customer services excellent staff excellent our one night stay turned out to be a very noisy one due to other guests staying and who in the end had to be delt with by hotel staff, due to our stay being spolt the operations manager has given us a free nights stay with breakfast and said how sorry they were that this had happened during our stay! they explained that a group of males had booked in but under single rooms so they had no idea that they all belonged to the same party, what a lovely gesture they have given us with our free nights stay we look forward to it very much i could not fault any thing about the hotel, staff,or room every thing was excellent and would recommend to all

I booked this room for my elderly mother and my aunt. I requested a seaview and a disabled room for the shower access, I received a confirmation e-mail with those specified details on it. However , when my mother went to her room it was not disabled and was rear-facing. They changed the room to disabled but it was facing a brick wall. My mother is elderly and would not complain about this to change rooms as she already changed the room for the shower access.This trip was booked as a break for my mothers 70th birthday as she stayed with you before and thoroughly enjoyed her stay. The only complaint ,as I said, was she was facing a brick wall, this detracted from her stay especially after receiving confirmation that it would be front facing with a sea-view.

Convenient location for our family visit. Comfortable bed, friendly bar staff. Satisfactory range of food at breakfast.

We were always going to eat out in the evening at a nearby favourite restaurant. We thought the menu prices in the hotel were rather high especially for a pizza!

Very noisy in corridors. £10 for a beakfast even if you wanted just wanted cereal. We were told the night before continental was £5 but in the morning we were told breakfast regardless was £10.

I was meant to have a upgraded room with free sky,coffee machine but only got a basic room. The hotel blamed booking.com for making a mistake and said they would email them but have heard nothing. I complained to booking.com a week ago but still no reply yet. I still enjoyed my stay but did not get the room I was booked for.

the hotel was central, friendly, food was good, prices were competitive,

Bang in the centre of Ayr, so very convenient for restaurants and shops etc. Good views from the room (if facing the sea).

I liked the staff, the hotel was value for money as we stayed 3 nights for £150, we could use the facilities, walking distance to the beach, walking distance to shops.

The seb coe suite could do with a bit of TLC, but what hotel doesn't, the only other thing would be the bar prices if they had been as cheap as some other places I would of quite happily sat in the bar all night.

Location, near train/bus station, beach, shops, pubs and a wide variety of eating places to please all budgets, having the use of the leisure facilities

There was no bathrobes/slppers, no nespresso coffee machine and our paper wasn't delivered to our room, all which was included in the booking.

Location was perfect ; so close to centre.

Inadequate parking. I complained about this. View from window was of car park. Couldn't complain about that but overflowing rubbish bins and gulls having a feast on the debris was disgusting. Bins were not on hotel premises but not a good view.

The hotel was good and close to the town centre. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were excellent for relaxation and a pleasurable swim

The toilet pan in room 259 was cracked and is needing replaced
