I liked the location and the staff were helpful.

The rooms are poorly designed with too much wasted space but, more importantly, were not clean. The first room we had to be moved from because of it lack of cleanliness.There was even a used incense stick stuck in the window frame. We had to ask for glasses and the bathroom extractor fans were useless.

Excellent value for money, clean, friendly, breakfast delicious. We would definitely stay here again, thank you.

wooden floors reflecting all light from outside.Street lights and sun.. curtains too short to stop the light coming in. windows not sound proofed wooden floors amplifying all sounds so could hear every one above me and next to me walking around with shoes on shower was useless water came out slow and even stopped all together at one point. tried to shower later and it was freezing cold. Room service is pathetic. I asked for room service then got told I had to go collect it myself. so why call it room service? reception un manned for 20 min .. thats how long I stood waiting for sevice. As windows not sound proofed all sound from outside came in. It's location being town centre means lots of loud noise on a weekend. especially at 3 am when drunk party goers walking past. oh... my favourite. 10 pounda for a burgwr then an xtra 2.50 for a few measly fries. a total of 12.50 and then having to fetch it myself. McDonalds not far so for that price I can have more than one meal. as I have to fetch it myself it makes no difference then. Staff unfriendly an not even bothered to ask about my stay. Anotherthing although not hotels fault was the room next door full of noisy people at 4 in the morning. after a few phone calls and argument with staff they got kicked out. my sleep was a total of 2 hours spread over the night.

Stylish, good location, managed to get a good price for a room.

The reception staff. One of them was very unhelpful and spoke over me when I was explaining something. Then he made a mistake - because he hasn't been listening to what I was saying!

No car park with the hotel Very noisy room (408) on a Sat night, could hear loud music from surrounding clubs, people shouting, fighting, glass breaking,police most of the night. Walked outside the hotel in the morning and there was broken glass near by and car windows smashed in.

I was more than happy with my recent stay at The Ramada Encore. The hotel's location was perfect for my city trip. The staff were very friendly, polite & very helpful. The rooms were very spacious, incredibly clean & very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel....it's of a very high standard.

We stayed their as a family of 8 adults it was convenient for shopping and the breakfast was good

We had 4 rooms amongst us some had dressing gowns some didnt, when we asked for one to be brought up the assistant said he didnt understand what I was asking for I said dressing gown, robe, he said didnt know what I meant , then I rang downto ask what setting to put the thermostat on as the rooms was very cold he said he didnt know what I was talking about so my partner had to go down but they still did not come up, the beds was very small and kept coming away from the headboard, the room had cheap looking laminate which made the rooms feel cold, when we checked in I could smell canabis in the room and as I reported it on my way out they asked if it was ok to go in the room to check but when we got back they had opened the window and my room was freezing at this point, we stay in hotels all the time and can honestly say it wasnt the best

I stayed in room 415 and the noise from the extractor fans at ground floor level was so loud I could not sleep with the window open.

It was clean and quite comfortable. Also quiet.

Range of teas and biscuits seemed a bit cheap and not enticing. Luckily, I had my own teabags. But could have done with a ginger biscuit rather than a digestive or an oat one!

I wanted to park at the Hotel. I had to go through the group number (see what I didn't like) to get the hotel's direct number. Once I had the number the receptionist I spoke to could not be more helpful. She was excellent, and that was also true of all the staff during the visit. They need to train the group centre staff about customer service.

I wanted to book a parking space as stated on the booking information. The contact number on the reservation was a group number. They were not knowledgeable or helpful (told me first that I could not book a parking space then on a later call that the Hotel had no parking) I nearly cancelled but on the third call to them I got the direct number for the Hotel and I was able to book my parking. They need training on customer service andthe hotels they represent (the Hotels staff in contrast were excellent).

I got 2 rooms at a discounted rate, which made it a very good value for money. The room was modern, clean and comfortable.

Tiny room tiny bathroom cold flooring unhelpful staff especially when our stay was for a birthday occasion asked for a change of room they offered a disabled room it all seemed too much of an effort for them!

Friendly, helpful staff. Close to city shops, theatres, etc. Good rooms.
