Friendliness of staff Food Room standard

Décor could do with a bit of attention.

Really friendly staff, great breakfast.

The room was too hot, even with the windows open. My partner had to get the night porter to bring a fan to the room at 3am. We complained in the morning and the manger made us feel like we just wanted money off the bill, not that he would even look into our complaint.

Food.

Noise from the wedding reception party till 1am. We did not no they held receptions.We moved room to the basement.

It was a comfortable, pleasant comfortable stay, lovely food and excellent service.

Had a problem with the shower did not run evenly, reported to the staff.

Staff were excellent - polite, efficient and very focussed on customer service. Food was plentiful Prices reasonable. Good location for seeing the beautiful countryside of NE Scotland. We will go back to this Hotel

Small point - We stayed in the Exec Room where the extra sitting space was fine but the bathrooms were small.

Extremely comfortable hotel offering good food with a very friendly & efficient staff.

Although not a problem for us the lack of a lift to the upper floor may be a handicap for some potential visitors.

The Ramnee Hotel offered a relaxed and friendly environment with beautifully furnished rooms, a pleasant and friendly atmosphere, and exceptional food.

Our room was comfortable and overlooked the front garden and drive. All ok .

Decor a bit dated, had to go down stairs with luggage. Could have done with a porter of lift.

Staff were fantastically friendly and helpful and nothing too much trouble. Room very comfortable and ensuite cleaned to high standard. Public areas very comfortable and welcoming - breakfast served quickly and efficiently and delicious

It has lovely character. Is very relaxing, has beautiful grounds. Charming. We spent our wedding night there 25 years ago and returned to spend our Silver Wedding Anniversary there.

A more friendly welcome at reception would have been nice.

Excellent breakfast - cooked fresh so it took longer but not greasy or poor quality. Really good choice too.

A little bit expensive but it was close to the friends were visiting.

My eldest daughter choose the hotel on the internet. She fancied somewhere 'special' looking. The Ramnee is set off the road and has that 'special' feeling to it. Our family room was a twin room a double room with a bathroom between them. Therefore we had more space between us, which was nice.

The location of the hotel as it was relatively close to the village of Findhorn and also situated in the centre of Forres.

I was a regular vistor to the hotel over 20 years ago and found that nothing in respect of the decor had changed. It is (in my opinion) needing a make over, albeit it is still a welcoming hotel, but with inflated prices. We ate in the restaurant, but the food was more in line with normal pub grub. If holding the 4 star rating, I expected better.

The food was excellent A real treat at breakfast as well. Good beer .

All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was comfortable clean with plenty of space.

Service, keine freundlichen mitarbeiter. Sehr laut in der nacht lärm wurde durch mitarbeiter erzeugt.

Relación calidad precio no se corresponde es muy caro por el tipo de habitacion que ofrecen. El baño de la habitación muy viejo y en mal estado.

Vétusté manque de confort équipements de chambre peu pratiques odeurs de cuisine mélangées à on ne sait quoi pas d'accueil etc

Staff friendliness and the food was good

The room we was in had a stale smell and was very compact for the star rating and the price we had to pay. There was also a horrible strong smell on the stair down to the bedrooms. I would go back for food but not to stay.

Food Was excellent as were the staff.
