Conveniently located, Premier Inn Dover Central (Eastern Ferry Terminal) is in close proximity to the cruise and ferry terminals and just a short walk to Dover town center and Dover Castle.
Score from 982 reviews Excellent
This 4-star hotel is just a 10 minute walk from Dover’s port, and a 5 minute walk from the center. It offers tours of Dover, charming Regency decor, and many rooms with picturesque waterfront views.
Score from 649 reviews Good

Score from 415 reviews Very good
the restaurant was excellent, very good three course meal. attentive staff and found no faults.
room was clean but tired. bed was awful, walls were so thin we heard every word from people in room next door. ( no hotels fault but they giggled and giggled and got louder and louder as the night/morning went on) reception did make efforts for us to quieten but we got no sleep whatsoever. on leaving, we were not asked if satisfied with our stay- I wonder why?hmmm
Lovely room, excellent receptionist, good breakfast
Second time here as so convenient for ferry trip home to France. Bar food good and reasonably priced.
Bathroom tiny, and this was in an executive room but as only for 1 night was ok.
Breakfast hot and ready each morning, helpful staff.
All friendliness of staff
Very pleasant staff.
The food in bother the restaurant and bar were very good quality and excellent choice.
The rooms are starting to look outdated and could do with a refit.
Nice room well equipped bathroom. facilities throughout hotel good.
appreciate it was Christmas and skeleton staffing but consequent very poor service from untrained short term staff meant waiting excessive time for food and mis-ordered. brought sandwich with onions. sent back as allergic new one made but with onion flavoured crisps along side. Given a time for breakfast (included) but hot breakfast not available for another hour and had a Ferry to catch. therefore generally disappointed.
Friendly, efficient staff
An extra blanket would have been cosy.
Brilliant and value for money we always stay at the Ramada when we go to Dover
Can not think of anything we didn't like all positive
This hotel promotes itself as businessman's hotel, however caters wonderfully for the travelling market, it is wonderfully located outside Dover in a quiet location, with such ease of getting to the Ferry port, it even has a free newspaper at 0630 on sunday morning.
Ramada group need to give this wonderful hotel some TLC as it is beginning to get tired in some of its fittings and fixtures. But donot let that put you off it is wonderful for the travelling community.
Restaurant and ease of parking
Having free wifi in the reception to book our room online for £43.50 instead of paying £65 as asked for by the receptionist in the hotel . We had a lovely bathtub instead of the usual shower. Tea and coffee facilities, free parking and free wifi was excellent.
We specifically requested a quiet room, yet we were put into a room with a noisy motorway out the front, we could hear everyone coming and going in the car park which was just outside our window and the walls were paper thin!!! we listened to our road working neighbours next door alarm call at 3.30 am, then the news channels word for word for about an hour, then they finally left for work with a crash of their door at 4.30am, why offer a request if you don't intend to listen to it, even though the hotel was almost empty. It would have been nice to have two pillows each, the sink was blocked, the toilet roll holder was broken, the bathroom door wouldn't stay open without a towel wedged on the floor, seriously noisy extractor in bathroom plus we only had one large towel to share between us.
Comfortable place to stay, excellent food
Not too easy to locate
Overall an excellent stay.the service from the staff was also excellent especially the chef who was more than helpful. Food was good with a fair selection. Would stay there again.
Good location for exploring or in our case an early ferry from Dover. Room clean and tidy. Great breakfast selection and for the price a wise choice.
Didn't cause us a problem but the walls are very thin and you can hear almost everything!
Staff were great, very friendly especially the lady who checked me in ! Good location, rooms were very watm. Great place !
The matress was very soft...
Friendliness of staff. The chef at breakfast making eggs to order and even warming the croissants. The price for an executive room was cheaper than for a normal room in the town. Car parking with CCTV. Choice of excellent bar meals or fine restaurant.
No opportunity to have a hard/firm mattress. Walls a bit thin, I could hear children next door, but was not a serious problem.
Living in Germany and travelling regularly to Cornwall, I like to take an overnight break - and Ramada gave me the best one yet. Convenient, comfortable, excellent meal, relaxed for the next day's drive.
I had problems logging onto the WiFi, though I'm sure a member of staff would have helped if I'd asked, but I was already in my pyjamas! I was surprised that there was no fridge in the room.
Only needed basics was only there for 7 hours but Room freezing arrived at 11pm in December and window was open and there was no heating. Shower had zero power so basics lacking
Very good value for money via the website, very comfortable and spaceious room. Would recommand this hotel to all and we will be using it again when we visit the uk. Only 5-7 minutes to car ferry which is a big bonus when taking an early ferry. Thank you to the hotel and staff for an enjoyable last night in the uk.
small rooms but very comfortable and quiet. Very clean, helpful staff and great value for money would stay again
- Location close to folkerstone - Staff - Cleanliness and price
Good value for money in my case. Friendly staff. Big parking.
It's one of those old hotels with a strange architectural planning and stairs in the middle of the hallway (a ramp would have been useful for the luggage). The room was quite small for a double. WiFi required an email and a phone number to issue a code with which I could connect - seriously?!
Friendly and clean with comfortable bed
WiFi was very slow, streaming from sky go was frustrating
