Friendly staff. Convenient location to Castle Hill Hospital. Very quiet & peaceful hotel. Clean comfortable room.

Grumpy man on reception We had a family room but there was a constant running water sound. I informed reception to be told (in a very rude way) that it would be looked into. I then got avery nice polite man ring me back and say it was the water running in the central heating system, this is a common problem he informed me. He said he could move us but there wasn't any more family rooms!!! So why offer to move us?? We staied where we were, to be kept awake by running water and the disco!!!! Will not go there again!!!

The staff were very frriendly.

We had a very disturbed night on our first night, I only had about 1 hour's sleep. A very noisy couple next door to us - his snoring all night was like havin a circular saw in our bedroom. When I informed reception on booking out all they said was 'sorry'. If that had happened at a Premier Inn we would have been offered a refund for that night.

Nice situation sitting in its own grounds. Rooms and lounges large and comfortable.

This room was in need of attention but having stayed here before I know other rooms are better. Expensive WIFi and coffee.

Long que for check in as there was only one receptionist. Reception Staff on the phone for 3 minutes when wanting to check out in a hurry

Staff are courteous, all apart from one guy who on reception, cobtender for most ignorant man alive.

Overpriced food and drink. Only two plug sockets including tv, kettle. My room had dreadful plumbing that soaked you whenever you turned on the tap.

Friendly informative staff. Good food and comfortable rooms. The staff were also very helpful especially when the lift broke down. It wasn't the hotels fault but it did cause us some problems as my husband is slightly disabled. Must remember to book a ground floor room next time.

The staff were very good and attentive. As with the loo it was done as soon as I reported it. We asked for extra tea bags and pillows and received them immediately. Breakfast had plenty of choice and all cooked well.

The loo in the bedroom had not been cleaned under the rim at all. I complained, it was remedied. The hot tub was 34 degrees, average body temperature is 37-38 degrees therefore it feels cold, not hot. Also as there was snow on the ground the air temperature was also cold. The swimming pool was at 9 degrees and with the cold air temperature this also felt very cold. I did speak to the young man and he said it was the best he could do!

Only stayed one night when attending a wedding near by. Booked a suite which I would highly recommend, very big and clean and also nice and warm. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. I would stay again if in this area.

The decor of the rooms and corridors looks a little 'tired' and in need of revision. Our visit was immediately followed by a two-day stay in a Premier Inn (in Greenwich), where we found the rooms and public spaces to be much more clean and fresh looking.

Have stayed here a few times, and as always you get a warm welcome and lovely facilities. I would recommend this hotel to friends.

1/The spa area was closed for our entire stay and we should have been informed of this. 2/ The reception area was poorely staffed ( they did not answer our calls)

Well kept and friendly

I only stayed one night but everything was to my satisfaction.The breakfast was excellent.

The Grange is a good hotel with 1st Class staff throughout. When the pool is opened again following repairs it will be nice to have a swim and a relaxing sauna - especially after a long drive.

Everthing worked well. The rooms were clean and reasonably comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and sauna. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The bar and restaurant area were rather too open-plan, and rather cold. If I'm sitting in the bar having supper, I don't want the front door opening and making me cold every time someone goes in or out. There should at least be glass between the bar and the foyer.
