Score from 575 reviews Excellent
Opportunity to enjoy Morse venue, Ashmolean museum opposite hotel, direct access to shops from hotel.
Interior of room 305? needed decorating, also rather unpleasant smell at foot of main staircase, foul drainage issue.
excellent service from all the staff without exception
the room had no view and had scaffold on the outside, happily with so much to do in the city time spent in the room was minimal.
I was travelling alone and I felt secure and well looked after throughout my stay at the Randolph. The hotel staff were polite and attentive, the room comfortable and well-equipped and the hotel is perfectly positioned. Service at breakfast was particularly outstanding.
Comfort and central location
Excellent spacious room with armchairs and good lighting. Cooked-to-order breakfast from first-rate ingredients. The staff are efficient and make you feel welcome and valued.
The famous Morse Bar was extremely chilly on occasions: there is no wall between it and the lobby, so that every opening of the street-door results in unpleasant draughts. Visit in summer!
The building and the helpful staff
Terrible room service for breakfast .We opted to take service to relieve pressure in dining room.It was disappointing.
Room very cold and tierd. Had to pay extra for spa area.
Courteous and efficient attention from Reception, Bell captain and staff and dining room staff. Comfortable room and bed.
Concierge staff were very helpful and genuine. Location is fantastic. Stunning building from outside and in public areas
Tiny room, dark and cluttered, poorly-constructed windows led to terrible road noise, the bad shower leaked and flooded the bathroom, the cleaners were rude, the reception staff were unhelpful, the parking was ridiculously expensive (especially considering room cost), the breakfast was
lack of a pool
Friendly staff. General atmosphere good.
It took ages for a non-functioning kettle to be replaced.
Everything: pure luxury
Excellent location, valet parking for car, excellent breakfast and very obliging concierge allowing us to leave the car while we wandered around Oxford
On returning from the theatre, the barman only seemed interested in trying to sell us a brandy 'on offer' at an extortionate price, which we did not partake in and so left without any drink.
Central location and managed car parking
nothing worth a mention
The people were great and the service was excellent. The location is also a massive bonus here, right opposite a great museum and in the centre of town. Easy to walk everywhere.
The spa is tiny and was very busy, we couldn't even get a locker and I had to get dressed in the tiniest toilet. We weren't allowed to have afternoon tea at 2.30pm, even though there were lots of tables. The bar never had any space for us to sit and the lift was so small, it only holds 2 people with bags. We felt like we spent half the weekend waiting for a lift!
Great location and nice large room and friendly staff.
I missed a toiletbrush in the bathroom.
The staff, especially the concierge service
Slow lift ride and only one which went to the 4th floor.
From the moment we arrived the staff were very attentive. The room was lovely. Even the characterful sloping floor. The breakfast was first class. Loved this stay.
Welcoming and great food
Long walk to room
Really good cocktails and afternoon tea was spot on
The room was no better then a premier inn and the bed was too hard
night visitors uncontrolled, reported to reception.
Morse bar serves amazing cocktails
Room was uncomfortably hot during the night
enjoyed the warm and relaxed atmosphere. the staff were always helpful; and we enjoyed the attention to detail. will definitely stay again.
Excellent friendly staff, excellent breakfast excellent room for second day.
Initial room used had very soft bed, however we were moved to superb room for day 2 well done the Randolph .
