The rooms were very clean. The location was nice. Staff were very friendly The rooms could have been a bit bigger for the value. Stairs and walk ways make noise.

Very well situated in a quiet leafy location close to the M1. The hotel was undergoing a refurbishment programme when I stayed but every effort was made to minimise its impact on guests. Excellent restaurant, inclusive breakfast was superb Nothing to fault.

The breakfast personnel was very friendly and actually all the staff I called the hotel the same day we arrived and asked what is the best way to get to the hotel from Heathrow. I was told that taxi is good and will cost 40-50 £. We took a taxi from the airport and the cost was 120 £!! When I asked this from the reception I was told that pre-order should have been made with the taxicompany the hotel was co'operating. That was the reason why I called the hotel but nobody said to me that the taxi should have been ordered beforehand, or that the hotel could have helped us with the transportation. It was very annoying to pay extra for that taxidrive.

The size of the room was good. Breakfast was good. Shower was excellent, however, a shower cap would have been nice as the overhead design is lovely if you want to wash your hair but a little difficult if not. The room access via the marquee and no lift.

The welcoming friendly feel, the wonderful breakfast and the peaceful & tranquil location. Bar prices quite expensive but understand the reasons for this.

Felt that I should share my excellent experience at the Aubrey Park Hotel, we checked in the room, our inititial room was smaller than expected (the only negative) so we upgraded to a suite which was fantastic, we then went to the bar for a drink which was very welcoming and compfortable (I will probably now have some of my meetings there) and the San Miguel was normal pub prices. In our package we paid for an inclusive dinner, which is normally very average. Not here though, this was fine dining at its best (worthy of a Michelin Star). Wine was also very good and not overly expensive, staff were also very professional and friendly, Breakfast was also freshly cooked, (poached eggs were perfect), we will definitely come here again. Well done

The restaurant manager was very swift and kind in resolveing a problem I had at breakfast Very small room and bathroom - we had to stand aside to let the other person walk around the room. Lift not working. Trudging through outside make-shift corridor to room

A lovely hotel. Refurbishment not yet fully complete but foyer, bar, restaurant and completed bedrooms very swish. Great parking and outside areas. Excellent breakfast. Staff very professional and helpful. Nicely situated in large grounds just outside Hemel and near Junction 9 of M1. Nothing.

Staff were excellent. The first room would have been poor value for money and was really not an executive room. The room we had eventually (room 190) was excellent except very cold all the time. The radiator was badly positioned behind heavy curtains which stopped any heat so curtains had to be pushed back and even then it was very cold. It was very noisy after weddings with drunken guests. There was no wii fii in room 190. The fact that everything we tried to order food wise was sold out. Afternoon tea was advertised but sold out and there was no cakes etc, so we ended up with a bowl of chips and bread and butter, which was pretty dire. The evening meal menu was poor choice a lot of stuff had nuts. The notice saying you could not guarantee nut free food was a cope out and would not have stood up in a court. However my allergy is mild but it left me with very little choice of food. The evening meal was inconsistent the first night it was really nice but rather small the second it was larger but not as nice. We asked for orange juice and marmalade for breakfast and was told there was no orange juice it had been used up at the wedding. That is poor ordering and at first we were told you did not do marmalade but a very nice young lady waitress managed to find us a little jar. At the moment I would not recommend the hotel nor visit again. However once the renovations and the very nice new manager brought into turn it around has worked his magic I would like to visit again to see if things have improved.

Recently refurbished to a very good standard...better than Premier Inns. Restaurant looked great and breakfast was very nice. Excellent value for money, quiet location and will be even better once the bar is opened. Still being refurbished but doesnt affect your stay.
