The location and a good price for a basic room

Single room a bit tiny

Quiet, warm, clean bedroom - as always . I've stayed here a few times and the staff now always treat me as a friend. This is the first time I was driving to Derby rather than travelling by train and so it took me a little time to find the hotel in Macklin Street.

Not a dislike, just a minor comment that both shaver socket and light over desk needed to be repaired.

The hotel is on 2 minutes walk from the citycentre. A fantastic private carpark in the back of the hotel On the room are tea and coffee facilities I was wifi provided (excellent!) The price is good! Breakfast is good.

Perhaps time for a little bathroom renovation

Tiny tv in room and a poor breakfast. Tea not very nice and just a few very simple items. The travelodge nearby can cost just £21 and their room is far better. I don't want to be rude but say this to explain my choice would be there first every time. Better location and free parking are the plus points for your hotel. Boy was that tv tiny!

I work as a housekeeper for Ronald McDonald House Hotel in Birmingham. My opinion based on my job experience. Rangemoor Park Hotel is great hotel and for affordable price. Extremely clean and tidy, Perfect free of charge high speed super fast wifi internet access exelent for videocalls and business. Nice coffee and tee facility in every room. Free breakfast provided for guests. Perfect place to stay for East Midlands Airport passengers Much better then Hilton standard mainly because my room was in perfect state. I travel a lot and I have been to many hotels but this one is the best I paid only 20 Pounds and I had more then I expected.

Tv remote control was faulty in room 14.

all we wanted was a bed for the night and the location for us was excellent.

was up far too late to try the breakfast. staff were knocking on the door 30 seconds after check out time reminding us it was time to leave. Broken window with no handle so couldnt close. broken shower, made to look ok but soon as you touched it it fell off the wall.

Fire alarm going off in the middle of the night shower needed fixing; was continually running noise from hotel/club opposite one of the secondary units was missing

very good value for money, clean and comfortable. They allowed me to leave my car in the car park for the day which was very helpful

Comfy.

Tv didn't work, WiFi didn't work, room boiling hot and even with both Windows open and fan on didn't cool down. No toiletries. No bulb in one of the lights. Barely any hot water.

Excellent Value for money, clean, friendly, great location, nice, well presented.

Have stayed in better rooms but not at this price so nothing bad to say.

Tv was not working in my room, reported it to the night receptionist, nothing was done until I left.

The door next to my room was very noisy, from 6am on.

Breakfast was of a good quality with good choice. The staff were efficient and helpful. The hotel was clean and perfectly located in the city centre.

The bed sagged in the middle and so was not perfectly comfortable.

We booked this hotel to attend my son's graduation and what a disaster,on arrival I asked if we could leave our cases at the hotel in the morning and then attend the graduation I was informed that this was not possible I could not believe it this would mean that we had to take our luggage to the graduation.On entering the room it was unbearably hot I called reception and was told that the heating would be turned off when the staff decided.The hotel bathroom was very shabby,In the morning my sons room shower did not work and he had to use ours,the hair dryer did not work in our room, and the television also did not have a good enough signal to get a picture.We then went down for breakfast and the breakfast room opened late, my son who is on a specialist diet asked the member of staff to heat up some porridge and was told this was not possible. So all in all the hotel service was apauling, and I will be applying for compensation.

Value for money and friendly atmosphere.

The hotel was very pleasant and so were the staff. The room we stayed in required some minor work which would improve peoples stay. The TV didn't work, there was no thermostatic adjustment on the radiator so the room was extremely hot at night and the shower pipe was split near the shower head.

Cheap, clean, good location.

Breakfast a little disappointing. A "continental" breakfast should surely contain fresh bread and/or croissants. This was more like, "what are the cheapest things we can find to give our guests and still call it breakfast?"

Close to town centre

The wallpaper was very dated, the fact you get locked out the building after 10 if you forget your key as there's no staff around to let you in and we asked staff to close the window twice as there was no handle and was noisy outside but no one did.

Very warm in a good location and off street parking

The Wifi was down for the weekend which was inconvenient for our visit.

Quiet location, value for money, helpful staff, comfort and excellent room standard.

Television refused to work.
