Breakfast too expensive

It was clean and modern in design.

The rooms were tiny! The double bed was very small - I am 5'4" and my feet were often poking out the bottom. The bath was also very small - knees almost up by my chin. It should be made explicit that breakfast is not included. This in my view is unusual and made the stay over-priced. And no free wifi in the room in this day and age!

We liked the modern design of the whole place and the service. The service at the bar and restaurant was excellent.

We have no complaints but would comment only that the bath is far smaller than any normal bath even for a 5 foot 3 woman, let alone a normal tall man.

Hotel Staff in the foyer were very welcoming and service from them was excellent. Room was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Staff in the restaurant were pleasant but remarkably slow. For example, I asked for a bread roll to go with my soup, but I'd finished the soup long before it arrived. We were the only people in the restaurant. It took a long time for me to get the attention of any of the waiters to ask for another drink. Food was good but perhaps a little overpriced given the service. The man at the spa desk also couldn't give us an explanation as to why the sauna wasn't working properly. His response was "I dunno".

I only stayed one night but it was quiet and the room very comfortable. Breakfast too expensive at £15 per head - that is really over the top. Mix of guests a bit odd but that's what you get with £99 weekend offers I suppose. I would consider staying again.

The wedding took over the venue and the noise unavoidable - not a very relaxing spa break

The location, nearby shops easily accessible. Friendly, helpful staff.

Lack of lift facilities, necessitating an immediate change of rooms to accommodate my 95 year old mother. Lack of hand rails on some staircases. We returned to the hotel on two occasions to find the alocated disabled parking bays taken up by non blue badge holders. Perhaps this could be adhered to a little more stringently!

Modern rooms, well furnished. Good restaurant. Good service. Friendly and efficient staff.

Rooms doors have poor sound insulation making it possible to hear noises from rooms opposite or when walking past, or when other people talk outside the room in the corridors.

Attractive modern interior, good facitities. Comfortable bed and large wall T.V.
