friendly staff food was very good lovely location
room was cold after being out as heating went off when card taken out duvets on the beds were not very big
We checked in early and received a lovely welcome. There was free wifi in our room and easy to connect. Although there was a lot of people staying, there was no noise and we had a good sleep. Good choice for buffet breakfast.
Efficient friendly service
Ugly building with no character inside or outside, how did they ever get planning permission for such a monstrosity? Functional bar but again no atmosphere.
Friendly staff, very helpful,it is our second time staying in hotel and will return again.
Huge bed, all very clean breakfast was super especially the sausages!!
Disappointed that single occupancy was just £10 less than the normal price
The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. The room was huge with a big, comfy bed and lovely views of lake and sea.
The room hadn't been pre-heated but the staff went to so much trouble to make up for it - providing a heater etc that it made up for it.
The location was great, being within easy reach of Ramsey on foot. The breakfast on Saturday was freshly cooked and very nice. Lovely view out to sea and a very clean room
Room at night was quite dark, no main lights. Only issued one card key so power went off in room when we were out so were unable to cahrge phone until back in room. Only small bath towels. The breakfast on Sunday was buffet style and didnt match the breakfast we received on Saturday
Everything was great.
A lovely location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was very good. Couldn't fault it at all.
Couldn't find any faults at all.
We always like the location The friendly staff The breakfasts Rooms are comfortable The table service
The Christmas lunch The choice of piano music during the meal
very good hotel
The staff are always extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are always clean and whatever room you have you get a great view. We stay here on a regular basis and will be back again this weekend. All I can say is thank heavens for this great hotel in Ramsey!
This hotel is obviously shiny new and the room was large and comfortable. Lovely view over lake. Reception staff helpful.
Despite its newness, this hotel had a bit of a Fawlty Towers feel.Butcher hadn't delivered on the Monday, so evening menu very limited. Waiting and kitchen staff don't seem to realise that customers in the restaurant can hear everything they say through the swing door. I heard some very interesting comments including someone being told off in no uncertain terms re the fact that all the cereal bowls on the buffet were soaking wet. Staff at breakfast seemed overstretched (running reception as well) and one of them ran around (literally) often forgetting order notebook and looking non-plussed. Gave a chaotic feel to the early morning. I have never had tinned oranges and grapefruit as a hotel's interpretation of "fresh fruit"! Hotel is 10 mins (dark) walk to town across the swing bridge, so pretty isolated. No water in room (for £75 I would have expected some) and on the first day there were no tissues. Small bottles of wine expensive and not very good quality.
Very friendly & helpful staff.
Bed was lumpy. Bottled water in the room would have been nice.
Clean Hotel. Good facilities. Friendly efficient staff. Good location.
No refreshment facilities in room.
freshly cooked breakfast, with well done bacon as requested!
Modern and well thought out hotel with the travellers comfort and convenience paramount. Situation perfect. Staff friendly and helpful.
Maln course of the evening meal, the only one we tried, was far too large a portion for us, with no option of a smaller one. Far too much for us to enjoy, what a waste. Suggest at least one lighter/smaller choice.
Breakfast needs to start earlier...especially at the weekends. No food available on Sunday's.
Dedicated parking, off street was good and plentiful. Location was excellent, great sea views.
Comfortable, quiet, good breakfast
Restaurant not open for Sunday dinner, and not much else open in Ramsey either. Rather sterile in appearance, and a bit isolated in relation to rest of Ramsey. Almost too quiet on a mid-October Sunday night!
Great room with lovely view of the sea. Staff wonderful as always. Breakfasts are good and plentiful. We were really lucky as the weather was really dry and sunny too. A great weekend!
Location overlooking Ramsey Park was great. Hotel very modern and good standard of decor.
Room not cleaned thoroughly before our arrival. Carpet staining here & there. Lack of info in room for local attractions etc. Continental breakfast choice limited. Evening meals pricey.
Staff are always friendly and helpful, rooms clean, food great. \love the new arrangement for breakfast (all self service) Thanks for another great stay and we look forward to next weekend when we stay with you again!
Not really a moan - Although there is a piano in the bar we have yet to hear anybody play it - would be a nice touch later in the evenings when people come back from night out/meals
Quiet, clean, good beds - easy walk to town.
