Ramsay's Bed & Breakfast  

Great B&B. They had the best breakfast of any that we stayed at on our holiday. Very clean and friendly, we would love to stay there again.

We felt extremely welcome, as though we were staying with family. The home was exceptionally clean, organized and ran efficiently. The proprietor sent a detailed confirmation personally with useful information, directions and the like. The location was a little distance from the main activities, but this suited us. We liked the feeling of "going home" after a day in the crowds and tourists. There was plenty of places to eat and shop with a few blocks walk.

It would have been nice to have a sitting room apart from the dining room. I rise earlier than my family and would have liked that resource.

“Elegant stay.....” Fantastic stay for 2 nights at your B&B. Lovely appearance from the outside, very welcoming from stepping foot in the door. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious with a king bed and very comfortable, which was my priority being 7 months pregnant! The breakfast was lovely, with plenty of options, cereals, fresh fruit and of course a cooked breakfast! Served very efficiently and very fresh! Thank you again for making our stay so enjoyable. We much prefer a family run business than a hotel chain, based on previous stays in Edinburgh.

Very nice people and very nice breakfast. My first room was very small and not ensuite so I was moved to another (more expensive) which was nice.

Be careful to book an en suite room.

We visited the city of Edinburgh. The Tattoo was the highlight of the weekend. We had a lovely time and the Ramsay could not do enough for you from the Breakfast through to sharing their experience of the City.

Incredibly warm and welcoming - Sharon & Norrie make you feel totally at home from the moment you arrive. The rooms are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is huge - will set you up for a full day exploring the city and the fabulous location means you don't have far to walk before you get to the main attractions. Also there are some nice bars and restaurants near by.

I would certainly stay here again excellent hospitality. First class facilities. Could not find any fault. Excellent value for money.

Owners Sharon and Norrie very friendly and welcoming. They suggested numerous options of trips. Breakfasts fantastic and set you up for the day of sight-seeing. Rooms modern comfortable and clean. Nice to have an on-suite shower room. Location 10mins from Princes Street with many shops, bars and restaurants along the way. We would highly recommend this b&b to anyone and would definitely return here when we go to Edinburgh in the future.

Ramsay's was an excellant B&B. The hosts, Sharon and Norrie were very helpful about the area and went out of the way to accomodate our dietary needs. The hotel was spotlessly clean and well kept. Location is within walking distance to the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle and shopping. Would definitely stay again.

Sharon and Norman were the best! The room we stayed in was lovely!! Will definitely go back again. The B&B was approx 10-15 minutes away from Princes St which was a nice walk. Excellently located for the Playhouse and for fun in the city centre. Will definitely stay again on our next visit to Edinburgh and will 100% recommend to friends :o)
