Layout,decor,facilities,staff we dealt with.
Service whilst eating in the bar including being ignored whilst waiting to pay. Gave up after 5+ minutes and reported to hotel reception (who sorted it swiftly).
for us the only down side was in the bar waiting for the waiter to bring a menue, in the end I went and got the mune myself
Nice big room food pool
The Indian cuisine there is amazing
Upon check-in we were not informed that the restaurant would be shut that evening, we did not leave a credit card at the desk so after we had ordered room service and the food was brought to our room they finally realised they needed payment and asked us to go to the restaurant to pay - which was fine, but 1 minute after I received my food? And I thought the restaurant was closed? I wasn't impressed. Then when we checked out we were asked how we enjoyed everything, with an unenthusiastic "fine", it was left at that. No further questions or attempts at small talk. Hotel itself was quite nice, but I think the staff need to work a little more on their customer service and communication
Location was good.
Breakfast wasn't included in my rate, which was pricy enough. The room was cold and I was unable to sort out A/C. The shower pressure was poor also. On reflection, a Premier Inn may have sufficed at half the price.
Pool, sauna, car park, location (good to access town on bicycle)
Rooms comfortable and spacious. Excellent location for accessing many areas of Belfast quickly and easily
The main restaurant is almost indistinguishable from the bar bistro downstairs. No table linen, no water provided without asking and the food is ghastly. Huge, stodgy portions, no subtlety at all. The barman never heard of a Campari Soda and didn't know how to mix one. I had to show him the Campari bottle on his own bar. The arrangements for using the pool are Fawltyesque! You have to queue up at reception to get a towel - a real nuisance when the staff are dealing with the check-in/out queue. But worse is when you get to the changing room and discover you cannot use a locker without going back out to reception again and queuing to get a combination padlock. They don't tell you when you collect the towel that you also need a padlock! This is utterly daft. It wasted so much time I had to give up on using the pool. What century are these people in??
The beds were so comfortable and place was so clean.food was worth money.
Didn't like price of breakfast so we had go else were and phones didn't work in the room.other than that was good.
Food and room excellent
They said their system was down and tried to move us to another hotel even though our young daughter was part of a team staying at the hotel. Cousins of my wife visited us at the hotel and even though we offered to clean the table ourselves, the lady behind the bar insisted she would clean it - she didn't
Staff in Resteraunt were friendly
Booked on bookings.com picked deal breakfast included in price but when I got there was told it wasn't, room was like an oven, air conditioning didn't work just made room warmer, WiFi was worst ever slow is an understatement the noise from people outside smoking was ridiculous plus whatever function was on the doors were open and could hear the music all night our room was over front car park the noise was a pain, the cleaner was banging on our door way to early each morning and the 11am check out time on a Sunday was a joke its not a hotel for a romantic weekend way over priced wont visit again
Good all round standard.
Noisy fan in the room.
Hotel was great staff st brekie lovely just had bad experience wth girl on duty on evening shift had a pounding headache asked if she had a paracetamol sais no company policy not a prob understood but her attitude un helpful had to drive to find a supermarket wth my son wth pounding headach and when got back saw me walk in did not ask was I sorted ruined my vision of this hotel a bit of kindness goes a long way bernie lloyd
everything except that receptionist
Menu in bistro
Lovely big beds, good job to cause I booked a family room for four only had single bed a super king bed
Swim time for the pool the girls couldn't go because morning were for adults. Booking out time are earlier then any other hotel. The shower in the bedroom didn't work either
Room was very comfortable and decor was good. Plenty of space for us all. Breakfast was excellent and had great choices. Staff very friendly and efficient. Asked for a camp bed in our room and it was dealt with immediately.
Didn't like the bar area. The room was cold, very sparse and there was no atmosphere in the place. Felt it lacked comfort so we only stayed for the one drink.
Room was nice. Very good playroom for children. Plenty of parking. The staff were nice and friendly.
A bit too far from the city centre. No kiddies pool. Price of the breakfasts is astronomical.
Some staff were very helpful polite and friendly and the bar area was very welcoming The taxi facility was very good
The hotel put the price up on arrival due to a technical issue despite my confirmation of booking The deluxe king suite was not deluxe and it was over priced Ordered a coffee in the lounge area but after waiting half an hour the coffee did not arrive The hotel was not situated as close to the centre as I was led to believe Had to report a fault with the bath plug which wasn't fixed prior to our departure
The staff are friendly and helpful
The choice of food in the bar was poor. Don't like carvery at night and vegetarian options were very uninteresting.
Food and drink good value. Staff were so friendly.
WiFi did not work in the bedroom and the following morning the TV had no signal
-Comfortable bed -friendly staff -good choice at breakfast but coffee was dreadful and cold. -Gym was ok. -Staff informative when asked and helpful. - check out meant to be 11am but allowed us an extra hour, majority of hotels are 12pm for higher star rating.
-Stopper in bath had no chain to drain water out so had to leave overnight. -Cost a fortune over a Fri to a Monday getting taxi to and fro from hotel. -Coffee extremely strong and cold but cappuccino machine made up for lack of it! -Location misleading as aparantley there are two Ramada hotels in Belfast. -Toilet dirty on bowl inside, could see from being in bath. -Poor quality toilet paper, like sand paper for a 4 star hotel rating. - poor quality jacuzzi facility, was looking forward to a pool with more depth in it. - hygiene of steam room stank.
Friendly staff and good facilities
We enjoyed every bite of our dinner in restaurant! Was surprised of children's menu with pictures to colour. Room was very comfortable, same as king size bed :)
Staff looked a little bit arrogant when asked did we enjoyed the stay..
Breakfast was tasty and satisfying. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very clean hotel and the shower was great. Great location especially if driving.
Bed was 1* or 2* standard. Felt that for the price of the room this was a major let down and would not stay here again based on this alone. Wifi was poor also. No non slip mat in bath.
