The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, knowing we didnt know the area, they pointed us in the right direction to where we needed to go. And the complimentary room upgrade was a lovely surprise and a lovely gesture. Our room was beautiful, the only small dislike was the shower situated over the bath. |

I liked the fact that it was in the centre of town near all the local amenities I thought the rooms looked a lot more spacious on the website than they actually were. |

The staff were nice and friendly and the location was perfect as it was only 10 minutes from Leicester Tigers ground and great for all restuarnats and shops. They were obviously busy but i wasn't impressed that they gave us the keys to our room (after the check in time of 2:00pm) and the room had still not been cleaned. That was disappointing as it was a gorgeous hotel and not the service i would have expected. It was also very noisey as our room was fronting onto the main street and the noise didn't stop until 3:30am. |

Nothing special apart from on site parking which made it a little easier and cheape Could not get anything to eat after 11.00 pm apart from a few costly sandwiches that were not up to scratch and having to produce your specimen signature card every time you required anything at the bar. |

The lady who was on reception when we checked in on Saturday was extremely helpful and friendly, I would recommend the hotel friendly staff make all the difference. It was a very hot day and as the rooms did not have air conditioning it was extremely hot at night. |

Its central location, spaciousness in bar, lounge etc, remembering being in this hotel many years ago and how it used to be!, ease of car parking Breakfast could have been better and catering for the individual at the time we went to breakfast would have ensured fresh food served rather than food left heating and becoming spoiled etc |

Tatty, outdated and noisy. The main reception area has been updated, but the corridors and bedrooms do not appear to have been updated in some time. Ceiling tiles in the batrhroom were displaced, tatty and stained. The windows are original sash windows which did nothing to reduce the sound of deliveries which started at 3.00am. |

The staff were accomodating (no pun intended) given that my reservation never materialised. To get access to the hotel late at night, and getting served at the bar felt like passing through customs with a gulity conscience. |

Good central location. We had a very small room over the fans for the restaurant which meant that we could not open the window despite the heat of the room. We also had to move the chest of drawers to be able to open the wardrobe door and then back again to get around the bed. I would not recommend this hotel. |

The room was very spacious and nicely renovated for what we paid. There was a very large bathroom with a good shower. The late sheckout and late breakfast on Sunday was nice The bed wasn't normal size, quite small |

Greeted very well when I checked in (early) - very accomodating and friendly person at the front desk and bar. Good facilities in the room. Internet on the television was awkward to use, and not in any worth £4.99 per hour. This is a little bit picky, particularly given that the room was overall very clean, but there was a lot of grime under the taps in the sink which meant it hadn't been cleaned properly in while - just a cursory surface clean. |
