The hotel is superbly located, just off junction 23 of the M6 motorway, next to Haydock Park Racecourse, and serves as a gateway to the entire North West region.
Score from 226 reviews Very good
Friendliness of staff at hotel, worked hard to get rate back as partner was a friend of the manager so she sorted out the issue.
Rate changed and never received email to say so, had problems checking in.
everything was very good
Asked for a quiet room as a good nights sleep was essential and this was achieved
The rooms needed to be deep cleaned especially the walk in shower to rid of scum marks. Paintwork needed to be wiped down, especially the skirting boards
I appreciated that this hotel was located near a restaurant and local shops.
I didn't like that the wifi wasn't available in the room when it specifically stated that it was. It appeared that it was great for business but for a young couple I may think to go somewhere else next time. Personal opinion.
We have stayed at this Hotel many times. Having had a break from travelling we decided to return. The standards have dropped, the condition of the bed side light fittings in the room where dangerous. We will not be returning.
A warm welcome in a very clean and hospitable hotel.
Not a lot
Room wasn't accessible by the key card they said they would move us but didn't so if we wanted to go bk in our room after nipping out we had to wait for the staff to find the master key then instead of walking up 1 set of stairs the staff insisted on using the lifts
Excellent venue next door for a group meal Staff were all friendly and helpful Painless, rapid check-in and check-out Relaxed and comprehensive breakfast provision
WiFi limited and wired internet connection slow Would have been nice to see more fresh fruit at breakfast Toaster at breakfast needed a close eye on it
Location, east access to motorway Staff were very helpful and friendly Room was modern, clean Value for money
Parking was limited Extractor fan in shower room did not work Bedside lights worked but broken
Good location. Plenty of parking. Evening meal was good.
Traffic noise was quite loud - next to a dual carriageway. Windows weren't very effective at keeping out the noise.
although not been for a while, still good and convenient hotel for our travelling needs.
the shower and the free newspaper
the hair dryer, the tv and the internet strength
Great nights sleep. The breakfast was great, the young woman from Liverpool on the front desk and the blonde lady in charge of the breakfast were both very polite and helpful .(I'm not good with names sorry.) Would stay again.
Located on the A580, near to M6 (for M62 and M56). On this occasion we were given a room on the "town" side of the building, and away from traffic on the A580
No draft Guinness!!!!
the hotel was ok
the fire alarm at midnight shower floor black round the edges very off putting
Its an OK hotel
no wifi in rooms staff at reception all young and were chitty chatty! Bordering on rude to be honest -needs IMPROVEMENT!
Alarm was loud and effective.
A false alarm at midnight. Rather dazed! + lack of order, information and communication from member of staff. Day staff had no idea that it had happened. Thankfully it was a dry night.
The room was clean, nice big mirror in the bathroom. Liked that it had a long mirror for getting ready
The shower itself was ok but the wet room setup was awful and over spilled into the bathroom part. No mirror on the wall by the desk so had to sit on the floor to get ready.
excellent room & very professional staff, the hotel is located in a good position for commuting to nearby Liverpool or accessing the nearby M6.
noise for the traffic on the main road could be heard in my room on the 3rd floor, the television in the room offered a very basic choice of channels and the sound and picture quality were poor.
all of it hotel and rooms very clean
bed to hard
Lymewood Farm- excellent food & beer.Nothing to do with the Ramada. This can be the only reason anyone would stay at the Ramada
Staff very unfriendly, bed like sleeping on a board, very basic. The only reason you would stay here is because of the pub across the road which was fantastic but really busy, Why ask what time you are going to arrive if you definately can't check in untill 2pm? I'd never stay here again
Good value for money and the room was clean and tidy. Easy access to the m6
Room was right next to the busy dual carriageway so we could hear traffic noise all night.Wifi didn't reach our bedroom. Tv could do with more free view channels as we stayed in room due to noisy murder mystery night taking place downstairs.
It was clean. Staff were all polite and helpful. Noise was not a problem, slept quite well. We didn't sample the food.
Besides the noisy kettle in the room not much at all.
