The fitness club and pool, and the buffet breakfast were v.good.Car parking was easy.

Restaurant food was only fair,and poor value.Room-maid service was sometimes poor.Winter weight duvets in May spoiled sleep.

I found the hotel easily, it was very welcoming and informal, and there were no problems at all.

restaurant is abysmal, poor menu and the food is awful and really expensive. Will certainly pay the taxi fare into town next time!! The price of beer is also shocking!! Dont stay here, not worth the money, even if 30% off like the deal i got.

Friendly staff,Good location and easy access to town via busses. Clean, well kept hotel.

Having facilities near by like super market and petrol station

the way it looked like from the outside and the rooms not having fridges - i would have found it easy to keep drinks cold.

Buffet breakfast was good.

The rooms smelled strongly of smoke and the bathroom flooded everytime we used the shower.

The hotel reminds you of the old school style buildings.... More so there is no lift and the rooms don't feel very comfy especially considering the price your paying. The customer service isn't the best either. I think this place needs a modern day refurbishment.

The Pool and Sauna

While having our breakfast in the restaraunt. A group of other Guests were also breakfasting. The were obviously from a business as they all were dressed in a uniform. Their voices were very loud and they were swearing. Using the words F--K and C--T. We both found this upsetting and one would have thought we were sitting in a public house. We reported this to the receptionist who took no notice.

Why were there metric signs directing customers to the hotel entrance when we use imperial signs in the UK (yards not 'metres') - it looked totally unprofessional (almost political)

The hotel was comfortable and as expected at the price. The staff were helpful and friendly, especially reception.

The Buffet Breakfast. I prefer my breakfast to be freshly cooked and served even if this takes a little longer. Fried eggs, bacon, sausages, and especially pancakes do not taste good after spending hours in a hot display unit. The only time I tried the pancakes they were crisp instead of being flexible. My only other complaint was that there was no minibar in the room, although there was a place f
