The position was good for travelling, and we had a studio room which was larger than the normal double. Nice to have an ironing board and iron rather than a trouser press. The radiator wasn't working, but the manager brought a convector heater, the extractor in the shower room only worked some of the time, and lights over the long mirror didn't work. The lack of a mirror for women near a socket was inconvenient and we felt the food was very expensive.

Location. A nasty smell from the sink in my bathroom and the meal I had was very disappointing. It was overcooked and so I sent it back which for fish & chips doesn't say much for the chef! I didn't feel that the restaurant was great value for money so next time I'd eat out.

The position of the room Extractor fan not very effective. Could hear everything said in the adjacent room, so I imagine they could hear me. The iron face in room 103 needs cleaning. Ironing board not user friendly. Please change the cover on the ironing board. Could not iron my shirt, too much hassle. Will use the place again because the hotel is well placed for my destination

Claire on reception was extremely lovely and the bar guy, blanket in the room. The whole hotel is outdated needs a revamp, only towel in the room for 2people, need more than one pillow, more milk , proper larger tv,

The fire alarm going off at 7.30am, when we had been at a wedding the day before this was not a good wake up call for us, especially when it went off twice. We left the hotel by 9am as could not go back to sleep, we would have stayed for breakfast but decided against it due to been woken at 7.30am on a Saturday morning!!!
