The beautiful view from tne room. The spacious room. The convenience of being next to the floral hall where the lectures were held. The restaurant was not very well organised during busy periods. The lifts were very slow when lots of guests had to be at a meeting for a certain time. The meeting was actually delayed because of the lift situation. |

Room noisy-overlooking pub which had live music until early hours of morning. At checkout, no one asked us if everything had been OK Room described as overlooking promenade- in fact, looking over rear of hotel- maybe this should be made clearer |

The underground car park was spacious. The rooms were well fitted and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a good range of foods. The dining area was very pleasant. We were never asked if we intended to have breakfast or if we wanted to book a time. When we turned up the waiter seemed surprised we were having breakfast, and when we asked to put the cost onto to our room bill, he said it was not possible and we had to pay before we could eat. |

It was clean, comfortable and had great views. Concerned about security. Anyone could access the bedrooms withouth the hotel staff being aware of it. |

The staff were very helpful and the bed was very comfortable. The location of the hotel was excellent. The food wasn't very good and the running of the bar was abyssmal. They ran out of everything knowing there was a local convention taking place and they had a wedding party staying there. |

The friendly staff made our stay pleasant. The location of the hotel is superb, as it is a 5 minute walk to the shopping and Southports splendid Victorian arcades. The hotel is also close to the Ainsdale / Formby nature reserve, and the glorious sand dunes, which is ideal for families. There were teething problems with room service, meaning that the hot plate became cool owing to the fact that insufficient cutlery was provided. Additionally, we had to wait over 45 minutes for 'home-made burgers'. |
