The hotel is located almost next to the airport, but there is a freeway in between with no pedestrian access. The shuttle runs once every 30 minutes and is not even free of charge! So, while seeing the hotel all the time just on the other side of the freeway, we waited a full half hour before the shuttle arrived to pick us up! After starting out like this, it was hard to enjoy the stay.

For us, a convenient location to stay prior to our flight out next day. Quick walk to the airport and the shuttle bus into Glasgow if you need to do a bit of last minute shopping. We had a hire vehicle to return to the airportso that was also convenient due to it's proximity.

Excellent location for Braehead Arena, we attended the Davis Cup tournament.Very good for shopping and the airport. The price we paid was £35 per room was excellent value. I would advise booking breakfast when making the reservation, it is £11.95 at hotel and £8 if booked with room. Overall very good. Not much to complain about other than the fact on the website it did not explain clearly that breakfast must be paid for with the booking of the room.

The Ramada is clean and hygienic partly due to the newness of the building It can be a bit more expensive than other competing hotels. Staff would benefit from being more customer friendly.

The rooms were clean and had everything you needed. The restaurant was great. Shuttle buses to the Glasgow airport. Heating in the room was very low and so the rooms were quite cold. No bathroom rug.

The morning staff and restaurant manager where very helpful Upon arrival it looked like we were made to feel like we were interupting the lady at reception, despite being the only people at the desk, once checked in we decided to have dinner in the restaurant and the lady who served us had a horrible attitude and again we were made to feel like we were a major inconvenience

Easy access - relatively quiet - clean and comfortable Breakfast was not as described - As much as can eat buffet style full Scottish Breakfast was actually 2 rashers of bacon, 1 sausage, 4 button mushrooms a tablespoon of beans and a tablespoon of scrambled egg with as much toast and cofee as you wish. Advertised at £8 was actually £11.95. The locals and Police were breakfasting at a cafe within 800m for £4. Hotel now charges £4 a night for parking, when you can park on the road 200m from the entrance free of charge. Needless to say only 25% of the car park in use.

Had not been to this hotel before and was impressed with reception and restaurant area as you enter hotel. Bedrooms were also quite nice although bathroom (shower area) had seen better days!, A bit dowdy. We were very disappointed when we entered our room as the sofabed was not made up for our 3 year old granddaughter after particularly booking a family room with yourselves a couple of days previous. Not even any bedding apart from 2 pillows extra in room! We contacted reception who were very apologetic about it but took about half an hour to appear with bedding, which we had to make up ourselves. Not very pleasant at nearly midnight as we had arrived late at hotel after going to a local cinema. Would really like this complaint to be passed on to Ramada hotels please as we felt we should have had some compensation for this disruption.

The manager whom I have met before outclasses the rest of the staff by miles. Check in fine no problems Restaurant served a undercooked steak and after sending it back it came back overcooked. Breakfast served with no fried bread and after complaining it came after I had finished eating . It was not fried bread it was dipped in fat , there is a difference On checking out one of the receptionists stood there pretending to be busy clearly knowing I was waiting to check out (ignorant) To summarise when the gentlemen whom I assume is the manager ( guy with the moustache) isn't on shift , the place falls apart

Very impressed with the high standard of the room compared to other hotels in the same price range. I felt the restaurant menu was a little bit overpriced.

Quiet, comfortable room, good shower, excellent food. Not possible to walk from/to airport despite close proximity, and insufficient info re courtesy bus. Also there was a charge for this which we were not expecting but then we don't do this sort of thing often.
