Not far to travel to city, close to M1. Unable to control the temperature in the room. Too hot. Had to request that heating be turned off. |

Was quiet and served the purpose for our visit to the area. The plumbing in our room needs looking at. The shower took for ever to drain away and smelt awful, plus the sink in the bedroom was the same. Think the drains need to be cleaned. |

close to donington park race circuit. easy to find as its just of the m1. staff are friendly and rooms are clean. secure parking. We didn't feel we had got value for money. The double bed was actually two singles clamped together and not comfy, and the room we had (116) looked ready for a re furb. For £134 a night not including breakfast, I expect better. Insist on getting a room facing away from m1 or you will find it noisy. got to be honest and say if other accomodation this close to donington had been available, we probably wouldn't have chosen this one. where were the biscuits in the tea and coffee tray? Don't get me wrong, if this had been a travel inn with a much lower room rate, it would be ok, but at ramada prices its disappointing. |

The room I checked in and asked about breakfast. As I had arranged a late check out I asked if it was possible to have a continental breakfast in my room. I was told yes. This was not the case. And having arranged a late check out we were woken once by the cleaner and twice by reception...hardly the rest I had booked in to get. |

comfortable hotel close to motorway with easy links to Nottingham and Derby.Within minutes of beautiful countryside. Due to the location next to the M1 motorway it may not be suitable for light sleepers. |

The room next door was occupied by we think part of a stag party who woke us at 3 am shouting talking swearing which continued for more than an hour. The walls are very thin but think maybe they should think about which rooms are allocated to who if possible as we had a very distrupted night! |

No integral dining. Branigans expensive for basic food. My room was occupied by another person but I was given room key. Hotel corridors stank of cigarette smoke. |

Nice big "executive" room upgrade. Decor and maintenance of room and general hotel good. Comfortable large bed with good bed linen and duvet. Easy to control room temperature. No bath, although the shower was good. The dining room is apart from the hotel, so it is necessary to go outside to get to it. Dining room a bit dingy. Breakfast choice good but some of the food had been sitting for some time. The toast was not always fresh and the croissants stale. The plates were not hot. |

Being woken by a fire alarm at 01.00 on Sunday morning which it appears was set off by silly youths smoking in their room. It was also concerning that the Fire Marshall did not perform a role call to check everyone was out of the hotel |

large room, comfortable bed, warm, clean. breakfast. We went at 9am and the hot buffet breakfast was rock hard and not very hot. Also even though double glazed windows could still hear the noise of traffic on the M1. There was no lift and we were on the top floor. |
