Score from 1078 reviews Good
With a superb central location, right in the historic centre of the city and just 5 minutes’ walk from Coventry Railway Station, the Ibis Coventry offers modern air-cooled rooms.
Score from 468 reviews Very good
In the heart of Coventry's city centre, close to the cathedral and the West Orchard shopping centre, the hotel offers great value, with spacious, comfortable and modern en suite rooms.
Score from 382 reviews Very good
Nice to have parking
That is no smoking now
Short walk to local amenities and city centre. Handy covered parking adjacent to hotel.
Lift a little noisy if your room is near it. Access to city centre a little scary via under pass if you are walking at night.
Restaurant staff has been very friendly.
Kettle was not washed & there was left over milk inside. Housekeeping staff was rude.
Free Wi-Fi worked well, good-sized room (standard twin) with large window, comfortable beds, and pleasant staff. Also, near to the train station.
One of the duvet covers in our room was not very clean. Not entirely central, lots of road crossing and subways to navigate to get to the city centre.
Upgrade to suite
Rowdy party in next room first allocated, but was eventually moved to a suite. Staff very understanding.
Next to neiboughs knock on the door middle of the night...Call on phone ( room to room service) we couldn't sleep!!!! Dont think that we will stay in Ramada anymore....
friendly staff brill view
Ideally located to Coventry Centre. Clean room and helpful staff.
Nothing about this hotel or its location
Poor location very run down area, located out side city ring road, a long and I feel a dangerous walk through filthy streets, ally ways and old style subways. As to the Hotel I cannot believe it is rated four star, thats a joke, it is an old tired pre cast concrete building, that has long past it's sell by date, windows inside and out were filthy as was the entrance area, lose filth on carpets that was there on our arrival was still there two days later. This hotel badly needs a refurbishment, or better still pulling down and a new one built in the actual city area, it is a dump in a dump area. We stayed on the 16th floor, in an apartment, right below the lift motor room, so no good nights sleep was had here, far from it, the room smelled and we had to go buy some air fresheners, for both the living area and bedroom, we believe this was due to the bathroom area which smelt damp and musky. The parking area was like a set off the film Death Wish, they should pay you for taking the risk of parking your car in there, from the outside it looks like it has been fenced off ready for demolition, which is what it needs. First and last time for us in a Ramada hotel thats for sure.
Beautiful room. Very clean and modern. Great facilities.
Wasn't clear that you need to go to reception to get the wifi code.
Very comfortable and great value for money! Loved my stay and would definately stay here again!
Very friendly staff and good location
Staff were excellent
easy for ravelling to NEC
The shower please, and the WiFi in mt room was very good
The bed was moving side to side
the décor of hotel was beautiful and modern and the breakfast was delicious with a lot of choice freshly made. the dining room was beautifully decorated across the street thee is a shop and 3 or 4 eateries very convenient.
Staff were very friendly & helpful, good breakfast.
Clean and tidy. Comfortable bed in spacious room. Great views of Coventry. Helpful efficient check in and out. Good value for money.
Car park charge should be included in accommodation.
Never got told when booking online you need to pay a 30 pound deposit
Helpful and polite staff.
Room was next to lift shaft - very noisy.
Early cleaning room 9am so you have to wake up
Staff friendly and helpful.
Although breakfast seemed fairly hot by the time I had eaten just part it was Luke warm so I left it. Even the pot of tea was not really hot and I suspect that they use an urn therefore the water is not boiling. Would not include breakfast in my next stay. At least in my room I could get a hot boiled water cuppa!
Functional, clean, comfortable - a modern refurbishment of an old hotel. I was part of a large conference, and the only one to stay at this hotel. I chose well considering some of the truly awful accommodation Coventry provides, as my 70+ colleagues will testify.
Very difficult to find if walking (had to enter through a multi-storey car park to find the front door); entrance closes at 10pm
The hotel was immaculate ...staff helpful and friendly ..room was fantastic I was very ccomfortable
Suite was just right
Mouse from corridor and room opposite
Excellent breakfast, probably the best I've had in a "chain" hotel. Good location for center of Coventry albeit in a scruffy area.
Room near noisy lift. WIFI slow.
