Nice room, clean and comfortable. Good cooked breakfast. The room was in front of a Pub, so it was a bit noisy. |

Good location, friendly staff, good value. We were given a room to the rear of hotel as requested. Room was a bit chilly on arrival - did heat up once we got air conditioning on. Extra sheet/blanket would have been useful. |

Perfect location, clean, good value Although we requested twin rooms we were given a double with a sofa bed which we had to ask to be made up. (A group of ladies 50+ years old, i was wearing a sling - one staff member not happy about our request) |

Room and bathroom were very nice and spacious, hotel was very central so good location. Staff were friendly. Good continental breakfast. Our room was right next to the breakfast room so it was quite noisy. Also groups coming back to the hotel early hours of the morning (probably hen/stag weekends) were very noisy. |

I liked the helpfulness of the staff. They could not provide me with wifi internet or wired internet to my own pc. I was on a busines trip and this was crucial to my stay. |

Very close to shops and sights of York. Reception area very modern. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Rooms more basic than a Travelodge. Bed poor. Room near a stairway and very noisy. Wooden floors enabled us to hear breakfast room staff walking about from 6.30am |

The shower was nice and big, the room was sizable and the continental breakfast was decent. The lack of carpeting in the room made it very cold and noisy, not really that inviting but handy to the rail station. You could walk from the hotel. |

It was near to shops and all local tourist sites. situated near the train station. We didn't like being allocated a disabled room( when we're not diabled) The shower had a chair in that we couldn't move. The shower room floor tiles were dirty. It was situated next to the Priory night club so we had loud music til 3am, we complained to staff and were told the hotel was full so we couldn't move rooms. It definatley wasn't value for money @ £111.00. |

I was very dissatisfied that I could not get into my room before 3pm and there were no facilities to change for a wedding! I was also given the wrong room number when I was finally able to check-in and had an embarrasing situation where I tried to gain access to someone elses room at midnight! The staff were rude when I checked out too becauise I said I was not happy with my stay! I shall not be using a Ramada hotel again unless I am contacted to apologise about the hotel .......!! |

We travelled by train & chose this hotel for its close proximity to the rail station & the city centre. It did not offer evening meals. |
