my room was ideal clean and modern. would definatley use again especially at the rate of £42 I got it for
usually the price of this is around £100 so wouldnbt pay that,
The hotel provided us with everything we needed.
Having a 10% service charge added to bill when ordering lunch, also having to wait 20 mins to order a last evening drink.
Spacious room and the room price due to a sale.
Inadequate lighting in the bathroom
I really like the location as it is close to the university and easy access to local amenities. The rooms particularly double one are very spacious, clean and comfortable.
The attitude of some receptionists are not as good as it would be expected. Iam disappointed.
I really like the location of hotel as it is easy access to the university and the other local amenities. The rooms especially double one are very clean, spacious and comfortable. The cleaning services is very good.
I disappointed by the attitude of some receptionist staffs as I have been staying since mid of September and when I asked for a permission to keep my luggages for a while to do recheck in, they did not accept and I totally understood the policy of the hotel. However, it would be accepted for other customers.!!!!
- Location is perfect in front of Galleria and University of Hertfordshire de Havilland campus and a lot of restaurants - Surrounded by Bus stations that take you to any place in or around Hatfield
- Furniture is old and need renovation - Corridors are very smelly (food odour) - Cleanliness level in rooms and hotel halls and facilities are far from being adequate not perfect
Extremely noisy neighbours on both sides. Mainly students No response from reception to complaints on the noise Very dated decor and facilities Smell of smoke in the room
Hotel rates are expensive. Some days the rates are very expensive
Good food and nice bedroom
Poor shower tile missing broken shower tray. Expensive drinks
I did not like the condition of the hotel, the damp in my bedroom or the very bland mass market, poorly cooked food.
room was lovely, night bed, big tv. shower I didn't want to get out of
room service - food was not good for the price £12 a burger, £20 steak. plus the waiter that delivered it I think had a cold as he was constantly sniffing. small tip for the kitchen - cheddar cheese on a red onion tartlet doesn't work.
Conveniently located for my purposes unfortunately I will choose alternative accommodation due to staff issues
Service at Dinner was wholly unacceptable. Saved by one young member of staff who was courteous. All others were slow, unhelpful and ignorant. Further compounded by room service delays and errors
Good selection of places to eat within a couple of minutes easy walk
Toilet seat broken. Slow response to fix. Food poor quality and high prices
Good Value, Friendly staff Nice room Great location for college
Finding toenail under my bed Taxi firm ordered from Hotel phone ripping us off because we had a bit of luggage - charged us GPD15 for a GBP5 trip. Good 20 minute walk to train.
Near to our daughter University. Everything was Perfect
Breakfast was very good but less choice
1st night at first floor room for 3 person, the water pressure on shower was very low, hardly can wash your hands not to mention to shower
Good size room which was well appointed. Friendly staff. Good selection for breakfast.
No soap. Room too hot and initially difficult to find. Chaotic breakfast arrangements especially making tea.
no temperature control in bedrooms - very hot in summer; late check out is at GBP10/hour; shower was suffocating; bathroom too small; generally run down building/facilities
location was good close to university
horrible room service the prices were too high and the quality too low
Near to Hertfordshire university
Easy to find, efficient service, good price, free car parking. The room was comfortable and well designed. Bar prices reasonable.
I would have preferred the pre booking price of breakfast to have been available on arrival.
Efficiency of staff in dealing with requests. All staff members that I interacted with were pleasant and eager to assist. I had a cold take away meal which they collected, heated up and returned to my room very quickly.
second room we got was ok
didnt like the smell from the bathroom no hot water for a shower
I stayed at Ramada Hatfield for 2 days with my wife and little son. We enjoyed it so much. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The place is quiet and very close to Galleria shopping centre. Very good value for money. Would recommend it for anyone.
water system needs updating, the shower was just a trickle !!
