service room staff
lift noise long wait for lift. one not in operation
Great facilities, friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Will defanateley stop here again.
Rooms are cosy and comfy. Very clean and friendly staff
The lift broke down but was dealt with quickly.
The breakfast was ok although there were empty jugs of juice, not being replaced, but staff showed no concern This is not the service you expect from a 4 star hotel.
Not enough tea or coffee Visiblo water stains on armchairs Almost being charged for breakfast for 4 family members when I had phoned days before arrival and informed the hotel that there were now only 3 and told my reservation had now been adjusted accordingly to 3 by a member of staff (when it had not),so I had confrontation with reception upon checkout.. Would not stay with this hotel group again..
Tour guide of COventry on the TV. It helped me in moving around.
Payment for breakfast which I did not take and my money could not be refunded
The manager was very effective when dealing with my problem. He sorted things out quickly and was also very kind. It appears a mistake had been made when allocating a key earlier in the day - someone else had their key linked to my room which blocked my access. The mistake was not made by the staff on duty but by someone earlier in the day. Things worked as long as there was a more experienced member of staff around but not when there was not.
There was a mix-up in reception on my last night where it suddenly looked like my room had been given to someone else. I was not able to get into my room for 40 minutes and did not know what had happened to my things. Staff at reception was mixed during my whole stay - either they were very good or they did not really seem to know what to do the moment the computer was involved. The manager was called in to deal with my problem.
Room was backing onto the lift shaft
Staff, beds are comfy and good value of money.
location is very good.atmosphere quite and relaxing.
small beds even in suits. bathroom so close to bed.for two people sleeping together it is uncomfortable.
Size of the property
I enjoyed my stay to see work colleagues. i like the location of the hotel. it is a very clean hotel.
Please tell me why does the bed move. if its on castors surely these have brakes. My partner and i both felt the beds sag in the middle. IF YOUR GOING TO SELL LUXURY, pocket sprung mattressess. Why do hotels always only give enough uht milk for only two hot drinks, i always find this disappointing.
The lift mechanism kept me awake at intervals throughout the night. There is little point in a comfortable bed when there is too much noise to sleep!
The room was on the 3 floor as requested, late complimentary check out was fantastic, view from the room was fab!
My only problem was that the room was cold even with the heating on full! The extra heater didn't even help.
Nice hotel close to the city center. A special thank you to Marta (recepcionist) who was extremely helpful and welcoming.
Staff friendly and helpful
Hotel was a bit run down Car park wasn't free Single bed was very small, thought I had booked a large bed.
Rooms, cleanliness, decor, breakfast, checking out.
Broken lamp, argumentative receptionist. Being made to wait for a replacement lamp for thirty mins then going to desk and being told too busy to help and others need attending to, was thirty minutes late for appointment. Being moved room, again no working lamp, no batteries in the keyboard for the internet via T.V and no iron. Intermittent fire alarm going off at 6.30 approx and not being told why when asked. Going to breakfast and being informed I hadn't paid for breakfast which I had, waited 20 mins for that to be sorted out before being allowed to eat, again late for appointment. We decided to stay here even though our first visit onm the 18th October was cut short as we wanted to pay cash on arrival which we were told we couldn't and had to arrange alternative accomodation. When contacted customer services they said they wouldn't take payment as we did show up but they did anyway. Extremely disappointed in this hotel despite it's great decor, the dealings with the staff have been very short of what we would expect of a low budget hotel let alone a reputable one as the Ramada.
Rooms are very cold don't think the heating was working
Staff are very professional Rooms are really nice
Noise - Even though my room was far away from the lift, every time the lift was in operation you could hear it perfectly from your room
I was given a suite so I was very happy. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was good.
Room very cold and heating kept switching off
Would have liked more vegetarian choices for cooked breakfast.
I loved the self contained suite, everything including utensils was clean and in working order. The views from my suite were amazingly breath taking
Staff were friendly and helpful. Proximity to town good. Room very comfortable and clean.
