the breakfast is expensive and not always fresh
Good service in the breakfast room
Bathroom updated with walk in shower Quite room
Decor in room very poor and very unwelcoming.
The proximity to London City Airport and the Docklands Light Railway made reaching the City very easy. It was a pleasant surprise to find DLR so very near.
Close to Excel London where i went
Breakfast got stomach trouble maybe its the scrambled egg
Location Room Size Clean & Tidy Rooms Excellent Staff Service
Good hotel and convenient location
Location good, free convenient parking on site.rooms clean and comfortable.
Staff on reception have poor standard of spoken english. i struggled to understand anything that was said as did other people checking in at the same time. On checking out had a different member of staff but again really not up to the job.
Close to Custom House DLR, great value for money, staff were amazing. Room lovely decor, spacious, clean & comfy.
Excellent food , great portions , cucumbers bananas etc
Not a lot
Location was good Staff very friendly and helpful
Room was quite tired and worn
The staff were very pleasant, warm and friendly and extremley helpful. The room was very spacious and had a superb view over the water, it was very clean and the bed comfortable, although my wife and i disagreed about the comfort of the bed. i found it to be too hard, but she liked it. Although the hotel is next to the airport (London City) this was not at all a problem. the hotel must be triple glazed. The meals were superb, although a touch on the expensive side. The hotel is situated close to the DLR so the city is within 30 mins reach. It is located in a quiet spot and has a large carpark, the area is clean and well kept. We would happily stay here again
The staff was very friendly and food was nice
Lovely welcome. Celebrating my son's birthday, so upgraded to a suite with a fabulous view. Also a free birthday cake. A must is the cable cars near by. Overall definitely value for money.
Car parking is limited. Breakfast a bit pricey
Great steak, wine and service in the restaurant. Front of house impressive.
Lighting levels throughout very dreary. Fabric needs a rennovative tweak - very tired decoratively.
Staff is very helpful
The room service menu expensive and poor. Soup for 4£ was little bigger than tee cup
Value as got a great deal and it was a nice hotel Good breakfast
Bit too dark and scary walking back from DLR at night - felt remote even though only about five minutes walk
They gave me a free upgrade to a huge suite. Quick service at reception and at the bar. Good parking facilities.
Rooms decor feels a bit dated. Pricey restaurant.
A roof on our heads.
No place to visit London: travelling to the center takes to long. Very lonely area. "Poor" but expensive breakfast.
location free parking
Bed uncomfortable sheets not changed Poor wifi
We were upgraded to the suite. Fabulous and right next door to Excel for Lego Brick 2014
Location and the suite was superb with an amazing view
TV channels were limited
Good hotel with excellent restaurant. No problems with the location for the excel which were visiting. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed the meal which was reasonably priced and delicious. Service was excellent. Close to the Dlr for London access.
Not a great deal around beyond the excel. Definitely a business hotel. Hall carpets a little grubby made up for by the spotless comfortable rooms .
Location of the hotel is great for visits to ExCel and easy access on DLR to city. Facilities were just as we needed and the room (suite) we had was just what we needed for facilities and space whilst staying with our baby daughter. We would recommend the hotel.
I found the bed and pillows were a bit uncomfortable. Pillows could do with being a bit thicker as found we had to double them up (which was not very easy). Menu does not appear to include gluten free options (if they do them, it is not obvious) Our room could do with some cosmetic repair
