Loved this bed and breakfast! Service was wonderful. The owner goes above and beyond with making you feel comfortable. She helped us with all our needs and questions. We checked in and were immediately sat down in the dining room where she served us tea and toast. She took our bags to the room. Hotel was very clean and the decor was nice. You had everything you needed in the room with you including coffee maker/tea and little cookies that were free to a towel heater in the bathroom. I slept like a baby. She cooks the breakfast for you fresh in the morning.

Sharon and Norman were the best! The room we stayed in was lovely!! Will definitely go back again. The B&B was approx 10-15 minutes away from Princes St which was a nice walk. Excellently located for the Playhouse and for fun in the city centre. Will definitely stay again on our next visit to Edinburgh and will 100% recommend to friends :o)

Although I had booked the petite double, due to a cancellation I had been moved to a room with ensuite facilities at no extra charge to me. This was thoughtful and generous. I liked the decor of the b and b. I liked the friendliness of the owners and their flexibility, they were very welcoming and made me feel comfortable and at ease despite travelling by myself. I did not like being asked what I wanted for breakfast as soon as I had been shown my room.

Very warm and friendly atmosphere. Everything offered is so nice and handy that makes you feel like home. And the host is very considerate to send email to me before I arrive to inform me that the room I booked has a bathroom outside the room. And to my delight, upon my arrival he offered me another en suit room as someone has canceled the booking. Overall I am happy with everything about it and had very good sleep.

Very nice people and very nice breakfast. My first room was very small and not ensuite so I was moved to another (more expensive) which was nice. Be careful to book an en suite room.

Sharon and Norman are a vey warm couple and treat guests like their own family guests! The b&b is managed with great passion and there is an element of personal touch in everything - right from the Breakfast table to the bathrooms. I would reccommend it to anyone I know who intends to visit Edinburgh. Cost can be lower as its not a hotel end of the day

Very helpful and hospitable hosts, good breakfast with quality ingredients, spotlessly clean, pleasing decor. . Location for Edinburgh centre is excellent, and good restaurants close by. Rooms with well designed facilities for short stay. Stairs down to rooms could be a problem for some people.

We visited the city of Edinburgh. The Tattoo was the highlight of the weekend. We had a lovely time and the Ramsay could not do enough for you from the Breakfast through to sharing their experience of the City.

The contemporary rooms were large & spacious, well decorated, maintained & clean. We were made very welcome and Sharon was very knowlegeable about her city and provided a map and guidance on routes, buses to use and also money off vouchers for tourist attractions. The full cooked breakfast was piping hot and very tasty. A couple of comfy chairs in the room would have been nice, but not an issue.

Incredibly warm and welcoming - Sharon & Norrie make you feel totally at home from the moment you arrive. The rooms are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is huge - will set you up for a full day exploring the city and the fabulous location means you don't have far to walk before you get to the main attractions. Also there are some nice bars and restaurants near by.

Owners Sharon and Norrie very friendly and welcoming. They suggested numerous options of trips. Breakfasts fantastic and set you up for the day of sight-seeing. Rooms modern comfortable and clean. Nice to have an on-suite shower room. Location 10mins from Princes Street with many shops, bars and restaurants along the way. We would highly recommend this b&b to anyone and would definitely return here when we go to Edinburgh in the future.

Ramsay’s b&b is so friendly that we almost felt like family members. The place is very nice, clean and cosy and the breakfast is great. In the rooms you’ve got coffee, tea and cookies. Ramsay’s is located very near to city centre – only a few minutes’ walk. About 20 minutes’ walk up to the castle. Absolutely a b&b we will use again and recommend to others We liked everything.

Ramsay's was an excellant B&B. The hosts, Sharon and Norrie were very helpful about the area and went out of the way to accomodate our dietary needs. The hotel was spotlessly clean and well kept. Location is within walking distance to the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle and shopping. Would definitely stay again.
