Convenient location for a trip into London being straight off the M40. Room clean and tidy and check in straightforward. Services mean food and drink is easy. Internet ok
Only 2 pillows on the double bed. If there had been 2 people i wouldnt have liked one pillow only - minor detail!
Very easy to locate quick service as new look to rooms very clean
poor path way to hotel poor desigh and slippery. No existant one to bus stops had to walk in busy roads and through carpark. Stone floor in bar area echoed could here people walking in and out all night.
After staying here before when it was Days Inn, I was hopeful. Got caught in air traffic glict so didn't arrive till 2.30am. Our room was at very far end of corridor and we had to make our way past dirty carpets and beds left in hallway. At 9am we were woken up by workman striping out the opposite bedroom. The corridor was like a war zone. Reception not interested. Terrible stay in a very basic room in an organisation that doesn't give a toss. Lovely
Welcoming staff,clean room
Clean lines of deco
Room 114 not well arranged.
Rooms were a good size and plenty of wardrobe space for short stays. Towels and bedlinen were of good quality. Staff very nice and friendly.
The price of the breakfast at nearly £10.00 was far too expensive.
the staff were superb and more than helpful, it was very comfortable and warm, for motorway service hotel a very nice surprise. breakfast was great
It was cheap and close to my event
Smelt of paint and the room was freezing. They don't seem to have any way to know whether a room is vacant other than knocking and immediately opening the door no Do Not Disturb signs either.
Easy access to oxford
No toilet brush. Booking dot com states private parking (not so)
The room was very clean
However the room was freezing on arrival which was very unwelcoming after a long journey. Pillows very uncomfortable and the breakfast and coffee were cold and we wouldn't pay extra for it again.
The carpet in the bed room was full of paint markes and gersly derty I have flat tolet and would not have let a flat in that condition
Warm, comfortable and clean
Parking facilities because located in busy motorway services. No lift.
Quiet and clean room Nice beds Good tv Breakfast good value with 2 kids eating for free
Welcome from staff. Good clean comfortable room Breakfast - excellent value! Easy access to motorway
Room a little noisy being so close to the motorway BUT it was only to be expected
Immediately adjacent to the M40 but without any noise from it
Only the usual motorway service area eating facilities easily available
I booked this on-line - when i arrived they did not have a room !!!! Said i had not booked , i showed the grumpy receptionist my booking papers It was late at night and she said all they had was a smoking room left which stank ! They did after complaining find a room that was just OK
Conveniently located with Waitrose and other service station amenities. Cheapest hotel in Oxfordshire at the time of booking.
shower was luke warm
Spacious bedroom and en suite. Helpful staff. Bus from outside service station into Oxford city centre every 20 mins. Quiet despite being next to sevice station and free parking.
Out of the city but on a good bus route to the centre of town.
The hotel had changed its name since we booked which made it difficult to find. It would have been nice to be advised of this.
The WI FI. The Parking. the Cleanness.
the absence of sofa and the presence of single bed instead of the sofa. The size of the TV
I appreciated the fact next door, there is a convienient shop, and also somewhere to grab a bite to eat,at a reasonable price.
The fact my room faced the M40...The noise of traffic disturbed my sleep! Also the folk up above were rather noisey...!
location off M40
Had to wait 15 mins for someone to actually check us in at reception, receptionist arrived with a mug of coffee. Booked a double deluxe room... Not very deluxe. A horrendous smell of sewerage took over our room & outside. It was so bad it actually kept me awake most of the night
The highlight of my stay was the staff and in particular Caroline! I had an issue with my room and she resolved it straight away, very good customer care!
Room 17 the window could not be closed! HK should have picked on that and also the spot light in the bathroom wasn't on (one of them) meant I had to lean forward very close to the mirror to be able the shave properly, very important for a business guest.
Great staff and facilities!
TV could be a few more inches bigger.
