The breakfast was set out very well. There was plenty of choice and it was very good quality. Enjoyed every mouthful !
Sofa in room was very uncomfortable
Easy access to shops and restaurants no real need for taxis
Location was good Staff were brilliant Good atmosphere at the bar Rooms were clean
Beds were squeaky Beds weren't made properly (sheets not tucked under) Toilet roll was terrible (Spotted it on the cleaners trolley - Sainsbury's Basics!!) Shower pressure wasn't great No air con or heating - tiny dimplex heater on the wall then too hot when 2 girls are having showers & using hair dryers Quite noisy - this hotel seems popular with stag/hen parties
Our third stay at the ramada which suits us very well to visit the Sage and stay over. Each stay has provided us with exactly what we need giving value for money. We have felt comfortable and knowing we can also eat there and sit an have a drink on return from a concert is good. Staff have consistently been very pleasant and helpful. Definitely stay again.
Can honestly say from our experience no negative comments to make.
Friendly and helpful reception staff. Clean and modern bedroom.
Car park that is not big enough. Getting a parking ticket from the nearest pay and display car park I had to use after arriving to an overfilled car park even though I had prepaid for a space.
Although a large group of young men were staying at the hotel we were not disturbed by noise soundproofing good. Excellent overnight car park for £5 a day saw car from room. Quayside bus No 1 every 10 minutes into town. We went to The Sage to see a show 250 yards Baltic and Millenium Bridge 350 Yards ,
Great location if you are visiting the Sage
Grim view from dining room window
Well located, good bus service, friendly helpful staff who I noticed clearly worked hard to respond to a customers
Crockery at breakfast wasnt very clean... had to hunt out new cup & bowl. Well located for Quayside & Big Market pubs if thats not your plan a different hotel may be better at the weekend, until Thursday its fine. We knew this when we booked so it was ok.
Wifi being free Location Parking Room size
Low wifi speed Paying for parking Internal noise Poor sofa comfort Low shower pressure
Friendly staff. Bar was open late. Big room with excellent bed.
Everything was good except the car park. Half of it is on very rough unsurfaced ground. Plenty of spaces though.
CAR PARKING,ROOM SIZE
The staff are friendly and courteous. The facilities are new and comfortable especially the bed.
The shower cabin is not comfortable and not well enclosed. Waste water does not drain properly while taking bath and flows to the toilet and room.
Nice hotel good size rooms, good location easy walk into town.
Window would not open
Close to Sage and Baltic Center also close to the foot bridge and the historical attractions of Newcastle, Floor in the room is laminate High cleaning standard. Nice common areas and restaurant menu and food quality is good.
Expect to have to adjust to traffic and human noise from street level. Bring a travel clock, wake up call failed. Basic room amenities, but not all bad from a cost saving and environment protection perspective.
Very clean Good breakfast We had a very good meal on Sunday night
Every thing staff extremely helpful
Good value for money and free secure parking
Comfortable warm good views of the river .easy bus access to newcastle City centre and Metro centre
Surrounding derelict buildings
Love the big bed the comfort the walk in shower
The cost of breakfast and I seemed to have used up my wifi allowance very strange
Room was very clean and comfortable, staff were freindly
No bath, wish I had known this before I booked. Also I couldn't connect to the free wifi, I'm sure a call to reception would have fixed it but it was 11pm and I was tired. I just expect these things to work.
price and helpful staff lovely chips
Good service, cheap parking, room was a decent size.
Good value considering it was a last minute booking.
The bathroom smelt of cigarettes. Couldn't work out why, but it was rather ofputting when showering.
