Room very large, bright and airy. Excellent breakfasts. Didn,t use any hotel facilities so unable to comment. But location very convenient to city centre, shops, restaurants etc and railway station. noise from the street below even though we were on 5th floor! |

Extremely noisy both from night clubs, loud people noises all night and early morning trucks. Hot water was extremely difficult to manage and safe was not secure in room - loose on shelf. Quiet room was offered but was not available for the 3 nights we stayed and also for an Pnd 20 extra per night which amounted to more than an extra aud100 for our stay - so we did not take up |

I liked the size of the room I had. Very comfortable and airy. Central location and helpful staff. The only thing I did not like was the audible noise in my hotel room of other doors and windows etc being closed. Some better soundproofing or soft door closers would be a good idea. Also the shower was particularly disappointing, although the bathroom itself was nice. |

There was a swimming pool I wasn't told that we'd have a disabled bathroom in our hotel room. When requesting another room, with a normal bathroom, the lady at reception desk was of no help and did not sympathise with our situation. It should state, when booking, what facilities you are going to receive. I thought it was stupid giving two non-disabled people a room with disabled facilities. |

Centrally located. Opposite Railway Station. Bus Station nearby. Shops and hotels nearby. High Street within walking distance. Riverside Tea-coffee packets were calculated for one cup per person per day. Toilet seat was not fixed and we had to wait for the plumber to fix it upon arrival. Windows were pretty unclean and spoilt the view. Same breakfast on each day. Room service did not provide the right order and overcharged. Noise insulation not good and as such was woken up at night and early morning due to noise. |

very friendly staff at all times. Alittle too much noise outside during the night as our room faced the street but the staff said they were getting triple glazing installed soon. |

The hotel was centrally located in the city by the river which allowed us very quickly to exit the city by walking upstream onto a very impressive river walk. The lifts were taken out of service just after we arrived which caused problems getting luggage to our room. They were not put back into partial service until after breakfast the following day and even then the lift did not go down to car park level which again meant problems with loading the car with our luggage. |

receptionist extremely helpful and cheerful.Dining room staff less so and on one breakfast needed to be asked three times for the tea and coffee. Spa facilities good. Noise from the town side. A feeling that the building is tired. |
