Mercure Bradford Bankfield Hotel    

Nice spacious clean room but did not arrive till10.45 so not a lot of time spent in it

On entry room radiator off . Rainy day outside so a bit cold

The slowest, least efficient check-in and check-out process of any hotel I know. Allow 10-20 minutes for each. I have stayed here several times and it is always the same. Not the staff's fault, it's the rotten IT system which they have to use.

The food in the Brasserie was very good.

Proximity to a main road(though is advertised that is away from city),noise levels very high throughout the night.Also people talking and drinking outside the hotel until early morning hours.

Rooms spacious. Staff friendly and helpful. Fairly good choice for breakfast. Nice setting.

No Gym or spa facilities. Bar needs more appeal to meet for drinks before / after meal or day out. No biscuits with the tea making facilities. More incentive to go outside to sit for coffee / drinks from the bar. Bar licence for cash sales finished too early but you could charge it to the room. Porridge for breakfast

Ideal location for exploring the area. Comfortable and clear and staff friendly

The advert said set in 6 or 8 acre's and we thought this would be gardens and most of this was the car park

Nice room and comfy bed - excellent bar food. Friendly staff. Lovely feature staircase and nice artwork in shared areas.

The old building is submerged by the hotel and I'd hoped to see the original victorian building. The central heating pipes woke us up each day with a series of banging sounds from 5 am. We booked early and then the price dropped so we were aware people had paid less yet had an inclusive breakfast. Mould on tile grout in bathroom.

Lovely hotel, large room , big bed. Checked in last minute late at night. Staff were excellent, Ernest even finding us a charger for an I- phone that we had left. Excellent value for a lovely hotel

A really nice hotel especially for the price paid, pleasant surroundings, good sized room, big comfortable bed and from rooms at the back nice view.

The bed was too hard

staff were very helpful, knowlegdable and friendly

pillows were very soft and internet didn't work initially but staff soon sorted this out!

It was late when we arrived staff appeared teird and a little fed up. The room was a little unkept. I expected a little more for a 4 star hotel.

the extensions are too modern for A lovely building but hey ho 1970 bad designs. would not put us off going back

Several odd things happened and all were dealt with speedily; a kettle exploded, the shower was constantly scalding, and a bottle of Prosecco arrived in my room frozen. All handled well and courteously. A reasonable upgrade tariff gave me a large comfortable modern room for the 3 nights.

friendly staff, old style manor house entrance and gothic outside was pleasant to look at. Even got a couple of ghostly orbs on camera on the stairs of the entrance hall.

Mattress in the bedroom was too firm for us but otherwise room was lovely. Room was cold when we got in there due to radiator not turned on, it would be helpful if front desk can inform guests that they need to turn it on when they enter room.

severe snow,but the hotel didn'T clear driveway, paths etc to anywhere near A satisfactory standard. we did get stuck in the snow - I went to ask if someone could help my sister N myself. nobody came. heating/ water failing due to boiler.

I liked the friendliness of the staff, the hotels location gave me acessibility to the surrounding areas around Bradford and Leeds. The rooms were well eqipped with everything from a hair dryer to an iron.

That the grounds were not cleared of the snow which then became ice. I found this to be quite frightening as the hotel grounds were the only access to the main road.

The staff could not have been more helpful. I was staying on business and the snow was dreadful, I would not have got to my meetings without the front desks knowledge of the cleared roads. There's little I can fault with this hotel, my experience was welcoming, warm and a genuine concern that you enjoyed your stay.

Comfortable and clean room. Good breakfast for £10.00. Evening dinner reasonable.

There was no lounge with comfortable chairs only the bar to relax in during the heavy snow days.

Location was perfect for me, very close to Saltaire, Bradford and the countryside. Good soundproofing to outside, away from nearby main road.

Room seemed a little dated. Internal soundproofing to hallway was poor.

Bargain price for two nights on B.com. Everything was great, friendly staff, quiet room, quite large room, with view over fields. Breakfast at £10 each seems a bit steep, so we didn't bother. Not easily accessible without a car. Beautiful wooden staircase, newly decorated rooms. Much better than a travelodge for a similar price.

Really enjoyed the stay!
