As we were leaving,it was raining. The reception staff Mr Bishak (I can't recall his exact name) took us in his car to the Galleria bus stop for us to take our bus to the airport. I think he has done something beyond the call of duty and we truly appreciate this very kind gesture.

We were staying over Christmas with my daughter who lives in St Albans but did not have room to put us up for the holiday. The Hatfield Ramada provided convenient nearby accommodation at a reasonable price. There were very few rooms occupied so there was only a skeleton staff on duty and only a limited food option for breakfast available. There was a rather empty feel about the hotel.and entrance and exit was via a door bell.

The room was really nice, the location was good. It was quiet and the hotel had ample parking and the resturant/breakfast area looked nice. The shower was huge, it happily fitted two. Beds were comfortable, lots of coffee sachets, nice full length mirror. The hotel was quiet and there was an interesting argument from a couple in the hallway. The 12 o'clock checkout was good too!! We were told breakfast finished at twelve. But when we went down at twenty to twelve, we were told it finished at eleven!! I asked for a refund and for some reason I wasn't refunded the £20 extra the breakfast was...I Was refunded £17. I was given some confusing reason to it, but I didn't argue as I didn't want my partner to cause a scene. The hallways were like a maze! But this ended up being quite fun.

Comfortable room very well located for University of Hatfield (son on campus 100 yards away) and only £5 more expensive than Travelodge 1/2 mile further down the road. If it had been much more expensive I would have booked the Travelodge as we are on a budget, but you came up with a good price so I will do it again if I can get the same rate. Nice hotel and good value, suited us very well. Minor quibbles with room (reading light not working, somewhat noisy as overlooks a very busy road, woken at 6.15 by laundry delivery outside the window). But overall rate stay as good.

Large room, comfortable bed, amazing shower. Staff were a bit disorganised, I was sent in several directions as several didn't seem to know where my room was. At breakfast I had to get up and ask for coffee etc - things that weren't on the buffett.

Staff were pleasant and friendly. The hotel is very close to Hatfield Business Park where I was working. Far too hot in my room, and facilities feel like they are out of the 1970s. Needs a bit of tarting up.

Location and comfort. Staff were efficient but not overly friendly or helpful. More attention to detail was needed in cleanliness, cobwebs were visable and dead flies were on window ledge.

The breakfast which cost £8 each was good The room was very basic, considering it was originally £120 there is no way that it was worth that. The bed was uncomfortable and the tv had a fuzzy picture. The shower was grubby and the walls in the bedroom had black marks on them.
