The location was very close to 02 arena, staff were friendly. we upgraded to a suite for £30 so the room was nicer than expected. the bathroom was small and not amazing for a suite. the bathtub was ridiculously small. the shower would turn boiling hot and scald you andf then go freezing cold unexpectedly, to which i was advised to not use the shower when i complained. the bathroom door had a raised metal floor so everytime you walked out if youw ere in a rush you would bang your foot and trip up. we requested two wake up calls. we received one fifteen mintues late.

Clean contemporary stylish near station Isolated so when the restaurant was closed no option but to use bar meal or room service. Felt should have known this before visit . The bar meal service was very slow ,the food tasteless and Luke warm ,though we were given a refund on checking out in response to our complaint. I doubt we will visit again ,though it was ideal for o2

Contacted ramada direct - air con broken stuck on full blast had to remove power key to get to sleep , breakfast absolute disgrace for an English 4 star hotel cold dirty and poor Ingredients - bacon was like greasy rock, sausages were bright pink and tasted of spam eggs were cold as we're beans , tinned mushrooms , very weak poor quality tea in tea pot cold re hashed potato cheap poor quality food to save money ..it really was disgusting . The staff were pleasant and helpful and I have no complaints with them if this ramadas std fare then I'll never stay at another one at half the £120 they charged

A lovely weekend. We would particularly like to praise a young lady called Lisa who waited on us at breakfast on Sunday and was lovely. Slightly dark walkways around the hotel; would be unsettling for a woman on her own.

Not so far to City of London. Room was big enough and clean. It was a good room for 3-4 nights stay.

I think I got food poisoning from your dining room. My room had curtains off the rod just hanging. Torn and frayed light shades. Not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel and the price I paid.

They charged me 3 times the normal rate due to the Motor show. For a tiny room with very basic facilities thsi hotel is having a laugh!! Will never use this hotel again. Only one good thing and that is 5 minutes walk from the Motor show. Breakfast was ok but nothing fancy. Very very basic. Far too expensive for what it is even during the motor show. Tv was so small that my ipad was bigger!! Only the basic shower, no hair dryer and a tiny room. They charged just under 3 times of the normal rate for this rubiish room. Will not recommend ysing this hotel unless you are desperate!!

Although the Hotel was situated on the docklands in London it was still easy to get to and close to the local rail line (dlr). As it wasnt a city hotel it was quiet and friendly. Staff were helpful and patient when they had to repeat themselves as I couldnt understand their accents however had the reception staff used better eye contact I would have found it easier to understand. The hotel room was clean and modern and the facilites provided were good. Breakfast was warm and fresh and had a good choice. The hotel also has an Italian restaurant which although I never used this facility the menu looked good and the prices were average. The 40 min trip into central London and the lack of eye contact from reception staff.

I booked a room for 2 adults and a child and was given 2 single beds, i complained and they did nothing, regular tv is charged for which is ridiculous, i would have expected more from this hotel. The only positive is its proximity to the Excel centre.

It was clean and quite basic but ok for the cost for a London weekend. We did not take breakfast so cannot comment on the food. Air conditionning was fine as was the bathroom. There were problems with the underground and the dlr on the weekend of our stay. We telephoned the hotel for help with directions and were amazed reception staff could not help us. They did not seem to know where they were! A cab took us there in 10 minutes in the end. The hotel is on the Ecel site but nowhere near anywhere else! We walked from Canning Town and needed cabs to Canary Wharfe. Tourists visiting the west end should book elsewhere!

Nice sized rooms. 1. Could not open the door to the balcony. 2. The staff at breakfast were clearing 'food' away before the sitting had finished as they had a large lunchtime booking in - had to ask for bread, butter, marmite etc. 3. Asked for a pot of tea for 2 and after 15mins had to go and ask again, got put on the side so collected it myself - no milk given, so had to get a glass and use that provided for the corn flakes! 4. On speaking to the restaurant manger he tried to make things better by bringing out 3 small bread rolls with no butter - just the rolls! 5. When called hotel to check for best dlr station was not informed they were not running - ended up paying £15 for a taxi!

Very quiet rooms, no noise from nearby airport. Nice breakfast (although scrambled eggs were very runny). Staff were very helpful. Great location for the Excel centre and dlr station, literally a 5 minute walk. Other people reviewing this hotel have said about noisy air con, we switched ours off using the off swith on the dial at night so we had no concerns about noisy air con. Loved the big walk in double shower, however as it was a family room a bath would have been better suited. We were given the wrong room at first ( a double when we had booked a family), this was quickly resolved by the hotel staff. The family rooms are the same size as the double just with an extra pull out bed. The cot we were given for my little girl, the base was broken, but we did not realise until the morning. She seemed to sleep ok in it so I dont think she noticed either. There was no bath, only a shower...not great for a 3 month old! Limited free parking, we had to pay £10 for the first 6 hours then we spotted a free space so moved the car which was good. However the hotel should offer more free parking or reduced fee parking.

A very nicely positioned and presented hotel. We were upgraded to a suite that overlooked the river and was quite a stunning view over the city. Breakfast wasn't bad and was the only thing I could say that could do with a little improvement. All in all a great stay, will be back

Room sold to me as a hotel suite - it is more like nice student accomodation - not at all what we expected, I was visiting the Boat Show for a couple of days and wanted some additional comfort that you would normally get in a 4 star suite. The Balcony door did not lock! And was not fixed during my stay - the safe was not attached to anything it just sat in the bottom of the wardrobe, I felt very uncomfortable leaving valuables in the room The air conditioning would not turn off so we had two nights with the noise and heat, we did complain but they were unable to fix it. The Fan in the toilet did not work at all and there were no windows. We were told that there was free customer parking, there was no mention that there were limited spaces and if you didnt get a space (there was a bopat show so it was busy) you had to fork out for parking.

I liked the close proximity to the station as you could see the hotel as soon as you left the train station, the rooms were clean with a large tv and tea/ coffee facilities the bathroom was also clean with a good shower and plenty of mirrors! The only thing I didnt like about the hotel was that because the hotel is a sealed unit the air conditioning/ ventalation is always on and cant be switched off which does make a noticable noise,

Having previously spent the night at a 3* rated Holiday Inn in London - with bigger rooms, a more comfortable bed and half the price, I was disappointed in the Ramada. The best thing about it was the proximity to the dlr.
