vastly overpriced, especially looking at the food served, glad I didn't bother. Bed duvets are very thin. At £45 you get what you pay for, I won't be staying again. I'd rather spend £75 and stay up the road at Holiday Inn
No wifi in bedrooms not even at an extra cost - bad for business ladies travelling alone with loads of work to do. They don't want to sit in the bar with white van man! Some traffic noise so ask for a room at the front of hotel. Rooms could be cleaner and beds softer but you get what you pay for
Location. Near to M6. Cant grumble for the price. Enough parking space. Everything worked except wifi in rooms
Clean and bright room
The noise coming from the east lances.
Most of the staff where very helpful. Night porter was excellent couldn't do enough to please.
Room looked dirty because walls had scuff marks all over them and lighting wasn't adequate because spotlights had blew or didn't work.
The wet room drained the wrong way, went towards toilet rather than the drain so bathroom was flooded the whole time we were there...wifi was no existent even though our room was right over reception.
Good location to where we needed to visit
It was all pretty shabby. The shower was particularly in need of some tlc. The bedroom was very dusty and basic.
I booked this hotel Last minute and it was close to m6.
The shower is strange and allowed water across the whole bathroom floor and the water drainage from the sink was almost as bad. The beds were not the most comfortable with lumpy pillows. I had to return to reception three times in a two day stay to get my room key reset.
We were visiting Haydock Park and it was quite convenient but it was certainly more than the.8 mile than indicated - I am not a crow and have to go by road.
Room had not got carpet but nice laminated floor,
Liked the whole experience :-)
The staff were excellent
Wifi strength was weak and the TV reception was appalling.
Rooms were good.
The only complaint I would have is about the 2 coaches that where sat outside with there engines running for about 40 mins. They don't need to, I have a friend who is a coach driver/instructor. Waste of diesel and annoying.
Friendly staff, good location for what we needed.
shower water did not run away and flooded the wet room, this also happened to all my other friends staying at the same time. I had no trouble booking in, but my friends did and we all had trouble booking out.
location to my needs,
Check out experience could have been better, not asked had we enjoyed our stay or given the chance to highlight a couple of things that needed attention in the room.
Everything you need for a comfortable value for money stay.
Nothing to criticise
Very helpful and friendly staff
check in,,,,cleaniness of bed linen,,at 6.45 sunday morning staff beneath window outside smoking and talking loudly....was told monday morning when i checked out that a manager would ring me..stil waiting that call....room was very cold had to ring reception at 5 am to turn on the heat in the room
Couldn't access free wifi and bed was not as comfortable as expected. Mattress topper moved around in the night and sheets were too small and also came off in the night. Cleaner made the bed up around a few clothes placed on the bed, rather than taking them off and placing them back after. Returned to the sheet tucked in around duvet/clothes as we left it. Shower/wet room is not very well designed as water covers the whole of the bathroom but cannot drain away.
Young lad on reception couldn't do enough to help and was very polite. We stayed in the new room and was very nice, well decorated. Price for the stay was very reasonable and would return.
