Nothing We did not like anything about this hotel. First of all the agent on the desk was not all that good and asked if I had booked the reservation that day. I told him no it was booked a couple of months ago but said he could not find it. After about 20 mins he managed to find the booking. On our return Journey we had booked into the same hotel and had the same performance from the same agent and as my friend and I had booked a twin room he gave us a double of which I insisted we have a twin. The room had a terrible smell in it and if it was not for the fact we arrived around 12.30am and had to leave at 03.45am the I certainly would have been down to see about it. The last bit opf hastle you need either going or returning is someone who is not as comptent as they should be at the reception desk. However I am sure ths complaint will be dealt with like all others put on the shelf and can only comment is it only about money and no customer satisfaction.. Gone are the days when you would get aan snswer on these reviews, but obvioulsy will not return to any of these hotels. Anne Richardson

I liked the fact that the cold water didn't work and the hot water has above 50degrees - make my early morning start that little bit more interesting! Shuttle Bus Service is terrible, complete waste of time, I will never stay in this hotel nor recommend it to anyone looking for an airport stop-over hotel. Evening flight arrived at 1100, eventually in hotel at 0100 up and out again at 0500 for a 0730 flight, wasting so much time faffing with the shared bus service which did not accept card or foreign currency payments - Complete joke for an airport based business hotel. I guess in future I'll google map hotel locations! Still unsure how a 4 miles distance from airport takes 35mins by bus, and when you think 4miles is walkable...people will laugh....I guess if you were a crow and could fly.

I have ordered a double room, received a triple room with no space. Asked for a wake-up call @ 04:00 o'clock, the call never rang. TV at the room didn’t work. At 03:00 the fire alarm started, we had to leave the hotel until the fire fighters came to let us in again. At the checkout, nobody said sorry or suggested compensation.

No Wi-Fi, only an ethernet cable in the room. Does not work for an iPad user. Also, wakeup call was noted by front desk staff, but never acted upon.

Good price, location. Bar and restaurant staff welcoming, food quality good. Trainee staff at reception were abrupt, put us in the wrong room, double when we were two friends which had booked a twin. Trainee staff was not welcoming at reception and did not appologise, should not be best placed as the first member of staff you meet.

There was a shuttle to the hotel from Gatwick. The air conditioning did not work and you could not open windows. The service at the front desk is insanely slow, although the people working are friendly and try to be helpful. The place is not worth the price it is barely a two star hotel that charges a premium due to its location near Gatwick. For the price you might as well take a chance on one of the nearby B&Bs to be honest. The dinner I had was mediocre.

Nothing really stands out. When I arrived, the night staff (I arrived after midnight) informed me that if I pre-booked breakfast, I would get a discount per person. This I did. The following evening, I contacted the front desk to pre-book again for the following morning only to be told that it was not necessary (obviously they did not check my booking as I was booked on a cheap internet rate w/o breakfast included). In the morning I was informed that breakfast would be at the higher rate! The restaurant staff kindly charged me the lower rate after I objected! The night staffer (Yogi) was a trainee and still has a lot to learn regarding guest reception. You should offer free wi-fi in the rooms.

The price was well worth it. We were offered a family room on arrival as we were travelling with kids ages 10 and 12. It was child friendly. Location was good nearby train station so we had access into central london without any problems. We were close to gatwick airport so our departure was convenient. Highly recommended.

Used before. Room service. Bed comfort and pillow comfort. Noisy heater in room. We had a door that separated us from another room; ability to hear occupants next door. Room service didn't forfil our complete order however it was still very good service (missing item of food the menu stated would be included).

Friendly staff Room service was an absolute disaster, All the things I didn't ask, I got and all the things I did ask for, were forgotten... It took them two hours to pick up the tray after dinner... There is no free wifi in the rooms, only on first floor conference room and in reception area, big negative point there is broadban with cable available but didn't work at all.

I did not like the Ramada. As a business traveller the Internet did not work. Despite attempts to fix and a promise I would not be billed, I was billed for the use which I then had to explain again the story to reception. Beds were lumpy and only 12 tv channels on a very poor tv picture. Uk freeview is available in most other hotels. Breakfast was rubbery fried eggs and bacon like leather with plates so hot you could easily burn your hands. I was also charged for 4 breakfast even though I only had 2. Receptions answer initially was " there must have been 2 of you at breakfast". Trying to exit the car park during morning commute is a nightmare. I would not stay here again
