nice hotel but be warned: the double bed is exactly that and i am afraid it did feel rather small to a slightly overweight middle aged couple.
I stayed for 1 night. It was a really nice hotel excellent location nice and clean. I was really impressed the next day when i was late for breakfast my son was hungary the lovely reception lady went out of her way and gave my son breakfast truly gratefull.
It was quite cold at night and their was a bit of noise from cars and people outside
Spotless room and bathroom with powerful shower Good deco and modern contemporary feel Quiet functional AC unit Central location within Leicester city centre
Slightly slow WiFi access within rooms, but decent considering WiFi is free Needs high speed internet access for the willing customer
Price of hotel, excellent customer service, nice location, would definitely recommend.
Wet room facilities. Comfort of bed
No proper towel rails. Your towel just fell off the 'knobs'provided. We were in a disabled room and the chair provided was lethal for a person with movement difficulties. Staff on reception with a better and clearer command of the English language
Loved the location, the breakfast was great, and the rooms were clean and comfortable
Not providing proper shampoo (only a liquid soap is available for both hair and body wash).
Staff, location & the room in general.
Smell of drug use in the room on arrival .. however this was promptly dealt with by the team on duty.
seriously comfy beds free wifi friendly staff central location clean, well designed rooms
breakfast not included
the price when booked in advance, easy access to the local area. Room was great Really clean Parking around the corner and discounted if staying at the hotel.
the price of drinks Was high even for a hotel.
The staff were really polite and very helpful. The room was warm and the bed was cosy. Making a English Breakfast on Christmas day was first class
When you travel so much a gym option would be nice even at christmas
Excellent city centre car park with concessionary rate of £8 for 24 hours in public car park very close to hotel. Duty manager very helpful with small details. Good shower and washbasin , lots of hot water.
Despite manager's best efforts the heating did not work. Generator- like noise (0r maybe the wind) disturbing at night.
Great room with comfy bed. Great shower too!
Staff took a little long to check me in.
no free parking
This was our first visit to Leicester. Great choice of hotel as it is close to the shops, museums and good restaurants. The staff were really welcoming. Would definitely go again.
The hotel was in a great location for us. Close to the town, train station and parking. The hotel was quiet with a good sized room and good level of cleanliness. Bar food was good & our friends got a cheaper parking fee as the hotel will scan your NCP parking ticket which means you pay 8quid instead of £20! Thought this was a nice touch.
Bathroom smelt a bit drainy/uriney when we returned in the evening. We asked for an iron and ironing board but had to wait more than 25minutes as not enough staff on (maybe because it was a Sunday?) Couldn't get our regular drinks at the hotel bar and neither could our friends. Staff didn't seem the most organised. Our party had various problems with other group members booking in.
Big clean rooms. Excellent shower and hair dryer. Superb location. Good food at the bar quick service. It's situated literally 1min walk from NCP Rutland Centre Car Park - the hotel will validate your parking ticket making it only £8 for 24hrs instead of £20/£25 at hotel.
The bar was completely under stocked. Many of my group couldn't get their usual drinks. So unless you're a beer drinker or happy with a vodka coke don't get your hopes up! My booking was also incorrect and instead of correcting them I was argued with by 1 receptionist and charged for 2 extra rooms that I didn't book/cancel (despite showing receipts and booking confirmations on the day and via email). This has since been amended and my money refunded promptly. There doesn't seem to be any communication between shift change overs. However, Elina was helpful and corrected the error quickly and politely. Thank you.
We had a clean large room with a good shower. Powerful hair dryer in room was a bonus. Housekeeping were friendly. Close to secure parking, town centre and Athena Theatre.
Bed was too soft. Bar was a big let down - no ameretto, no pineapple juice, no malibu etc. Kept getting "reminded" to pay even though we had paid when we checked in. Check out a bit early :(
Good food, good location, amazing shower and decent sized rooms. Hotel also validates parking tickets for ncp car park across the road making it much much cheaper £8 for 24hrs!
Rooms felt cold staff not particularly welcoming/friendly
Fantastic central hotel. Booked in with a group for our Christmas outing. Excellent room and would definitely stay again and recommend it.
The room was clean and basic. The bed was comfortable.
I have never had a worse meal than in the Ramada Encore 'restaurant'. The food was tasteless, poor quality and badly cooked. We were not able to eat most of it, as it was so terrible. The restaurant was freezing cold, we asked that the heating be turned on but nothing was done. We had to keep our coats on to eat. We had to queue up for half an hour to check in as there was only one member of staff on reception.
Not enough light in rooms. Sticky fluid on the headboard, can't see so not cleaned properly! Long mirror position in the wrong place, would need to stand on the bed to get full length view. Room key given to other guest staying in the hotel!
Being told they had messed up the booking and that I had to stay elsewhere.
room very nice
evening meal, expensive, tasteless, extremely bad value, you would get a better meal at a HARVESTER !!!!! in my opinion avoid like the plague
