The room I checked in and asked about breakfast. As I had arranged a late check out I asked if it was possible to have a continental breakfast in my room. I was told yes. This was not the case. And having arranged a late check out we were woken once by the cleaner and twice by reception...hardly the rest I had booked in to get. |

comfortable hotel close to motorway with easy links to Nottingham and Derby.Within minutes of beautiful countryside. Due to the location next to the M1 motorway it may not be suitable for light sleepers. |

Couldnt fault anything about this hotel, it was exactly as described. The hotel staff were friendly especially the breakfast staff and the breakfast was lovely too. I would stay again, oh, and the price was excellent!! |

The room next door was occupied by we think part of a stag party who woke us at 3 am shouting talking swearing which continued for more than an hour. The walls are very thin but think maybe they should think about which rooms are allocated to who if possible as we had a very distrupted night! |

No integral dining. Branigans expensive for basic food. My room was occupied by another person but I was given room key. Hotel corridors stank of cigarette smoke. |

Nice big "executive" room upgrade. Decor and maintenance of room and general hotel good. Comfortable large bed with good bed linen and duvet. Easy to control room temperature. No bath, although the shower was good. The dining room is apart from the hotel, so it is necessary to go outside to get to it. Dining room a bit dingy. Breakfast choice good but some of the food had been sitting for some time. The toast was not always fresh and the croissants stale. The plates were not hot. |

Everything went well. We are not regular hotel users, but we liked everything. We also particularly enjoyed the generous Breakfast as value for money! |

Being woken by a fire alarm at 01.00 on Sunday morning which it appears was set off by silly youths smoking in their room. It was also concerning that the Fire Marshall did not perform a role call to check everyone was out of the hotel |

large room, comfortable bed, warm, clean. breakfast. We went at 9am and the hot buffet breakfast was rock hard and not very hot. Also even though double glazed windows could still hear the noise of traffic on the M1. There was no lift and we were on the top floor. |

Very pleasant breakfast food and service. Very clean. Staff helpful. Room was too hot at night and could not turn off radiator. Next to M1, understandably noisy |
