Excellent professional reception and bar staff. Cleaners very pleasant and happy to provide extra tea-bags and milk. My room was surrounded by rooms containing a group of men on a stag night, had to call reception at about 3.30am to ask them to be quieter, there was a prompt response to my call. Generally very noisy, loudly closing doors, could do with the spring style that many hotels have now. Extremely noisy plumbing, could hear toilets flushing through the night. Could even hear kettles being boiled, must have very poor sound-proofing. The noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in.

My husband and I stayed on Saturday 5th May 2012. The hotel was comfortable. . The view across the river was excellent . The assistants both at our arrival and departure were very helpfull and friendly. I was expecting luxury but felt it was not as luxurious as the pictures on the web site. Disappointing we had to pay for parking ! Although only £2.00 we should not have to pay if you stay in the hotel. The carpet in the hallways to our room looked shabby and dirty. The ensuite had badly grouted areas around the bath . We could have stayed at a premier in for a quarter of the price. The breakfast was a bit died up.

Handy to everything, snow was an added bonus. Toiletries not being replaced after first day. (Hotel informed) Breakfast closed down at 0920am on a weekday, despite people still coming in.!!

Great location. Price higher than my budget allowed for, but not much more than was being demanded by several inferior Guest Houses, hence the booking. 12 o'clock check out was an important factor, too. I visit Inverness fairly often and this was my first stay here. Under similar circumstances, I would use the hotel again. Getting a mix of hot and cold water in the shower to reach a comfortable temperature for showering was a bit of a challenge.

Good location, easy parking, breakfast reasonable. The bed was extremely poor. It felt old, well worn and lumpy. There was also an extractor fan on the adjacent building which could be heard all night. I did not enjoy a good night's sleep.

Excellent central location. All the amenities are close at hand. The fact that you have a leisure club at the hotel make all the difference.

It was a nice week end the receptionist had no problems moving our room to a river view . The facilities came in very useful to relax in . The on suite is very old & dated & look very shabby with cracked toilets & plugs not fitting in the sink . But I am aware they are upgrading . I'm looking forward to a future trip in a upgraded room . We had a very pleasant stay .

Swimming pool & leisure facilities. Bedroom was comfortable and a good size, overlooking the river Ness. Shower was good. It was a good price and a great location. It was a bit dated, and in need of refurbishment (especially the toilets near to the bar on the ground floor). This didn't matter to me though as all the other points were good. I didn't go for the breakfast, at £8 each extra as I thought it was too expensive.

I found the staff to be very helpfull, the facilitie's were really good to relax in during quiet spells, the bar was a we bit expensive but that was to be esxpected whilst staying within a city center hotel, overall i donot have and serious complaints, the heating worked fine, the shower is excellent loads of pressure and heat, the bathrooms were a tad small, at some points the noise from the city center was annoying again this was to be expected, the £2 per day parking was acceptable. my only main complaint was on the sunday there seemed to be a church group who had hired a confrenmce suit, i was not pleased to be woken up to the noise of drums and symbols, but it did spur me and my partner to go out in to the local countryside which is only a twenty minute drive, on a whole the hotel was really good. there is nothing i didnt like about the hotel except that some of the guest should read the signs and respect other guests.
