Convenient for our trip north of london and near to m1 Poor layout very long walk to our room. Booked a twin and were given a double and were told no twins available yet when I booked on the internet I was offered a twin. Notice on the wall behind the bath informs you that non slip mats available. Too late for me as I slipped and fell in the bath lucky not to be seriously hurt and only saw the notice when I was sat in the bath afer my fall.Non slip mats should be fitted in all of your baths.

Large room with very large comfortable bed. Good parking. Relatively quiet considering there was a large wedding reception taking place - largely because of its bizarre layout. Staff in the main, friendly. Peculiar layout - bits have been added on - so that it is quite easy to lose oneself ( not made easier by poor signage to reception etc.)Not good for people with walking problems since there are miles of corridors. Bathroom and some public rooms slightly scruffy ( mold in the bathroom grouting for instance.) Some staff slightly perfunctory, especially in the bar where there was often slow service but made up by pleasantness elsewhere.

friendly bar staff. room was clean on arrival and cleaned well by the housekeeping staff. very long walk back to reception. key card didnt work 4 times after the receptionist doing new keys each time so we had to keep walking back and forth which we got frustrated with. stairs very dangerous. metal edges just casually fixed with a couple of nails and very unstable.

Stayed a couple of years ago, good then but not remarkable. This time excellent - modern and very comfortable studio room. Highlight of my stay - I wanted a room service meal but didn't fancy anything on the room service menu, so I called room service and asked if they could do a steak baguette with salad and a bowl of fries. No problem whatsoever, and instead of the anticipated 30 minutes a piping hot meal was delivered within 10 minutes. Excellent!!! Staff at check in and check out very friendly and helful. Extra coffee sachets (I need my morning coffee strong!) delivered to my door. Highly recommended.

The staff were friendly and helpfull, the bed rooms were clean and well maintained, the beds were very comfortable and the pillows were very good. Crap pillows in hotels is my pet hate and the ramada scored 10 out of ten. The breakfast was good plenty of what ever you wanted, presented well and the staff were very friendly. Would stay again.

The ease of driving to and leaving car parked safe and the ease of taxi from air port back to hotel for the night before our journey home. I think a bit of tlc would not go a miss to the whole place , ie; mouldy grout round bathroom, not having temperature controll on shower , carpets looking dated and fraying especially on stairs , could prove dangerous. And although the staff were as nice as possible under standing them some times proved difficult , so a few more English, being I did not see any might help. just a general freshen up ! .

Room 265 was excellent and since our last stay mobile airconditioning has been installed. The room was very clean and comfortable. The Front Desk checkin and checkout very slow. The dining Room for Dinner - staff not experienced and slow - especially with prices charged. Another guest was given a key to our room and tried to get in during the night!

Overcharged on booking in; ground floor room window had no handle and was insecure; bathroom was mouldy and dingy; we had to put up with drunk and half dressed youngsters roaming the corridors all night and the second night was a wedding party. At breakfast the fruit juice was watered down to within an inch of it's life and when we complained we eventually got juice brought to our table but the jug for everyone else wasn't re-filled. None of the staff spoke very good English and no one could help us with directions to well known landmarks. We have stayed at Ramadas before and never stayed in such a substandard hotel and were very disappointed.

I arrived late but still got a choice from the resturant menu, rather than having to select a Bar Snack, from the Bar Staff. Poor service at reception, I was given the wrong details to sign and did not get a receipt in the morning. As I did not get good service at reception and I was running late, I did not stop to ask for one as I fully expected the receptionist to be as slow as she was the night before.

It was convenient for our needs and we are staying again in 10 days time. The breakfast commenced at 8.A.M. which we found to be late. It seemed that all the occupants of the Hotel went to the restaurant for 8.A.M. (we were hungry by then and many others had coaches waiting) and it was absolute chaos - even the staff said so. Maybe a 7.A.M. opening in th summer might be appropriate as it gets light very early and people are up and about.
