The staff were very attentive and polite. The room was 1st class and breakfast was excellent. As we were catching an early ferry we asked if the we could have a cooked breakfast 15 minutes earlier than the listed 7am. Typical of all the staff we enconted nothing was too much trouble and an excellent breakfast was served. Highly recomended hotel.

Really lovely hotel, pity we coulldn't use the main restaurant because of a function in there, but had dinner in the suite along the corridor which was delicious. Quality and presentation was excellent. Only stayed 1 night on the way to France, and would definitely stay there again

Comfortable rooms and beds, location perfect for us to catch our ferry early in the morning This is our second visit due to the positive comments above, we were however very disappointed that a staff party was taking place outside our room and therefore we were not able to sleep as early as we had planned (the main reason for us staying there) We did change room but it was still fairly loud. A very great shame as we were hoping to use the hotel in future.

Very friendly welcome from very helpful and efficient staff. We were caught in traffic on the way to hotel and on ringing ahead to explain we would be arriving were put completely at ease by the receptionist. Would highly recommend your hotel to our friends and family. How could anyone have complaints?!!!

Good facilities and situated just a few miles from Dover ferry terminal - so an excellent stop-over location. Small but immaculately-presented rooms and very efficient and friendly staff.

The food was atrociously expensive. Good food was ruined by experiments in exotic treatment. The pork belly menu was uneatable as it was so tough. The two j2o drinks cost £7 whereas at a Wetherspoon restaurant they ony cost £1.75 each. Continental breakfast were £1.95 which was disgracefully exorbitant. We only stayed at the hotel as we were p- leased with it a couple of years ago but it has obviously changed hands for the worse

Design. Function. Cleanliness. Large rooms. Attentive restaurant staff. Food. Hotel restaurant attempts to offer a fine dining experience with apparently no options for simpler food choices. We had booked a table in the restaurant in advance but after a day travelling, we would have liked more choice of simpler, more homely food. The spice night offered some good Indian food. However, the Tournedos Rossini didn't justify the money; wasn't a big chunk of fillet steak wrapped in bacon and was disappointing. Some difficulty communicating in English at reception and the bill wasn't right.

We were welcomed in a friendly polite helpful way and the hotel is a lovely place to be. We had travelled on a long journey from Snowdonia where we live and needed to relax and recuperate.

Bed was comfortable I think it would be fair to say that when I booked a room at the Ramada Dover I was fairly excited. Having frequented Ramada hotels in the past and always found them to be top notch, the opportunity of booking my accommodation at a reduced price from £80 + offered at £32.50 seemed a real steal .....so I booked two nights. The hotel itself was clean and the staff pleasant – the room we had was very small and the bathroom had mildew in it, smelled of damp and had mould on the door with the bottom of the door rotting away. The food was good but expensive, and you were very much a captive audience. The only really good thing was that the bed was comfortable. I could not stand being confined for more than one night so I left early. The saying you only get what you pay for rings true. I did not complain at the time as £32.20 is not alot, but if I had paid the full price I would have been extremely annoyed. My opinion of the Ramada chain has now gone down and I would hesitate before I booked with them again.
