Having stayed at the hotel once before we found them to be a very caring and considerate. My wife is disabled and the facilities and staff in general were very good. My son and his wife accompanied us and were equally impressed. My younger son and his family live within a few miles of the hotel so everything was ideal for our visit. We hope to stay there again in the future.

Very beautiful setting (unfortunately during the winter this is not much appreciated on arrival though I felt the hotel appearances far excelled the luxury of the interiors which were somewhat cramped. Served the purpose of easy access to London however and had a nice stay!

It was a standard Ramada, lovely and comfortable, no further unexpected surprises. Bad or good. Broken shower head. But when reported I felt it was going to be seen to soon.

Clean, luxurious and helpful staff. Not enough pillows and only one set of towels in room. Breakfast needed replenishing when things were empty.

The room was a good size and the bed comfortable. Very good shower. The receptionist was not overly friendly when we arrived and I think the hotel would benefit from a refurb.

I liked the closeness to Guildford and lovely countryside which is what we went for. The breakfast and food at the bar was very good and the shower in our room as well. The staff were very helpfull too. I do feel that bathrobes should be provided for the room price paid and small things like biscuits with the tea/coffee. Also the bed we were in was on casters and you couldnt sit up and read as it slid away from the wall which was irritating. Only a tiny complaint but obviously its good for you to know.

Easy to find and bed was so comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was a little tired but that was all, it wasn't enough for us to ask to move.

Easy access to local theme parks, great restaurant excellent food and lovely location. Staff busy on arrival and first words were " you will have to wait whilst I sort this out " they had a wedding going on, and I think run off there feet it would not put us off returning but a nicer welcome would have felt better for our stay. Restaurant food expensive but worth it if you can afford it.

The tap in the on-suite didn't work and when reported I was told the "repair guy is on holiday, he will sort it when he gets back!" This is a shame as I wont be staying there when he gets back so it didn't help me at all!

Rural setting on main road between Guildford & Leatherhead. But very peaceful set in lovely gardens. On Sunday night we had a barbeque on the lawn. Traditional local architecture very nicely designed ( not a concrete block ) added to the country retreat feel. My room was spacious, peaceful and comfortable. Good value for single business use

As there was a wedding reception at the hotel, the receptionist thoughtfully gave us a room well away from the celebrations.

Not too far to walk from carpark to reception- also, not too far to walk from reception to room. Hotel didn't feel too big and impersonal. Lovely quiet room. Excellent facilities.

“The location was ideal. Very close to the University of Surrey. I thought the room was clean and comfortable. The Internet access was very easy, however is does cost extra. Tv comes with about 20 channels which were more than adequate. They do have additional pay per view packages available but I didn't select any so I can't speak to their variety or content. They do have a restaurant and I ate their one night. I thought the food and service were good. The front desk staff were very friendly and gave several excellent dinner recommendations. Overall I was happy with my stay at this hotel.” David, Round Rock |
