Very good value. Cheap and better than a premier inn
Better explanation of how to drive to the hotel is needed.
Old and dated hotel. Poor decor. Jaded. 1970s feel and 1970s bathroom suite.
Generally run down. Very poor lukewarm breakfast. Manager's attitude left a lot to be desired
The staff were very accommodating and very kind, especially Callum who was on duty that day. It was a very upsetting day and Callum went out of his way to make everything easier on what was a very difficult day.
Good reception of guest. Breakfast was good.
The curtains were badly stained and dirty. There was so much dirt on the window. Heater installed in room was not effective, additional mobile unit provided to augment need in the room.
I complained about the awful smell in the room, and I was swiftly moved to another room which was fine, although the bed was tiny.
Why were we checked into a room that was clearly not fit for purpose due to the awful smell?
Key pass lock on front door to keep down the waiting in cold
Being kept waiting to get in when doors locked
The curtains are ripped. Windows are can not be shut properly. Had to put the towels into the gaps to stop listening winds. Be honest it is very old refurbished building and worst Ramada hotel I ever stayed.
only a brick wall to view out of our room > breakfast very small and not very good .
Complete lack of atmosphere. Very poor cooked breakfast. No frills whatsoever. Desperately in need of updating
Pleasant staff throughout my stay. Central location and good-sized car park.
Overall hotel and room decoration looked a little worn. Scuffed wallpaper and paintwork in places. Could not get bathroom towel radiator to turn on. Wifi although free was not consistent.
Helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Free parking. Town centre location.
Slightly date room décor.
Helpful as usual
Internet not brilliant had trouble logging on in some areas
A very good town centre hotel with clean and tidy rooms and a good restaurant.
Lack of air-con.
Very personal and friendly staff.
I really enjoyed the Ramada atmosphere and quality of service. I enjoyed the quality of my room and the bath room.
At time the walking area to the rooms may need some restyling. In some areas it needs a little bit of extra stairs to take.
Stayed overnight to drop son off at Uni the following day. The service from the staff particularly the night manager was excellent. They managed to get us alternative rooms in what was a 'full' hotel.
Having arrived tired from a long drive we discovered that outside our room at the front of the hotel were planned road replacement until 4am! Heavy machinery right outside made it impossible to sleep, fortunately the staff made a special effort to move us.
it was clean, the location is good as it's a 3 minute walk from the city centre. they have car parking which is good.
décor needs upgrading
Very polite, friendly and helpful staff, clean pleasant room, quiet at night.
The bed was a little hard as I have a bad back but this seems to be a common problem nowadays.
Excellent central location. Friendly helpful staff. Good self service breakfast. Large free car park - unusual for a central hotel. Large comfortable room. Would definitely stop here again.
No bad feedback
Stayed at Ramada while attending a steam gala at nearby Great Central Railway. Have stayed there 4 or 5 times previously and always enjoyed it. Also handy for the Loughborough town centre. Was B & B basis. Staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast very adequate and room comfy and clean. Only downside is that, compared to previous visits, it could do with a spruce up. Otherwise no complaints and we will return there in the future.
Just needs a spruce up.
Good location. Staff excellent.
Dated , noisy room but we were in centre of town on a Saturday night
Staff member (tall, dark haired) picked at the buffet and put some meat in her mouth during breakfast.
Room was clean and tidy.reception staff was excellent ordered an iron and it was there within 2 minutes :)
Didn't like the shower head on the shower.water came out to fin and slow.the room was cold and the radiator didn't turn on by the valve.ordered a breakfast to our room the toast came first and it was cold then the breakfast come with no knife or fork.so by the time we ate it was all cold
