We really liked the selection at breakfast. The bar relatively small but handy if you dont want to tackle the crowds in the pubs. Rooms very clean and ample for a family on a short stay. Laminate floor not a good idea...really could do with carpets. |

Great location was near all Yorks attractions and railway station. Clean comfortable room. We were woken in the early hours by a loud banging noise and shouting and swearing. Guests in the next room to us had been arguing and one of them was trying to kick the door down. This spoilt our overnight stay. Security were called and eventually the noise died down but we were very shaken by the incident. |

Good location, friendly staff, good value. We were given a room to the rear of hotel as requested. Room was a bit chilly on arrival - did heat up once we got air conditioning on. Extra sheet/blanket would have been useful. |

Good location, room clean and comfortable. Goob breakfast Have stayed at hotel for 3 years for christmas shopping this time problems with room selection given double when I asked for twin room was changed but was very noisy as on the side oppisite bars. |

Room and bathroom were very nice and spacious, hotel was very central so good location. Staff were friendly. Good continental breakfast. Our room was right next to the breakfast room so it was quite noisy. Also groups coming back to the hotel early hours of the morning (probably hen/stag weekends) were very noisy. |
