good clean accommodation, great for Airport
Loved the size of the room and facilities of room, very very clean bathroom was spotless, very friendly staff and easy access round all of hotel. very relaxing feel to the place. Value for money on the room
the wifi was not too good - several attempts to get on to it as a lot of the codes didnt work, when on kept crashing - but that was a minor thing really. The cost of drinks was pretty high and also breakfast in the morning was very costly especially as nothing was actually open in the NEC for food. Also felt that the cost of the carpark was a disgrace especially as you could actually park in the NEC for free. So even though the room is cheap they make their money back in other ways
TV not working, not plugged into power or signal, few channels on TV
Close to Birmingham airport. Very helpful staff.
Wifi only available in public areas
Location from airport 3mins
Reception staff and bar and restaurant staff were all lovely..friendly
The bed in my room 137 was the worst bed I have ever slept on...so bad that 2 days later I still feel sore....and then on our check out day we over heard cleaning staff outside saying "I'm not doing that room, that's the poo room"...not really the thing you want to hear...
Location excellent for the NEC staff were friendly and accommodating good value for money (apart from bar n food prices)
Prices were quite high for drinks and food the mattress on bed quite hard and don't look under the beds as they are not cleaned a lot of dust and bits of rubbish also didn't like the fact you had to pay an extra £7.50 for parking your car
Everything was easy & location perfect.
Bed small for 2 adults.
Location, value (but I was on a cheap deal - not sure what the normal price is). Rooms fairly modern and well equipped.
Lighting could do with being a bit brighter in the room
Friendliness, cost excellent ,early call & taxi service very efficient
Brilliant location for NEC
Convenient. Staff. Buffet breakfast is great. Location
Beds were very hard
Reception workers make mistakes.
location for venue I was attending, & cost.
the noise from outside the room i.e. traffic
It was only £27 for the night, and got fantastic value for money! A group of us stayed to support a friend in Open Mic UK at the NEC. The price made it very easy for us all to afford to go.
In all the hotels we have stayed in all over the world we have never been charged to park our car during our stay we found this unbelievable because of this charge we will not return to this hotel and I will not book any Ramada for my employees to stay in future it has left a sour taste I know that it is not the end of the world but I do not expect to pay to park my car during my stay.
Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Good location for airport and the price was fair.
Internet access is free but only available in the lobby/hub area. Not great for a business travellers who need to be connected. Mobile reception was bad so double hustle. Why would you not have wifi to room!!
Breakfast was good, room was clean and perfectly nice and the price was excellent value
Wifi was useless No bath but the shower was good.
Had a great night's sleep in a comfortable bed. Spacious room with walk in shower. Good to have tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryer.
Lack of signage coming from NEC entrance.
It is good value and staff excellent.
Everything great, except pillows which just needed replacing as thin, lumpy. I am sure the staff would have replaced had I asked but just didnt think to ask.....so no biggie just observation. Wi Fi did not work in room..
Friendly colourful and everything I needed
Noise from main road kept me awake. Not a very good sleep
The staff were very helpful and friendly
The room was cold with poor maintenance. The TV was of poor quality, one bedside lamp did not have a bulb and the other was hanging from loose wires. The grouting on the shower floor was missing in places
Price of drinks!
WiFi only available in the Lobby or Bar. Why not in the rooms too. Most who will stay are business travellers so WiFi is important.
