Easy to find, efficient service, good price, free car parking. The room was comfortable and well designed. Bar prices reasonable.
I would have preferred the pre booking price of breakfast to have been available on arrival.
Efficiency of staff in dealing with requests. All staff members that I interacted with were pleasant and eager to assist. I had a cold take away meal which they collected, heated up and returned to my room very quickly.
second room we got was ok
didnt like the smell from the bathroom no hot water for a shower
I stayed at Ramada Hatfield for 2 days with my wife and little son. We enjoyed it so much. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The place is quiet and very close to Galleria shopping centre. Very good value for money. Would recommend it for anyone.
water system needs updating, the shower was just a trickle !!
I was fortunate enough to get a free room upgrade so my opinion is biased! The room and the bed were extremely comfortable & well equipped. For its price, local hotels I've stayed in are no match.
Only small gripe is noise from the hall, more effort needs to be made to keep people quiet with the walls seeping noise easily.
The staff courtesy
No fridge and microwave in the room!!!
Unhelpfulness of staff
Quality of service, comfort and atmosphere.
Not enough loo roll for a family!
Hotel badly needs a face lift. Route to bedrooms is poor and very badly marked and explained. Rooms are dated and badly laid out. Numerous blown light bulbs not changed. Breakfast poor standard. Bar is poor.
Clean room and comfortable bed.
Very poor signage, difficult to find way around a rabbit warren of rooms. No lift so hard for mature visitors to carry case up stairs. No exit signs in car park, hard to know way out
The hotel had excellent potential, rooms were furnished to a good standard.
There were numerous problems checking in, with the room not being ready on time. We were told that it was because the room was still being cleaned but when we got to the room it didn't look as though a lot of cleaning had been done. There was damp in the bathroom and the sound proofing of rooms left a lot to be desired
Room service Integrated good restaurant 1 minute walk from a shopping mall if you want a cafe breakfast Nice bed Nicely laid out room Good in-room facilities (tea, coffee, hair dryer, iron, ironing board) Good lighting
No air conditioning in room (not a big deal as the windows open up nicely) Weak shower stream with bad water spread
Staff very friendly, hotel room very spacious and clean, shower was great with side sprays and seat if needed. The food was very very good cooked extremely well and service in the restaurant you could not fault. We have have stayed in a few hotels in St Albans recently and this tops the list for everything.
Had to change bedrooms. Toilet did not work. Service in restaurant poor. Hotel needs a refurb.
Location was ideal for meeting two customers. Breakfast was good and ample.
Facilities and building looking long in the tooth. Staff at breakfast seem overstreched. Never got my tea :-(
Relatively easy to find. Quick checkin has booked on line
Limited tea and coffee supplies. Hot room but fan available. Limited bathroom supplies and shower needed some instructions on how to use. Overall though nothing too hard to deal with.
Courteous and polite staff. Clean, comfortable large rooms. Excellent location for the needs of our stay (family wedding at Hatfield House). Good vaule for money.
No lift facilities, making it difficult for people who have walking difficulties to use stairs.
rooms were big and bed was big.
The warm welcome and friendly atmosphere was superb.
Parts of hotel were a but old-fashioned.
smelly room, noisy as next to a store room. staff mostly unhelpful or not informed or too busy to help.
friendly and helpful staff clean and tidy room good location- close to the university of Hertfordshire campus an array of choices for breakfast to cater to all types
room quite warm with no air conditioning located at the back of the hotel near the busy road
1. Very clean rooms.
1. Late delivery of room. 2. Reception staff was unwelcoming. 3. No mini fridge in room. 4. No air conditioning in summer weather.
Friendly helpful staff. Very comfortable bed and room with a bath. On a regular bus route. good breakfast.
The position of the room. No 132.
