The Rivenhall Hotel  

For my situation its well situated and is good value for money

In the courtyard twin rooms the showers are abysmal and I and my friends have stayed on numerous occaiasons apart from that no real gripe.

nice pool and leisure facilities , very friendly staff,lovely food and restaurant , very quiet room .

Great location, lovely room though a bit tatty in the bathroom. The receptionists I encountered were friendly, helpful and fun.

'the girl serving the breakfast didn't listen and I had to make requests which was a shame

The Hotel was the venue for our daughters wedding and I can only say good things about the whole experience. The staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, not only for the wedding but in the restaurant also.

Rooms were very small and in need of a lot of modernisation. Large chest took up space & not required Double room but only one chair

Nice hotel with EXCELLENT staff. Had swimming pool and a very nice bar and restaurant. Good standard. We would stay there again.

The annex buildings look a little tired from the outside, but the rooms are fine.

The location was good for the wedding we were attending in Witham. Staff were very friendly and helpful and let us check in early.

The room we stayed in (114) was very dated, it felt like a motel room. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. perhaps i should of tried out the sofa!

The furnishings and fittings in our room looked rather tired and in need of updating whilst the heating didn't work until the receptionist brought in some heaters.

The pool from the hotel is nice but could be a bit more welcoming.

we like the comfort and cleaness of our room, we enjoyed the spa, but wished the spa area and swimming pool was bigger and need larger relaxation area. Back massage was fantastic (thanks to Charlotte).

Everything,but perhaps the mattresses could have been a little softer?!!!!

The main building is quite beautiful and picturesque.

The room should be a little bit warmer.

The breakfast was very good, as was the evening bar food. The TV had radio too, which is always a bonus, but the sleep button on the remote didn't work.

The room was old & dated. Clean, but looked a bit tatty. The room had a wall hung heater, that came on periodically, waking me twice in the night. It sounded like I was on a run way!
