Mamud was very apologetic and tried hard to make up for Carolines lack of customer service
staff - Caroline appalling rudeness lack of facilities the hotel was a work in progress
The room was very spacious nice big comfy Bed
Shower was very weak and the room was far too hot we didn't get much sleep
Very modern room, comfortable. Staff very good,
Unfortunately due to newness of room, noise from ongoing workmen all night not good. Spoilt a comfortable stay.
Clean, comfortable rooms, helpful staff, reasonable prices. Facilities of the service area were useful.
Poor directions on arrival. Hotel needs to be much more clearly signposted. Limited range of choice at the bar, and lack of kitchen facilities. We were informed that improvements in this area are in progress. That would make a big difference.
The staff were not plesent ... Fire alarm went off at 10 in the morning no one told us what was goin on... They did not no how to turn it off .. It was on for abt a hour before eventually the fire brigade came to sort it out ... Definitely the staff should b re trained
All disused items, wheel barrow ,metal roller ,cardboard ,old table and chairs outside our window.path way outside our window that workmen used ,so could not open ,allso could not walk up path on way out had to climb up bank ,as wormed were cutting through slabs ! And to much dust
Pleasant staff, comfortable room, agreeable décor, well appointed bathroom. Very good value for money.
Troublesome electricity card switch. Absence of functioning restaurant in the hotel itself. The fact that the breakfast card for Harry Ramsden's restaurant in the main service location purchased from the hotel reception cost more than the same meal purchased at Harry Ramsden's restaurant itself.
the rooms were nice and clean looks like all the hotel is being refurbished, handy being next to the services as there was no food available in the hotel when we got there
There were doors constantly slamming all night people chatting in corridors until 4/5am Woken with a fire alarm had to evacuate no communication from anyone. No wifi and no phone signal so a hard stay
The staff were helpful
Lots of building work going on, noisy and the rooms are very basic
Cleanliness, check-in procedure was efficient, proximity of Welcome Break, ease of book-in process
Lack of micro wave that was available the previous week so food I had brought with me couldn't be heated. I am gluten intolerant so have to follow a gluten free diet hence me bringing food with me. The food outlets in the WELCOME break do not cater for gluten intolerants/celiacs. Poor mobile signal.
The new wing to the hotel was exeptionally nice, new rooms, much bigger and much fresher
Clean and fresh with a comfortable bed.
No wifi in our room
Cleanliness Convenience Comfortj
Shower cubicle slightly too small
Location good and very quiet despite being on a services complex. Just opened or renovated so everything brand new. Good space for two friends.
Positioning of hair dryer not good and may break in time. Would of liked ironing facility but didn't ask reception so may be available. Some of the detail such as switch for bathroom lights a bit odd and gap on top of wardrobe is a dust trap potentially.
No mobile signal and internet connection inside the rooms on the ground floor even if outside I had full signal and 3G.
Helpful and friendly staff.Tea and coffe facilities
Bed was uncomfortable, seal around bath was patched up and in a poor state of repair. Room looked tired.
Reasonably priced and close to food outlets and groceries.
No lift; worn mattress; hotel needs refurbishing.
Room and services
Quite noisy and network signal is poor
The staff were helpful, polite and included my children in the conversation making them feel great. The room was clean and tidy and for a family room plenty of space. I worried that because our room faced the car park we wouldn't get any sleep, we left the window open but it was fine and we all slept. We didn't eat at any of the service facilities but the area there was clean and inviting too.
The toilet overflow dripping into the bath continually, the occasional horrible smell coming up through the sink and the sink water didn't drain away very quickly. BUT none of this would put me off from staying again because these things can happen to all of us in our own homes sometimes.
The room was clean with a comfortable bed. TV worked, tea and coffee facilities and hot water in the shower. All good for an overnight stay.
Unfortunately the corridors were very hot and therefore the room itself was a bit too warm even though the window was open.
Great room in the new section. Staff were very helpful
On arrival, difficult to find the entrance and where to park. Just head for Waitrose and park near by.
1. room was clean 2. enough space for family 3.wifi free 4. shops near by 5.staff was friendly and nice
1. was put in a room downstairs where there was building work being done 2. could not open window as men outside as building work 3. too warm
The location was very convenient. Tea & coffee facilities were excellent, staff were helpful and the room was a good size, clean and tidy.
The mattresses were very hard and uncomfortable and it was quite noisy with other guests walking around inside the hotel. No facilities for children to amuse themselves.
The shower and that the room was clean
the fact that we were woken at 7.30am by the builders drilling, I emailed a complaint yesterday morning, but am still to have a response - on the whole not good !!!!
Value for money Clean room Lovely services area
Noise from residents above us kept us all awake - lots of jumping up and down off bed and loud thuds. Very irritating
