The location in relation to the places we wished to visit in Yorkshire was excellent. A short walk from Wetherby town centre. Close to major road network. Staff friendly and very helpful. Relaxed atmosphere. Overall an excellent value for money hotel. There as nothing we did not like about the hotel. Description about parking on Booking .com was misleading - there was no charge for parking for guests of the hotel.

Eastern European lady who works on reception (sorry - I didn't catch her name) was extremely polite, friendly, helpful and efficient. I thought that the restaurant staff seemed a little unfriendly. Having never dined here before I didn't feel that the greeting was very welcoming. The meal however, was absolutely fantastic!

Very comfortable hotel and the location was what we wanted. The people were very friendly and helpful. We had a few problems with the equipment and they were really helpful, except the computer was out of business and they could not get it going but that was not their fault something with the internet.

Good location, friendly and professional staff, competitively priced Problems with radiator in room, which wouldn't switch off. A major problem overnight, as we were much too hot. In trying to sort this, radiator became very noisy. Eventually contacted reception at 4.00 am and we were moved to another room. The reception staff did deal with this problem quickly and efficiently. We also had to ask for a tv remote control when we checked into our room although again this was dealt with immediately.

it was convienent also then staff were very helpful and friendly considering our room was superior we thought it very basic and not very clean. The restaurant was empty in the evening which didn't inspire us to dine, the menu was poor and expensive. Breakfast was a disgrace, the hot buffet looked as though it had been stood for hours and the fried eggs were set solid and greasy in the dishes. An omlette my wife ordered was served with salad and raw onion and was rubbery. The cold buffet was almost non existant no cold meats or cheese and no croissants or danish pastries. We were told if we needed croissants we had to order them, but the chef had forgotten to buy them in so we were offered a couple of small croissants and chocolate muffins straight from the freezer, we suspect via the oven as they arrived red hot, not what we hoped for. The menu promised freshly brewed coffee and tea but, in fact it was from a hot water machine in the corner of the restaurant.

The reception staff where extremely friendly and helpful. I found the bar staff a little less intrested in customers whic really spoilt it.. Your not cheap for meals there and although I enjoyed mine it was not as statues on the specials menu. The bar staff unhappy and non intrested which was a shame, however that said it was late and try could have had a bad day. The fact when I came to check out I was told I had already checked out and my bill processed... I had not checked out therefore some else had and you authorised my card for someone else! Why was the paying card not asked for at the time of check out and checked?? I found this highly unprofessional but it was saved by the manner and sincere apologies I received by the hotel staff.. Make sure it doesn't happen again!!

The staff were excellent and provided an exceptional customer service. Most of the hotel was satisfactory and the room we had was a good size. Bedding and towels were clean and so was the general cleanliness of the room. However, what let it down was the deterioration of the decoration. Paint was bubbling up and peeling in the en-suite bathroom and there was a marked lack of maintenence around the windows as the paintwork was poor and paper hanging off and in need of repair/replacement. This didn't affect our stay and we would stay again, especially for the £49 per night price.

The location of this hotel is ideal. It is a short walking distance from all the shops and eaterys in Wetherby and a short drive from the Race Course. The Hotel has a bar which serves food also however we ventured out and found a delightful little Thai place which was great value for money and lovely food. The room itself was basic and the bed was a little hard but we got what we paid for really and only used the hotel as a base. Would go back again though when we visit Wetherby and stay over.

It is next to the lovely town of Wetherby and also close for trips to Leeds, Harrogate and York. It is also convenient for a short stay while travelling on business as a one night stop over. It is good value compared to other Hotels in the area of the same standard. The Hotel menu was quite pricey
