staff quiet comfy cleanliness
wifi didnt work in room
easy access to nearby area
bath tube and toilet not clean, I can see some hair clearly because there were white background.
The room was quiet and comfortable. The staff were helpful.
Signs to Ramada from the entrance to the services could be clearer. I went round the car park twice!
short distance from oxford , bus stop across the road and 20 minute ride to centre of city. easy to find from motorway. clean good size room. not noisy even as it is situated on a motorway services.would use it again.
work going on putting new entrance outside our room was noisy from around 6am first morning but after speaking to staff the second morning was much quieter.
The room itself was so comfortable I didn't want to leave. Spotlessy clean too. I liked the fact it was close to a shop and food-outlet. Also,Ramada was close for the bus stop had we wanted to explore Oxford itself. The perfect hotel for a relaxed weekend
Would have liked a decent bar area!
No air conditioning, firm beds, room dated
Cleanliness and location
Noisy room right next to reception when specifically requested 'quiet please' Very noisy when drawers? pushed into bedroom wall from office! No indication that name had changed from Days Inn to Ramada - difficult when arriving at night and 1st visit.
Hotel was ok for price, was in process of being refurbished so some of the corridors we a little untidy.
The hotel was a building site, no indication of this was mentioned in the ad.. My shower did not work, Room 26, i was moved to room 16..
Reasonably priced. Many eateries at Welcome Break - Subway, Burger King, KFC, Papa John's Pizza, Starbucks, Harry Ramsden's. Clean and comfortable room. Free onsite parking
Bed was comfortable and clean room, bedding and towels.
Parking and limited breakfast facilities. We booked an executive room was initially given a 3 bedded with no chairs just a small table, down a corridor where decorating was taking place with lots of empty dusty rooms. No ironing facilities and desk as expected in the 3 bedded. After mentioning this we were moved to an executive room as booked.
Was clean and nice. And bus 280 stopped on the roundabout so was quick and easy to get to Oxford.
Shower was scalding hot, could not get cold water to come on. No one available to fix it.
The prize-location relation.
Alex, the woman that is in reception at night time, she was really really rude with us, I don't know how to speak English properly but I was trying to do my best and I don't think that my English is as bad as she had to address to me and my family in that way. The continental breakfast is really bad
Newly refurbished room very comfortable. Free parking and convenient for Oxford.
There was a strong smell of drains in the reception area. WiFi didn't work in our room.
Lack of sleep due to heat, no air-conditioning or even a fan... Hotel was undergoing renovation - was frequently awoken by power tools at 3am...
Not being told it is undergoing a refurbishment, Work men all over the building
The staff were very friendly and helpful we stayed for 6 nights and by the end of the stay we were all friends
The wi fi was not available in all rooms as stated but this was because of the refurbishment and access to my room although was always possible was like a building site with all the work going on I wish we had been told this before we checked in
Good clean room, comfortable bed, good bathroom. TV worked well, facilities for tea & coffee good.
Temperature in room was far too high, with no way to reduce it that I found. Also problems with closing the window.
Easy to Fi.d
Location, bedrooms and general ambience.
NO wi-fi and no cold water in taps! (To be fair, building only just refurbished that week so probably teething problems!)
Easy book in. Clean room with good facilities. Location is convenient for where I work.
Very poor signal. No micro wave and was then told there was one in the Welcome Break Centre when there wasn't. Having to follow the path away from the entrance to cut back to where most cars are parked. I saw a number if people accessing their vehicle via the side of the flower bed in front of the entrance. More gluten free food options in the WB centre. Without there being a micro wave I found it difficult to find something to eat.
Mamud was very apologetic and tried hard to make up for Carolines lack of customer service
staff - Caroline appalling rudeness lack of facilities the hotel was a work in progress
The room was very spacious nice big comfy Bed
Shower was very weak and the room was far too hot we didn't get much sleep
The room was clean and tidy
The place was in the middle of being refurbished and we were in a room in the middle of this taking place. There were wires hanging from the ceiling as you walked through the corridor there wasn't any lighting is these particular areas certainly a health/danger hazard. The corridor was very dusty and the ceiling tiles were moved to one side so they weren't safe either. The bedroom was very small, you could feel the springs in the mattress, curtains hanging off the rail on the one side the sliding bathroom door was difficult to close and plus there was no phone in the room if you needed to get in touch with reception. When you pay £88 for a room you expect something alot better and plus they should not have people staying in the rooms that are in the middle of all the changes that are taking place. It should have been advertised on the website that changes were taking place at the hotel and to be made aware so that you can decide before booking if you want to be staying in the middle a building site!
Very modern room, comfortable. Staff very good,
Unfortunately due to newness of room, noise from ongoing workmen all night not good. Spoilt a comfortable stay.
