I thought the hotel as a whole apart from the bar area was in desparate need of a refurbishment. The pool/spa area in particular was a digfrace. I would not stay at the hotel again or recommend anyone else to stay at the hotel. |

Good location between the beach and the town. Had a spa and small pool which was good for unwinding. Staff were very obliging and had a friendly manner. Nice late opening for sunday breakfast. Rather noisy, located at the roundabout and near to a noisy bar. The spa facilities could do with upgrading. No air conditioning and the room became uncomfortably hot which made it difficult to sleep. The breakfast was over priced. |

The staff were excellant. The reception was very fast and efficient and answered all my questions. We ordered room service and the food was of a very high standard. Unfortunately we stayed over the hottest wejend of the year and the room was incredibly hot. The leisure club changing and showering facilities were of a poor quality though it was one of the best jacquzzi's i've ever been in. |

Very central and very good service. Plesant staff and a fantastic view from our room. ( room 565) The fire alarm at just over midnight was unavoidebel but the staff who took our names outside should have had a yellow vest and organized the guests better. ie: one place of meeting and could of been a little bit more decided. |

The location was good if you needed to get to shops or food, very central to the city center. Cleanliness was an issue, the glasses in the room were always dirty (even when replaced) and the towels smelled. |

the staff were very helpful with all our enquiries. Just being very picky to find an answer to this question - the tables in the breakfast/dining room were a bit tacky / sticky to the touch, probably due to their age and needed a good strong detergent to bring them up to scratch. They were cleaned so maybe the cleaning fluid needs improving. |

Receptionist very pleasant and friendly. .Breakfast was cooked to a high standard but plates cold and food barely warm. Sat near window as room was dark nearly fell as steps leading down from the table were missing visibility edging strips.Bathroom full of mould-very offputting. |

The breakfast was really nice, with a great selection of fruit, cereals, yoghurts, cooked and vegetarian, with plenty of fruit juices to select from. Unfortunately I booked a twin room with my son, but the internet booking passed wrong info on and no twins available. So we stayed in a double bed. I would also have preferred a mini-bar in the room. |

the hotel is centrally located with easy access from both the bus station and railway station. although the room was comfortable I felt that the bed was too big for the room in which we stayed. It left no room for anywhere to sit other than on the bed. |

We have been at the Ramada Edinburgh and thourley anjoyed ourselves but we thought Ayr was fairly poor there was not much selection of breakfast, slightly overcooked and very dry. So we would not be going back to Ramada Ayr. |

It was very convenient for town and my daughter's flat. The service at reception was incredibly slow. One receptionist actually left the reception area even though she could see that I had been waiting for at least 10 minutes and there was someone else after me. Also when I went to check out at 7am as I had a plane to catch, there was noone on reception and I had to wait about 15 minutes before someone turned up. |
