Free car parking Paying for WiFi is a joke that is why I prefer the Village Hotel where possible. Food, lack of choice and very expensive for portion size.

the way staff handled a problem they had little control over how concerned they were with making sure that during my stay I felt looked after following my complaint There was a hot water pipe running through my room which radiated heat, meaning I had to sleep with the window wide open, wich meant hearing lots of noise. The staff investigated my comments about the heat in the room, explained that if they turned off the hot water pipe running through mine and the other executive rooms the hotel & guests would have no hot water! A design fault of an old building - the way the staff handled it and looked after me following this is a credit to the training they have obviously had & taken on board on delivering excellence customer service. I train organisations in delivering excellence customer service!

only the location the room was overheated with no control to turn down...the shower drainage was blocked...the whole place was in need of updating and as such, it was expensive only because of those issues

It was a Bank Holiday weekend, and people were returning at all hours very noisily throughout the night. I was continually woken by doors slamming, and noisy footfall, and talking. They should put up a few "silence - people sleeping" notices which may help.

Excellent location. Handy parking. Good staff. Both rooms were noisy. You could hear TVs in adjoining rooms, traffic outside the window and people passing the door in the corridor. Neither my daughter in room 53, nor I in room 57 got much sleep.

The location was excellent, right in the centre of town. Staff were polite, and helpful. The decor of the rooms was a little bit of a 'mishmash' - new bathroom, old wardrobe area, though very clean Our rooms were situated in what I would imagine would have not been the original building and even though we could get the lift with our luggage (we were travelling around the uk so had enough for two weeks) to the first floor it was quite very difficult to get our luggage to our room (89) as there were more stairs to climb. I would not have been able to do this without the help of my son. We stayed for two nights (Thurs/Fri). The breakfast was excellent on the Friday morning, but on the Saturday there was much less choice and the cooked breakfast was cold.

We love staying at the Ramada. My mother, whom I stay with and is 85 years old, was born and bred in Loughborough. She was born in1921 and left in 1960, although she continued to return to see her parents and in-laws, friends and other family regularly in school holidays. I too was born in Loughborough and although I moved to the South of England when I was 2 years old, I continued to return every school holidays from 1960 until I was a young adult. My maternal Grandparents lived in Loughborough, paternal grandparents in Barrow-on-Saur. My mum and her contemporaries remember the Ramada as 'The Kings Head', a very posh businessmens hotel that they 'wouldn't have dared setting foot in' as it was a 'posh business mans place'!!! No hooks in bathroom for towels!!! Bathroom itself, great, new and clean and fresh

Helpful staff, fair priced when discounted, reasonable buffet breakfast. Room needs an update, duvets thin, towels out for only one person, had to help ourselves to a second set and another pillow as only one each on the bed.

Ideal central location with good parking. Beds were very uncomfortable - rooms lacked ambience - was rather utilitarian. The hotel was dark and lacked warmth and atmosphere - a little tired and dated.
