This grand hotel has a great location in the heart of Inverness, yet in a quiet area with splendid views of the River Ness and Inverness Castle.

Just outside Inverness centre, this modern hotel is a 15-minute drive from Inverness Airport. The Thistle Inverness Hotel features a leisure centre, free parking and a traditional restaurant.

We have stayed serval times and aways enjoyed our stay ,
Excellent city centre location
Fantastically located right in the centre of Inverness. Good parking facilities
Several rooms, including ours, had abnormally narrow doorways and entrance corridors, seemingly designed by hobbits or the borrowers. This was more of a talking point rather than a genuine issue!
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant / bar staff were also very welcoming and professional. The hotel arranged entertainment which went down very well. The hotel is situated in a great area of the town making it easy to get to where we needed to go.
Can't really complain about any of our stay.

Great location for the festivities. Room was excellent Breakfasts excellent Staff very friendly
The room was at the back of the hotel and very noisy at night Didn't like the staff taking away plates before my meal was finished
The staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. The location is good for central Inverness Parking is cheap for guests Room size good and heating efficient. Bed firm and comfortable
The hotel needs a thorough renovation as it has a tired look about it. Bathroom small with cramped toilet space Bar prices are way too high better to go to other bars close by and halve your spend.
Modern newly refurbished stylish rooms Front door in the centre of the high street. Staff very polite and thoughtful
Carpark was very tight and limited spaces Rooms could gave more storage. Wardrobe only sufficient for one. No bench for a case.
I found the staff very friendly & welcoming. The view of the river ness from my room was very nice. The location was great..
Paid £75 a night for a room, that was not worth it, especially after the room I had in Edinburgh for £4.00 more. The room was very dated, with bathroom that needs a complete refit. The bed linen smelled like it hadn't been washed or maybe not changed, I informed the cleaner the next day. and that was ok.
Noisy, work going on possibly in one one rooms, woke us up at 8:30 both mornings, not what we needed after having been at a wedding n wanting a lie in
Bath and toilet were stained
The central location, level of comfort and amenities led to a very enjoyable stay. The room was very comfortable and with the river view gave added enjoyment.
The resteraunt prices were high
The wifi service & the window facing the street. The receptionist was quite helpful & nice.
The size of d wardrobe, quite tiny.
Location, breakfast and hotel was warm and clean
No swimming pool, they must get it back and in double room with me and my wife but with one bathrobe and one pair slippers, they shouldnt say when booking room ,bathrobes also one set of towels
The position of the hotel. The ease of parking. The ease of checking in and out. Staff were friendly. Facilities (we didn't use due to time, but value them for another time). Half the guests had a river view that was lovely. (5 x twin rooms).
The shower! The shower in 516 is like standing under a dripping drain pipe. Others in the group reported a great power shower, but it was cold, so seems most of the group were unhappy with the shower facilities. As a group of women on a night away, we weren't asking for much, but a decent shower was one of them, so very disappointing.
good central location, good staff i have stayed here before and would again, but next time will take my own pillows.
the heat in the room and very poor pillows made it a sleepless night
View of river from our room and closeness to the town
Small room, bed squashed up against wall so you had to climb over other person to get out. Bathroom needs refurb...no hot water for shower in the morning. The noise of the other guests, police had to be called. This is the third visit to the hotel and the second time we have had problems with noisy guests keeping us awake all night and quite scary. No apology from staff. Pool was not open, would have been nice to be told before we booked as would have chosen a different hotel. Will not be visiting this hotel again.
Nothing about this hotel was to like. Good Italian restaurant round the corner.
Never got the room we booked. Very noisy from outside All night till 3.30am. We got moved to a different room for 2nd night. No noise from out side!! Instead guests spilling back to their rooms between 2&4am fighting & shouting causing so much disturbance the Police were called to several rooms!!! We had No hot water for a shower & had to boil the kettle to get washed. On using the lift down to breakfast we noticed the walls & floor of the lift were splattered in Blood!! We had breakfast & weren't willing to stand in a very long queue behind people complaining. On leaving the hotel to our car we practically had to climb over 40to50 Service men lying sleeping & simply lazing about all over the floor. We couldn't get away quick enough. So much for our break before a very busy period of working in a very busy hospital ward over Christmas & New Year.
location is abit noisy
Bed was really comfy.
Not having the pool or Suns open because this is why we booked not on your web to say it closed 10 months ago very disappointed
close to all amenities ie the pubs restaurants & clubs the beds were comfy enjoyed my stay
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds were very comfortable.
Needs modernised and the bathroom in our room needs money spent on it to update it. Cracked tiles and stained bath.
