Nice location with comfortable bed, Staff were very helpful and friendly
Poor decor in room paper was peeling off the wall. Travelled with small pet dog but was told hotel only allows guide dogs in the room
location was ideal for my trip.
room was not clean, furniture broken and shabby. restaurant was poorly staffed, only one person knew what they were doing. food was cold because plates were cold.
Leisure facilities superb superfast wi-fi spot on quite location and plenty of parking
The welcome from the staff was good
dirty bedroom Carpets in hallways showing their age Price of alcohol was way too high. Sorry wouldn't stay again.
Bit run down for the money
Room is warm and i have always enjoyed my previous stays
There were numerous small black hairs in and around the bath. The bed wasnt a double but two singles fastened together with an uncomfortable edge down the middle. Also the mattresses were worn and the springs could clearly be felt.
Staff were friendly and very helpfull. We eat in the bar area and could not fault the food or service from the bar staff. The bedroom was clean and comfortable.
The bathroom was looking tired and could do with bringing up-to-date.
Gym facilities, WIFI and Food. Very chatty and polite staff.
Noisy neighbours, long walk through dripping wet conservatory
Welcome excellent. Well appointed room, WiFi simple and effective. Food and wine well priced. Quiet setting, very green.
Bar could not provide drinks which we r e on menu.
In the dining room some five items unavailable from the menu, wine was served warm and had to send back to be changed for cold ones.
Wifi facility. Only stayed one night so did not partake of any leisure facilities but will remember if visit again
The gentleman on reception was not at all friendly in fact he boarded on the rude
Whilst booking early to ensure we had accommodation arranged when attending a wedding nearby we received a call informing us that the hotel would be busy and potentially noisy. We compliment the hotel for advising us of this potential issue and offering us an alternative, albeit further away from the wedding we were attending.
Although informed that the hotel would be noisy, because of weddings and parties taking place, we didn't expect our room to be allocated directly above the noisy party room and have music reverberating through the room until 12.45am! Additionally, the changing rooms in the Leisure Facilities (used at 8.30am ) were not clean, in particular the wash basins. The remainder of the hotel was clean.
The spa !!
Could hear sound from adjoining rooms quite clearly. also continual humming sound.
Very handy location for local wedding and very friendly and helpful staff.
Tired looking corridors.
Friendliness and helpfulness of staff
Having to book a later reservation in the Dining Room because a large group was being served although loads of other tables were available.
Close to Hull train station (about 10 mins by taxi, will cost u approx £8-13 depending on traffic). Close to Castle Hill Hospital which was the purpose of my stay in Hull (5 mins by taxi). Hotel has a phone at the reception desk which connects you directly to a cab service , so it's very easy to book a taxi.
Beds were springy and not very comfortable. No restaurants within walking distance besides a Mac Donald's (but I guess this won't be a problem if you have a car)
free car parking good breakfast
Sunday evening around 10pm no one at the bar, stood there for 5 mins before heading off to reception, was told some one would be on there way shortly, 10 mins later they arrived. Staff the bar at all times please, dont give the bar staff other things to do, hire extra staff.....
Friendly, efficient staff,
beds v comfy and spacious staff sorted out last minute requirements
Staff, food, general ambiance
Plumbing in room 110 appalling. Gallons and gallons of cold water before spasmodic hot/cold water. Blocked basin waste and shower head with 10 jets out of 50 working, heated towel rail = cold.
Big car park with leafy gardens
We had a long walk to our room from reception
The sound proofing from adjoining rooms was very poor which disturbed sleep.
Rooms were big and good wifi
Hotel was noisy and dated! Very busy on the weekend I was there, staff run off there feet, also moving things during the night, so had bad sleep! Also the shower was very bad! Had 2 and one didn't work the other well, either very hot or really cold!
