Relaxing hotel in a very picturesque location. Customer Service very acceptable Position of the hotel extremely convenient with an excellent car park. Bathroom a little small and due think to a weddingreception a little noisy in the early hours with an individual shouting obscene language. |

Convenient to London, St Albans, etc. Comfortable facilities, good breakfast. Very relaxing place to be. Beautiful grounds. Tea & Coffee at breakfast, in the bar and in the bedroom was terribly strong and almost undrinkable. |

Set in pleasant gardens, ample car parking, within easy reach of St Albans and London without the hustle and bustle of staying in a London hotel. Rather strange layout and some rooms are a long walk from reception going up and down stairs, not really suitable for elderly or infirm unless they specify their needs. |

Bed was comfortable after I had turned the matress over, which looked like it hadn't been done for quite some time.Good room facilities, clean bathroom, shower area and plenty of towels available.Good breakfast a wide selection of continental or full breakfast available. The location was hard to find, the hotels postcode didn't seem to apply to it's actual location. They need to update this on line. No complimentary tea/coffee making facilities in the room, though not essential i suppose. |
