Score from 465 reviews Very good
The breakfast was very good, and it was very good value for money.
We had creaky floorboards in the room that we stayed in. The bed was very uncomfortable and we could not sleep very well. The car park was a very long winded process.
Got given an upgrade. Thank You
It was all good!!
Located close to hotels bars and restaurants. Excellent basic facilities at a good price.
No hotel car park.
Location excellent. Very helpful young lady checked us in. 18.30 Friday 17th Oct.
Hair dryer in room did not work properly. Plug socket near mirror not working. Wet room very wet! Shower cream dispenser fell off wall - not enough extraction in bathroom. Limited TV channels. Bar pricey for food.
nothing to dislike
Twin room required and booked. Bed settee was 2nd bed. Waited 2 hours for sheets. Had to leave early before breakfast started. Another £20 thrown away. Your hotel is a total rip off and your booking system inadequate. Even your review system does not give suitable answer options.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Close to where we needed to be. Close to station for my daughter.
Bit noisy. Right outside a very noisy bar and as it was still warm so they were outside of the building. Had to keep the window shut to keep the noise out.
Central location; good breakfast
WiFi cost £11-99/24h; no free parking
I loved the huge wet room style shower!! Lots of towels big sofa in cheapest room later 12 o.clock check out time as standard
The bed slats weren't fixed so was really noisy in the night time whilst having fun ..minor point.. not having plug sockets on both sides of the bed this seems to be standard...? Its silly
The bed, duvet, pillows were very clean and comfortable.
There was sooo much noise coming from people outside who were probably partying in the other buildings surrounding the hotel, THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND! It was horrible, anyway just had to shut my window permanently, and that solved the problem.
Hotel was clean and a great location, will definitely return
Had to pay £10 to park
I'm not sure where to start with this hotel. The staff was so rude, there was only one member of staff who was apologetic for the stay me and my college experienced and she came from the kitchen! As for parking the parking they have is £10 a night or you have to pay £1.40 for public parking if there is spaces, even this is quiet a walk. As for the noise me and my college has sprat rooms and we both experienced how nosey the area is due to pubs and clubs, we understand this can't be helped but at the same time when your working long hours you need to sleep. Now we get to breakfast, there was no juice at all and when asked they was surprised but didn't take any action, when we requested some eggs for work as there was none they said they wasn't serving eggs, so I had a muffin and just before we was leaving they bring out a couple some fresh cooked eggs and we ask the woman about this and she apologised so it was then to late to eat. And it didn't stop there the door keys didn't work so we had to get 2 lots of new door keys. Need I carry on the room's were nice other then the fact there was no free WIFI in the rooms they change you for this and they do not inform you of this. We will not be staying here again.
Good location for central MK. Most of the staff friendly and accommodating.
I don't know about other Ramada Encore hotels but this one is in dire need of refurbishment. The room's engineered-wood floors and furniture gave it a student Halls of Residence feel. Bed not up to today's standards and had seen better days. To have a bath, or even a decent shower, the Wet Room/Toilet didn't cut the mustard. Television so out of date, even down to 4:3 aspect ratio. Remote had black insulating tape to keep the batteries in place. Clubbers, Stag/Hen parties, or whatever, coming in at 3 a.m. making a lot of noise - shouting in the corridor, etc. Doors left to close under their own power make quite a slam - especially at 3 a.m.
Nice lounge restaurant area
Noisy rooms, wooden floors and corridoors that transmitted noise from above and outside. Was double charged and on reading other comments there seems to be a few problems with their accounting. Advice is check your account and bill.
would be good to have more coffee and milk in the room than the standard amount given
Too much noise on Saturday nights with drunken guests upto 3 am
Location and Cost
24 hour room service option and access to restuarant
Cost of WiFi for 24hrs very expensive.
11.99 for Wi-Fi
Non-free wifi in rooms
the location of the hotel was excellent, it was within walking distance to the shopping mall in Milton Keynes and just outside its doors in the courtyard was all the nicest restaurant that Milton Keynes have to offer. I especially, enjoy the cuisine at the Turtle Bay restaurant.
I did not like the fact that I was booked into an executive room. I arrive at the hotel early, upon arriving the room was not ready and I was told that I would be put temporarily into similar but standard room until the room was cleaned. Nobody told me I had to come back to the front desk and ask that I should be moved to the room that was booked. After the first day I ask the desK attendant what was the issue with my room he advise that they were still waiting for one to become available. Finally, day 3 of my stay I spoke with a supervisor who told me that I would have to bring my stuff down to the storage area at the front and in the evening when I got back to the hotel my booked room should be available. I had a rental car, I did not like the fact that everyday in order to park the car I was required to retrieve a parking decal and password form the front desk to enter the parking garage , this was an unnecessary convenience, what is wrong with giving a decal for the entirety of my stay at the hotel.
Was offered a free breakfast after a stranger went into my room as was checked into the same room.
Room was checked-in twice, a stranger went jnto my room while I was inside, very scary. Then for one hour extension of checkout time I was asked to pay 10 GBP. Room floor was dirty. No recommendation!
Location is good, very close to the shopping centre and 10 minute walk from the station.
I didn't like having to iron in a communal cupboard on the 2nd floor. I thought I'd booked a hotel not a hostel.
I paid 115.00 but for what you pay the facilities are poor and there's no parking so that's an additional fee! Won't visit or stay ever again!
