breakfast was excellent
reception. only one member of staff available despite being 5 separate guests checking in. multi training of staff would allow reception to call on assistance
beds were very comfy.
Lightning in room was very dark and dingy. Room was small and smelt of chips upon arrival.
Did the job! ideal for the LG
Bathroom could have been cleaner...
good clean room
Room was cold even with heater on full and so was the bathroom.
Clean, spacious room Good Shower Friendly Staff
No information on what time breakfast is served. No instructions on Telephone usage so didn't know what to press to call Reception or another room. No instructions for the TV.
every think i have enjoyed there
Car park charge, customer service
We paid for our room on arrival. We then paid for our evening meal in the restaurant. When checking out, there was another charge to our room that wasn't ours (two meals & drinks). While I accept mistakes happen, it was down to us to prove it wasn't ours and had to provide the receipt from our meal. So someone managed to get a free evening meal. Also, the breakfast cold buffet was laughable. Won't be going back.
location perfect for NEC only 10 mins to halls. Room spacious, bar comfy, restaurant basic but adequate. Service very friendly.
Bar closed due to lack of staff. Bottle of shampoo broken in shower.
£27 for a clean, fresh & modern room - raising the standard
My hangover the next day!
first impressions the hotel was very clean and the member of staff at the reception was very efficient The room was clean and well furnished and I was very pleased considering the fact that I took advantage of the Value Deal for the room. I was quite impressed with the breakfast.
My reason for staying overnight at the hotel was for a family funeral in the area. I did know the area very well so was a little surprised that the hotel in an industrial estate. As my say was only one night it was not a problem.
We like the kettle in the room. Very clean hotel
no signs from the train station to the hotel and we have to walk true a long corridor from the reception to the room. No wifi in the room.
Stayed here several times whilst visiting the NEC and its superb value for money and very close to the NEC.
Convenience being so close to NEC .
We have stayed here before on business & it was excellent so chose to come on pleasure but how the place has dropped! It was grubby, dinner & breakfast service extremely poor, staff seemed as tho they didn't understand or didn't care! Tiles/ grouting dirty& coming away, everything slightly grubby and needing overhaul. Bar man and receptionist were lovely. Such a shame as the visit before was excellent.
Helpfulness of the staff, easy walking access to NEC.
Being asked to pay fro breakfast when it was part of the package. However, staff sorted it out promptly.
Location to NEC. Room Rate - I'm so glad I didn't pay full price because I would have been so disappointed and not very happy. Decor and cleanliness was spot on.
No-one mentioned when I was checking out that I needed a code to get out of car park. I had to drive back and go to front desk to request one. Only 1 plug worked in the room. Others were there but plugs wouldn't go into them. Only 2 pillows on bed and not very hard or filled enough. Couldn't pull duvet far enough up the bed, I'm small so slid down. Nothing to say how to work TV and what programs were available. Rooms were quite small.
breakfast was value for money and the service was very good
Bigger double bed would be nice
Easy 10 minute walk to LG Arena. Great value for money. Surprisingly spacious and comfy room with lovely walk-in shower.
Sat Nav got a little confused in taking us to hotel. Uncomfortable sofa in bedroom. Long walk from lift to room.
The location was fabulous. Booked because I was going to LG arena and this hotel wax within walking distance. Rooms were brilliant. Would definitely recommend.
with the hotel being only 0.4 mile from the LG arena, it took my wife and I just 10 minutes to walk.the staff were very helpful in telling us the best way. thank you Ramada
like most hotels, its a shame we were being charged for parking, even though we stayed there. also we would have liked wardrobes and drawers to put our clothes away properly. but we will come back.
Easy to get to and nice location.
Two of staying in one room, but given family room. Bed's are doubles and for someone who is 6ft was not given option to upgrade to king size. Compact room. No other facilities, not even an iron in your room.
Good value hotel, with friendly staff. Good location for what I needed. The heater in the room was easy to control. The walk in shower was very good.
The lighting in the room was poor, I had difficulty putting my make up on! I think the car park should be free.
ideal for the above as within walking distance.the hotel itself was certainly adequate for our needs.
