Value, overall condition of hotel
Ironing facility is bad. needed to iron business shirts and ironing board marked my shirt as cover was worn and wafer thin so metal frame also marked shirt. one of the worst I have come across yet so easy to get right
The friendly staff. The lovely breakfast. Clean room Very quiet
No view apart from a brick wall. A bit too warm
The staff are excellent in this hotel - there's a real buzz about them, young but professional & very keen to help. Special thanks to the Restaurant staff & also Toni & Rik on reception. Exceptional service - well done & thanks. Room 518 28th Oct 2014
location ideal five minutes walk over the millennium bridge for all restaurants and bars and shops
you do not have ward rodes frist time I every came across this and no ironing broad in the room
Short walk to the quayside..comfy bed..great car parking. I always enjoy my stay here.
Accommodation was lovely and comfortable
Breakfast was poor
Facilities were excellent with staff very helpful and friendly. Room.was equipped.with everything you need for a short stay.
Laminate flooring, mattress was quite soft.
Good clean hotel - down side was only one hand and one bath towel provided, a request for more was not honoured. That apart it was a pleasant enough hotel
Not enough towels
Should be no charge for parking if staying in the hotel
Value, car parking
We had a lovely King size double room. Clean and comfortable. No air conditioning so summer might be a bit hot but October was okay.
We weren't affected too badly but our fellow guests were woken at 2am by the police evicting some rowdy Stag party attendees.
Mis-leading menu with higher priced dishes not using stated ingredients (loin of cod)
Lovel kingside bed, excellent shower, and great food. Staff lovely and very efficient.
We had an awesome time in the hotel. The location was the best.
Little hot in the room. No heating on.
Staff really friendly
Not sure about the wooden floors
Rooms were lovely and the reception staff were excellent!
Being interrogated on the return to the hotel! There was 4 of us and we had two rooms booked yet the 'bouncers' felt the need to question the men separately from the women! Made the hotel feel more like a dive nightclub than a nice hotel!
Reception staff were friendly, great location in Gateshead - close to the bridge, comfy beds and good sized rooms and bathroom, both very clean.
There was no car parking spaces when we arrived and had to go inside and ask where to park...only £5 though!
The staff we're lovely we was we'll looked after by one of the staff named James he made sure we had a good night and a safe journey and everythink we needed.
THE BED AND THE CLEANLINESS
The staff were so friendly and very keen to help, I fancied a walk out and the staff gave me directions and suggestions of a place to eat that was amazing .. A huge thank you to everyone ...
I have no complaints..
Location ideal if you don't want to be in the heart of the city but only five minutes walk over the millennium bridge from all the bars and restaurants and attractions.
Large comfy bed
Lighting could have been better in the room
The staff were friendly, but very little knowledge of Gateshead and its surroundings due to them living the opposite side of the water. .... Newcastle!
We stayed in a twin room, very small beds and very uncomfortable due mainly from the beds moving on the sticky laminate flooring resulting in pillows falling down the back. Our room was very narrow and compacted, located roadside, by 6am you could have been sleeping on the hard shoulder. .. noise. Breakfast continental fine.. full English extremely greasy. Check out having paid on arrival. Asked for payment again. Very poor value for a one night of £99...
STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT
